I came here with two friends for a quick bite to eat since we were onboard the Queen Mary. It was fairly empty (past peak lunch time), and we had a lovely view of the ocean. We weren't too hungry except for me, but they were gracious enough to let us sit and have some drinks (a Shirley temple and a cocktail) and for me to have their New England clam chowder. Very straightforward fare, but comforting and warm on the tummy. The server was also quite attentive and courteous. We didn't have time to come back, but would love to see how the other items on the menu fare.

Extremely quiet restaurant. With pretty amazing views if you're seated facing Downtown LB. But based on the price per plate - the ambiance didn't match up. Our tables were wobbly... no table cloths - felt like we were at a church potluck. There was no music - so it was really quiet and awkward to over hear everyones conversations around us. (And there were only 3 other parties around us but they still sat us closely together, my guess was b/c we all shared the same server) Our server was much too casual for my taste... altho a really nice guy. But again I was expecting a little something more on the formal side based on the pricing of the menu. All of that shared - the food was incredible. It made up for everything the ambiance and server lacked... I was blown away by the dishes. My older kids had the adult spaghetti and meatball dish - my youngest had a kids burger and fries. My mom had the chicken quesadilla and I had the short rib. Every single dish was uniquely served and beautifully plated. Every dish tasted amazing. Outstanding job to the cooks in the back! Would I come back.. maybe - maybe not. It was really cool to say we ate on the Queen Mary but I would likely try another restaurant on the ship before coming back to this one. ALSO huge shout out and thank you to Robert for being so cool and scooping out the S.W.A.T details for my son who knew they had filmed on the boat but wasn't sure of where on the ship. You were a rock star and made my sons evening. Thank you!!

The food was actually pretty good for lunch. I ordered a California Turkey Club with the sidewinder fries. The fries are so dang good. Cost was 20.00My husband ordered the braised short ribs with a delicious Demi glaze for 28.00.The breakfast buffet was just okay and pretty pricy for what was offered. I would have liked the option to order from a menu. For both meals the service was wonderful and attentive. I noticed other diners during lunch were ordering the French dip. Next time I would probably order that with those sidewinder potatoes for sure!

While the food wasn't bad, the appearance of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The establishment looked quite old and outdated, raising concerns about cleanliness. It didn't help that the overall atmosphere felt rather neglected. As for the service, it was just passable. The waiter came to our table only once after serving our food. So, if we had wanted another drink, it would have been quite a challenge. Considering the prices, service, and appearance, I find it unlikely that I would choose to return.

My first time coming here when it is not spooky in October lol it was absolutely beautiful for my grandma's birthday lunch. The food did take a while maybe about 40 minutes, but the manager made it right and comped all of our drinks. It was a new cook so they were getting used to the rhythm and flow of the tickets. Which is totally understandable. The shrimp cocktail was delicious Jumbo shrimp, and the clam chowder was out of this world with yummy crackers. The short rib was a huge plate with mashed potatoes and the gravy was delicious as well as the carrots cooked perfectly. The prime W sandwich was absolutely my favorite! It had a great side salad with vinaigrette And the bread was nice and soft. The chicken tenders was delicious and flavorful as well as the french fries.

It was a cool experience to be able to eat at the café on the Queen Mary. It wasn't very crowded and the views were amazing. The food was good and had big portions. The staff was also very nice. I will be back.

The food was good and the portions were very generous. Our waitress Mary Jane was friendly and attentive, made suggestions and knew the menu like the back of her hand. The windows are big enough to enjoy the outside view of the ocean and it was a comfortable place to sit, eat and take your time.

We came on Saturday to view the Queen Mary and do the daytime haunted tour. They have a breakfast buffet, but we wanted the lunch for the fries. The French fries are awesome, but the food over all is quite good. The chicken strips are juicy, with a crunchy crust, like chicken Milanese. The St Louis ribs are huge, with sweet hot bbq sauce. The calamari starter has tender rings & tentacles. They have a tasty market salad, too.The service was good, and the prices are reasonable, especially considering the venue and view.

This was an unfortunate experience. I'm pretty fond of a cafeteria vibe, but I think we potentially chose the wrong time or perhaps the wrong restaurant to come to on the Queen Mary. We had a reservation from 7pm, was told it was be about 5 mins while they got our table ready. We waited for 20 minutes and went to the hostess to see how much longer we needed to wait. As we approached to say "hello", she said "hi! Let me know if you would like a table" she didn't remember us from 20 minutes ago. The service was disorganized to say the very least. Mo came out to apologize, she said she wasn't the manager, but listened to us, which we appreciated. We ended up just getting our drinks, and leaving without eating. This is not like us, but we were pretty disappointed and dissatisfied. We needed up going to the bar, which was amazing and saved our trip out to the ship. Parking was free this day. $10 to board the ship to access restaurants/bars.

Not sure why it's rated so low. It's no culinary masterpiece but it's a decent diner with a one of a kind setting. The coffee was solid, and the clam chowder was good. The service was friendly and attentive. Hostesses were also friendly. I'd sit here again in this peaceful spot listening to music from the 40s.
