Ramona's

I have been to this fast food restaurant, twice now and have received the same service quality both times. The parking lot is always packed around lunch time but the restaurant itself is usually empty, I only see one or two people waiting for food. I have only done pick up orders, so my food is ready to go as soon as I get there, I've noticed there are 2 or 3 employees, and they always welcome you as you walk in. It's pretty quiet, no music or anything and there are about 6 tables you can eat it. As far as the food, its good but not great, Ramona is known for their frozen burritos and that's what they are serving you... larger FRESH versions of their frozen burritos ...I have no complaints since I don't go often, the serving size is justifiable for the price ($13.95) more than enough food for a fast lunch break and can be reheated later. I bought the Beef/Potato plate, it came with a side of rice, beans, and flour or corn tortilla. I recommend trying a least once!

This place is low rated, not sure why. The flavor brings a nostalgic feeling to me. This place is reminiscent of the Mexican food I grew up with. I came here to test the food and I was pleased. It reminded me of my godmother's cooking with the chile rojo burrito. The size of the burrito was HuGE, held with 2 hands. Not sure why folks are down on the size. The food was hot---I let it cool down before biting into it, but I don't like hot food. But I would definitely come back to get a burrito. There are really no places to sit and there is no music to set the ambiance. So maybe work on that to appeal to folks to stay and enjoy a piece of history.

Their pricing doesn't justify their product . A green chile combo plate is 3x more than take out from a Mexican restaurant not to mention its smaller portions

Just like old school! On a visit to CA this place was by my hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it's still good food like it was when as a child and young adult I used to go to the one on Western. Great customer service food was good and the line wasn't even long!

I never been before but was on the way to Walmart and stopped to get some grub. I ordered the rice, bean and cheese burrito. It was delicious I just felt like it should've been bigger. At least it was only $6 but still, inflation is really out of control because I'm used to bean burritos that you could barely hold up. My hands are small and this one I could hold in one hand. That's my only issue. The green sauce is delicious, it's not super spicy so I slathered it all over my burrito.

A friend of mine who grew up near the OG Ramona's won't stop talking about their Beef & Potato burrito, so I knew it was only a matter of time that I try it. Not a Mexican food expert by any means, but on a positive note, I can say everything was fresh and it's VERY clean in here.So, when I found myself only 13 min away from this Lakewood location, last Friday was the day for me to stop in.The "shredded beef" is SO SHREDDED, it's almost non-existent and the consistency of the potatoes almost resemble refried beans. They charge extra to add cheese, which I thought would be necessary, so for and extra $1.15 ... there you have it, an ~$11.00 burrito.

HARD RICE. How does that happen? Staff super friendly and I thought the red meat burrito tasted better than last time but the rice. I can't give you another try Ramona's.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Lakewood location this am. I was the 1st one there and had the pleasure of meeting Porsha and Jonathan. I'm a little picky with my orders, ya know...Extra this, extra that and don't mind paying for the extras..lol! Both were extremely patient and nice. Jonathan's a newbie, but he made my burritos with love. They both are truly an asset to your business!

This Ramona's need to be shut down is unacceptable that these burritos are this small you go to the Ramonas in Gardena totally different different burrito for the same price. It's no way that this burrito should be too small with no meat inside.Last time I ever go back to this place dry burrito
