Weekends in riviera village are all about brunch ... and rebel republic is no differentSo, not in the mood for a breakfast menu, I Tried the short rib double dipped and ... it was ok. I love French dip sandwiches, but this one is sort of a pulled pork style. Meh. Not something I'd order again The last time I had the eggs Benedict and it was quite good. I guess it serves me right for ordering lunch during brunch. They do make some very lovely mixed drinks, the bartenders there are quite goodTip: Sit on the patio or next to the sidewalk if you're in the main restaurant. The people and car watching are amazingThe service is fine. Not exceptional but not horrible. So, on a weekend if you want lunch, avoid the village. Every restaurant there is brunching away.

While I love rebel republic I can say I've had some awesome and some terrible experiences here which is a bummer as we've been coming for years and for some reason it's always different. My favorite time to come is for their Wednesday burger deal however it's become insanely popular and it's easy to miss if you want to go during happy hour. One time we went and we waited an hour and a half as they forgot my name was on the list and seated every single group besides us. Despite this mishap, making us wait an hour and a half instead of the 30 they said it'd take, they made no effort to apologize for their mistake and did not seem to care which was frustrating. Other times we came during slower hours for drinks and food and it's been great. The food is incredible but the drinks are alright. I love love their burgers and the loaded fries, genuinely amazing food. What's on tap is great but I had the elderflower lemonade and all my friends thought it was pretty terrible so would not recommend. It can be a bit expensive and parking is hard to find. I would recommend coming during less busy times as it's often very hard to get a table.

Fantastic place for lunch. Great beer servings and great burritos!Not to mention the exceptionally clean bathroom. Omg this place is the best.

Wednesdays $6 Burgers are pretty good. They're big and come with fries. Drinks are $8 for happy hour. Place was packed. Noisy, music and ambiance was good. Our server lady was pretty good, nice attitude. She forgot our waters but she was super busy. Parking is busy. Parking meters only on that street.

Our night turned into a comedy of errors. It kicked off with a heat lamp that refused to cooperate and ended with the restaurant being mostly out of stock. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed on this Sunday night, but our server, Billy J, seemed overwhelmed. Thankfully, our table took it all in stride, but there were plenty of reasons to be frustrated with the experience.The food was nothing to write home about. The burgers arrived on a Thomas English Muffin--no joke--when the menu promised a Brioche Bun. My friend ordered Crown Royal, which ran out after the first drink, and we had to wait until nearly the end of our meal for our requested waters.Like the Jets' offense that night, something just felt off. This place was so underwhelming for us. Booooooooo

Decided to try this place out while walking my doggie on Catalina Ave. as it has alfresco dining where I can bring my dog. Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. It was clearly busy and when I went inside to ask about the wait, I was told by the hostess that there was no wait. We were seated right away with no menus. We waited about 10 min for our menus and got in a drink order. We quickly got our drinks but no one came to take our order. We were waiting for what had to have been 20 min + and we noticed our server attending to every other table around ours except ours. We got so frustrated that we ended up calling a random employee to pay for our drinks so we can just leave. Clearly they are not organized when it's busy and we won't be back.

Came in on a Thursday evening around 8:30pm with 4 friends to grab a quick bite before heading to a wine bar down the street. Service was quick and friendly but unfortunately they didn't check on us more than when they came to get our order/deliver food. I was the only person that didn't have an alcoholic beverage at the table and they never came back around to refill my water which was kinda disappointing. But otherwise, the food was great! I had the little rebel burger which cost $16.50 since we did not come on the night in which they had a special. The burger was SO GOOD! It was a greasy burger, but good nonetheless. The fries that it came with were so-so but the burger definitely made it worth it. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area on a Wednesday!

Rebel has been our go to place over the past couple of years for my family and my adult kids... and their friends.Their $6 burger on Wednesday is an incredible deal. Not only is the burger awesome but it comes with french fries too. The drinks are priced appropriately and the happy hour prices are great. To the person who said the suggested tip was deceptive because it was based on the original price of the burger and not the $6...that is how tipping works. You tip on the original price of the meal, not after coupons, etc. There is nothing deceptive about it! I am sure they won't miss your 90 cent tip per burger.

OMG! First time here ! Was their Wednesday burger special and it was DELICIOUS!!! Devoured the burger!

Just had one of the worst $17.95 burgers I've ever had...the bun was as hardas the stucco on the side of my house. Dry, tasteless, and a complete ripoff forthe price...seriously should have gone to In & Out for a much tastier burger for 1/4th of the price...Service was good, but we won't be coming back here anytime soon.
