My first time Palos Verdes, and I to Raffaello's with my five-year-old because he wanted spaghetti. It tasted great! We were definitely not disappointed. There were two women who helped us, and they were both friendly, timely, and helpful. So glad I found this gem. If I ever visit PV again, I'll make sure to stop by again.

Raffaello's is our go to place when we are picking up dinner for the beach. Enjoyed the beef ravioli with meatballs tonight - delicious. The Raffaello's sandwich and meatball/sausage sandwich were also a fantastic choice. We share between 3 people and always have leftovers. The people who work there are amazing. Started going on the regular after they provided meals for the families affected by the slide up in Portuguese Bend - was so grateful as my 86 year old mom lives up there alone and really benefitted. What a way to support the local community!

PizzaOld school pizza place. Favorite of the local high schoolers 1, ambiance You probably want to get the pizza to go. Everyone pretty much does The inside is worn. The pictures are crooked. The tables chipped. The floor covered in crumbs (how do they get an A?). The booths have upright backs. It's exactly what you expect. Don't judge - it's a slice of Americana. Note: no public bathrooms 2, foodI only had the pizza: Medium crust pizza, good flavor. Plentiful cheese and they don't scrimp on toppings. If you think of a generic American pizza , this is it. And you either love that style and come here or you go to another establishment for a variation. (Eg Chicago , New York or real Italian )I'd have to say that this and Pedones are about the same in terms of ambiance and food. Choose one based on your proximity if you want this style of pizza 3,conclusion Non pretentious, owner operated local pizza place in lunada with stereotypical American pizza at good prices.

If Raffaellos could make a decent thin crust pizza this would be an absolutely outstanding restaurant in Palos Verdes. Unfortunately they dont. The slices are like a pile of white cheese on barely cooked dough. Cheese falls off the limp slice when picked up. It's as if they need to cook it at least another ten minutes. Other than that, the other food is great, and I truly love the place and the great people that work there.

Grew up eating at Raffaello's. Every time I visit this restaurant the staff is amazing. They are friendly and have great customer service. But the best part is their delicious food!!! The food taste the same since I've been coming here. Homemade fresh Pizza! Looks great in here as well brings me back to my childhood love it !

I was expecting more due to the magnificent reviews. It's okay food, with okay taste. The place is really small, and it felt really hot inside there (not sure if the a/c was on). Not too many places to sit down and eat around there.

The cheese is not good ! The prize is okay but the flavor is definitely lacking......: service was okay and we weren't even able to dine in because the chairs were placed on top of the table.

Going downhill unfortunately. They started charging a 4% surcharge for credit/debit which means they are trying to make money on non-cash customers (if they are getting charged more than 3% by their credit card processor than they should go find an alternate). Ordered zucchini stocks that ended up getting burnt zucchini slices. Two times I have added requests for the chicken sandwich and both times they got the order wrong. Not sure what's going or if there are new owners.....
