R10 Social House

We absolutely loved it here! We stopped for a quick dinner after a retirement party. Dinner and drinks were amazing and perfect portions!!! A huge shootout to the amazing bartender who took care of us and the kind gesture he extended to my husband, who is a LAFD firefighter and paramedic. Top notch and appreciated!!! We will be back!!!

stopped by for a quick lunch and was quite satisfiedordered the risotto and fish tacos: risotto was so delicious!! basically inhaled the whole platethe fish tacos are also great but lacked sauce. would ask for tartar sauce next time. otherwise, the rest of the dish was perfect service was ok, nice but nothing out of the ordinaryoverall a solid place to come for a bite near the beach

Sister Lunch Dinner Brunch We do Lunch Ray had Mimosa, Tasha had Tea, Jamie had Mimosa. Appetizer: Truffle Fries, spicy wings ( great taste not that spicy).Ray Had Porbella Mushrooms Prawns she didnot care for it. Tasha had Crispy Chicken Sandwich. R/10 has the best fish and chips in Redondo Beach. You will just love them. They are not super crispy so if you want that order something else. They are deep fried and there is real cod as the fish and the batter is just yummy.There is nothing not to like about R/10. It has a beautiful location at the Redondo Beach Pier, it is always kept super clean, reservations are seated on time and often you don't need a reservation. It is large with pretty booths and great table and chair seating. Parking for free is nearby or better to just pay the fee and park, you can then walk the pier after.The service is great. The servers know the menu and it is a mighty menu and can guide you. Our server was ever so kind and was very patient with my speech delayed grandson. He got his order right and he made him feel like he mattered. You are never rushed. The food comes pretty fast.They also have the best chowder and we love their sea bass and soul. They even have burgers that are great. We have been a few times now and are just so happy and relaxed to be there.It is never too loud. It is just lovely.

This place, I trusted, as one of the pit stops in my primary birthday celebration of the past birthday month. I am the type of person who celebrates a birthday month. The reason is simple--not everyone gets to live to see their next birthday. And each time I do, I want to thank the mighty forces of the Earth and beyond for keeping me around: to be silly, to be loud, and to help when I can and when I am allowed to. So yes, I want to blow out candles, eat frosting, and hear "Happy Birthday" in lyrical form because life has granted me another spin around the sun. If you remember that, then a person's birthday will not be just another day but a true cause for celebration.This belief led me to R10 because, when I am there, time seems to slow down--perhaps because I am having fun.R10 (I wonder how the joint got its name) is located at the Redondo Beach Pier, or close to it. When you get a booth next to a window, you can see the Redondo Beach wharf, full of boats and wood. I allow myself to imagine that I am a weary sea captain who has stumbled into this place, eager to escape the sea for a spell and enjoy the land while sipping on cocktails. When I want to enjoy the land, I do so at this place. My cocktail of choice here is the "Blackbeard," a twist on a vodka sour with blackberry.What would a seaworthy captain do to acknowledge the greatness of a drink? Burp in delight, wipe the suds from his face (some remaining on his beard), and open his single eye--the one not covered by a patch--widely, also with delight. I know I said "delight" twice, but I assume pirates are not profoundly eloquent. I mean, they used an X to mark a spot and didn't require people to find treasure behind a riddle or clever puzzle.I digress.The drinks and atmosphere conspire to make the air sweet in metaphor, as one cannot escape the salty air of the beach.In terms of food and service, the place is stable--like a plank should be, because you want a person to walk the plank and drop to their death by force, not due to substandard craftsmanship.This place is great! The imaginary parrot on my shoulder agreed and echoed, "This place is great!"

A night out with the family that consisted of long walks along the beach while the princess rode her bike; we worked up an appetite. Trying not to drive around town looking for a spot to eat, we decided to stop at R10 Social House..... And I'm glad we did. There was little to no wait time to be seated (busy night). The staff was friendly and made recommendations on what we should try and what pairs together nicely. I settled for a Pull Pork sandwich with fries & beer and my wife got calamari with a sangria on the side. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. definitely a new go to spot when we are down by Redondo Beach. If you haven't stopped by, you should give this spot a try.

R10 Social House is a great spot to kick off a beach day and have brunch! With summer in full swing; it certainly was a lovely start of the day to have brunch here at R10 Social House.Despite being a South Bay native and someone who has frequented the Redondo Pier; it was my first time ever to check out R10 Social House. I loved the wooden interior, chill ambiance and the view of the marina. I was seated downstairs but I also learned there is an upstairs area where events can be held. I got a little sneak peak of the upstairs area and was in awe of the view up there as well. I have to say I made a mental note for possible events here in the future. I can only imagine how gorgeous the view of the beach sunset is from here.Not only were the views from this restaurant something to talk about; their brunch food was also quite delightful. Being a lemon fan; I chose to get their Lemon Ricotta pancakes. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes were divine! They were so fluffy. I loved the toppings of blueberries and toasted almonds too. This dish really expected my expectations. I'm a lemon fan but totally didn't expect that I would enjoy this dish as much I did. I highly recommend.Overall I enjoyed my first time at R10 Social House and can see why many Redondo Beach pier vistors go here. Food is great, views are great and location is great. I found myself enjoying a nice stroll to the pier that was right there right after brunch. A visit here really is a nice way to kick off a beach day. Happy brunchin' and happy beach day!

disappointing the website is out dated and they don't do a weekend happy hour and don't honor the website. just update the website. takes 5 minutes.

Food is excellent. we've tried pretty much everything on the menu more than once. The service is awesome. Hostess, servers, bartenders are all fantasti. The ambience varies from very busy to pretty dead. Regardles, we the food and service is consistent.Our "complaint" is they always have the windows and doors open, which is great in the spring and summer but the winter is ridiculously cold !
