Poor Richard's Cocktails

Ive heard of this place and finally decided we would give it a shot. Its a small place but we found two seats at the end of the bar. We met the owner, who is a Steelers fan, so that worked out with my girlfriend. The man at the helm poured some damn good drinks and they were overall terrific. They have a scratcher machine and we decided to have a little fun while enjoying good drinks. We look forward to the day we can go in and day drink and play more scratchers and win next time.

Dive bar. Open 6am-2am. Lottery games. Full bar. Touch tunes. A 24 hour donut shop in the same plaza. Top notch service from the amazing bar staff. This place isn't nicknamed Pour Richards for no reason.

Stopped in for a drink after eating at Marri's Pizza a few doors down. This wasn't my first visit to Poor Dick's by any means as I've come through at various times with friends during the last two decades. Tonight I got a bottle of Coors Light and OMG it was so refreshing and ICE COLD!!! Wow. So good. Delightful. I then noticed the beer fridge and it said it was 27°!Pretty reasonable too for drinks out at a bar, especially considering these days. Our tab total was $12 for the 2 drinks. $4 for the beer and $8 for the Captain and Coke.

A very dark old school Dive Bar! Have moved away but miss the locals there ! I followed my little sister Lisa there many nights over 5 years ago! now she is gone to heaven and I wish I could go back to those times! Drinks are heavy pour and the service always good ! Cool people with a calm vibe

Once upon a time, we fell into Poor Richard's. It is a local watering hole. They bartenders are cool and the atmosphere very casual. A day drinker's paradise! The prices are good. You can order food from next door and they will deliver it to you! A great little nook to hang out. Seems the place has been here forever. Sure glad they made it beyond the pandemic! Take a load off and have a cocktail here. The end.

The MOST EXPENSIVE bar in Long Beach!!!! The same beer and cocktail at another local bar is 3 bucks cheaper, and WAY STRONGER!!!! I want to like this place but I can't with these prices!!!

A great local bar with great staff, including a fan favorite Brittany. I'm a fan. Great place to hang out whatever time of day. Very nice clientele. Brian

The bartender Tim is the best bartender ever. He was so amazing and deserves a raise. Great guy and very nice
