Pollo Inka Express

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. I was so surprised! My expectations were low with it being "express" but honestly prefer here from the actual restaurant! Will definitely be back

This is a new establishment. It is located in the old KFC location off Torrance Blvd & Anza. The owners haven't refurbished it too much as the inside still looks pretty much the same as before.I ordered their half chicken combo with fries, steamed vegetables and an Inka cola. The food arrived fairly quickly, meat was cooked right came with some light green (aji verde) sauce.Overall, the meal was pretty good. I frequent many Peruvian restaurants and this place was not bad at all. The chicken was tender and so were the fries that come with it. Price was reasonable for the food. I would recommend and will likely return.

For a minute i have been disappointed in pollo inka lately The last time my family & I went to a pollo inka location was the first week of the new year. But it was another location in Torrance, Today my husband & I decided to try this location out & we were impress. The plate i got was the tallarin with a 1/4 of chicken. The price was worth it especially because it was alot of food that it fed myself & my two daughters, my husband got his favorite dish lomo saltado he actually gave up on this dish since the other restaurant serves you a plate full of purple onions and French fries & only 4 pieces of chicken but THIS LOCATION did a beautiful presentation in the lomo saltado. The taste in the food was so perfect that my 2 year old said the spaghetti is "fire" meaning it was delicious & the chicken was super juicy that i had to order an extra 1/4 chicken on the side. The inside of place was very clean. Service was perfect i believe the gentleman who helped was Edward.Very helpful and nice. We LOVE this location. Thank you for making us have hop again in pollo inka franchise.

Pollo Inka Express is now in Torrance! I've always been a fan of El Pollo Inka and was happy to hear that they opened an express restaurant in Torrance.This new restaurant takes over the location that previously housed KFC. It's on the corner of Torrance Blvd and Anza.This location is pretty new but already quite popular. Friday lunchtime was quite busy and it took 25-30 minutes to get our orders. I felt that they were prioritizing take out orders first versus the dine in orders as noticed a few folks who ordered to-go get their meals first.Our orders consisted of Pollo Lomo Salatdo and Tallarin Verde con Pollo. Both were $14.99 and came with Cilantro Soup. I was slightly disappointed that the Cilantro Soup came out cold. It was a little surprising that it was cold because I had expected it to be hot and fresh with the long wait time. Nevertheless the soup was still tasty. I was happy though that the entrees came out nice and hot. I could definitely tell the entrees were freshly prepared. Both entrees were quite delicious but I did notice that there wasn't a lot of chicken in the Lomo Salatdo dish. The chicken with the Tallarin Verde was also slightly burnt. They also made a mistake in giving me white meat though I asked for dark meat. Despite these little misses; the meal was enjoyable.It could perhaps be because they are still new but it also felt like service could have been a lot better. It took quite some time to ask for water cups. There was only one server and it seemed like she was overwhelmed between taking orders, giving orders and wrapping up to-go orders. She saw me waiting but I had to flag her down to get the cups. This place has potential and food is good; which is why I still want to give this spot 4 stars. I do however think that there are several kinks they need to work out (cold soup, long wait time for food, slow service). I will be back and hopefully by then they have worked out some of the little issues.

Ohh the excitement to have one close to home. We would usually go to the one in Gardena and it was pretty far from us. This is the perfect location and glad they used it to replace the KFC. The parking is great, they have the drive thru as well. When we went during dinner rush there was no line so I guess it depends what time you go that it can get pretty busy. A TIP: call in your order and then just pick up, this has always been the way to go for us. I've seen many negative reviews in waiting so long and they rate the place on that, the fact you come here you know the food is good so just take a few minutes order and pick up so you don't have to wait in line and be miserable. They prepare your food fresh so be patient. The place is fairly new the tables and everything is clean and tidy. The bathrooms are clean and it's spacious for you to have a meal there comfortably. The Gentlemen that were taking orders and on the phone were very nice and bilingual as well. As far as food we got the Lomo Saltado order as well as Pollo Saltado and the Platanos. Their meals are so well served great amount of rice ratio as well as the meat. Love that they serve the little soup to go with your meal other spots ain't usually do that. It was very flavorful and fresh for sure. The little green sauce they give you is Absolutely delicious and has a good kick. We enjoyed our meal for sure. Welcome to Torrance Pollo Inka Express!

Our first tine dining here. So many items on the menu and I selected the Tallarin spaghetti with sliced beef and vegetables. It was very good, however the beef was a bit tough. But the meal was very flavorful. The front parking lot is relatively small but not full when we arrived. There is additional parking in the rear and on an adjacent parking lot that serves several businesses. Since it was our first time there I had questions and the cashier was very friendly patient and knowledgeable answering all our questions. The interior of the restaurant was bright, modern and clean. It felt welcoming. Glad we gave it a try and I'll certainly dine there again.

The prices are lower. The service is faster. The portions are larger. Sure, you have to eat out of a styrofoam container, sit in a fast-food dining room, and order standing up at a counter. Just don't go here for date night and enjoy the same good El Pollo Inka food in a way more convenient format.The servers are very nice and friendly.There is easy street access and parking.They give you way more green sauce (aji verde)!!There is no tip suggestion guilt-tripping button at this counter-service establishment! There's even a drive -thru!

One of the best we would say. Our new go-to fast food. My daughter loves the green sauce (aji verde). My husband likes the cilantro soup and the chicken is delicious!Express it is, affordable and very closed to our apartment. Heaven sent.My daughter is a home-cook type of a person but when she gets tired of left overs, she automatically suggests pollo inka. She finds their food is delicious.The service is five star and the staff is polite.

Today was the second time that we ordered from here and it once again was excellent the chicken is cooked perfectly, soup is delicious and the staff is always so helpful and friendly! The only reason for four stars is because I think beans should be an option for a side. They don't really cost that much but you can only get fries salad or rice. With that said I gladly paid an extra six dollars for a large beans because they're so delicious and I love their salad and the dressing. The fries don't really travel well but we just reheated them in the air fryer. Overall I'm so glad they made it to Torrance and a great solid place to get something fast, healthy and delicious!
