Staff is friendly, the food is fresh and tasty. There is outdoor seating which is nice. A hidden gem on the promenade.

Came here for a late lunch for a friend's birthday after visiting the Aquarium of the Pacific and it was nice.Food: 8/10. Ordered a poke bowl where you can pick out your fish + added sides. I liked how the sides were unlimited. Fish tasted fresh and sides were good, but all of my friends and I said that it was a bit pricey for what we got, so that was one of the reasons why I gave it a 3/5 stars. Service: 10/10. Lady/Cashier in the front was so nice to us when checking us out/handing us our food.Ambiance: Very small inside, so my friends and I sat at the patio area. We all had to use the restroom, but one of my friends who first went in noticed the soap dispenser was out of soap. She found the soap bottle in the restroom, but even the soap bottle was running out of soap, which also added to 3/5 star rating. Again, this could have been an off day.Overall, don't see myself coming back here, but it was nice to experience this restaurant, especially for a friend's birthday.

Coming in, the staff are super friendly--major emphasis on their friendliness. I ordered the K-BBQ burrito and it was so delicious. It's a take-out style but they have some seating available outside and limited indoor countertop seating. Definitely a limited ambiance since it's a small establishment. I highly recommend visiting here for a quick snack!

I put in an online order, which said it would be ready for pickup in 10-15 minutes, when I arrived, not only did the wait staff not have my order ready, they knew nothing about it! As I patiently waited for my order to be prepared, the back kitchen appeared chaotic and frantic and there seemed to be friction between the two people in the kitchen. The picture on the website included avocado, but when my order came up, there wasn't any. When I questioned this, I was told you had to order it on the site and pay extra charge. I showed them that avocado was not an optional item on the menu, and should be included with the order as advertised. They refused to add avocado and said I had to pay extra for it, which I would have had it been an option online. This was my first time and last patronizing this business.

Every pole place I've been to before you could see the ingredients inside of a glass window and order what you want by pointing to them. At Poke Pub, they have all the ingredients covered and you had to mark up what you want on a paper menu without seeing the food, which was a bit odd to me. I got salmon and albacore as the protein on a base of sushi rice/salad combo - the fish tasted good, but they didn't have as many options for toppings and somehow they were out of Wasabi and furikake (usually staples of poke places). Portion is a bit on the smaller side as well. Overall, not bad, but can't compete against some of my favorite poke spots.

I ordered the poke burrito with ahi tuna and salmon. I really liked my choice because the fish tasted fresh and had great flavor. The employees were very friendly and helpful explaining the menu and the ordering process. I do believe it is on the pricey side, I paid $20 for my poke burrito and I did not get any extras. I like the outside patio and I would recommend to perhaps add more shade for each of the tables. I wanted to sit inside but it seemed like the AC was either not on or working. All in all I recommend visiting this place and giving it a try.

Food was good. Very friendly staff. Food quantity is less when compared to their prices. If you are not very hungry, then it might fill you up. I had ordered a veggie poke bowl.I wish they didn't use plastic as much, then they would have got a 5 stars from me. This is Long Beach, one of the eco-friendly and sustainable places, yet this place doesn't care much about the plastic pollution. :(

Poke bowl - amazing. I got greens base, 3 proteins (all fish) and their house spicy sauce with ponzu. My partner got a bulgogi burrito. SO GOOD! The price reflects the quality of the food. So many hard seltzers, kombucha, and teas, plus beers on draft. Gluten free sauce options are available as well. The service is great. They're super friendly and fast, too. I love the outdoor seating area. Great place to grab a bite and hang out for a bit.

Such a cute place. I seen great customer service. The food is clean. Parking isn't bad. Perfect location downtown Long Beach. I love spicy poke nachos.

How have I not reviewed this place yet?!? It has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now, especially after Poke Cat closed :( That was actually how I happened upon this place and it was obsession at first bite.I've tried their poke bowls and some of their hand rolls: the unagi, spam and philly rolls in particular. The unagi and spam rolls are delicious! I have yet to try one of their sushi burritos, but I'm more of a show-off-the-chopstick-skills kinda gal. Onto the bowls: I normally get the 50/50 base with either rice and greens or rice and soba noodles. For the proteins I like two scoops of tuna and one of shrimp, but sometimes I'll sub one of the tuna for albacore or salmon. I love almost all the toppings available and ALWAYS get an extra scoop of the crab salad because it's so good. I love all the fresh ingredients and basically get them all along with the furikake and fried onions from the crunchy list. I finish off with their house sauce and a drizzle of the yuzu for a bright citrusy finish.I've never had an issue with the quality of their fish, and have never gotten sick from it. And usually I get my order through Uber Eats. No complaints here! I type this as my stomach rumbles, not-so-patiently awaiting for my order to arrive. Ok, time to eat! Pictures coming soon!
