Poke Kai

Poke bowl was a 10/10. I went with salmon, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna. I love that they give you the option of salad or rice. I went with 50/50. All the toppings you want. Let's see if I can remember all my toppings. Cucumber, edamame, jalapeño, crab, green onion, fried garlic, sesame seeds with ponzu, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. Overall, fish was seasoned well and fresh. I really enjoyed my bowl. Have been here a couple of times and will continue to come here. They offer regular and large bowls. Regular 3 scoops of fish. Large 5 scoops. They have all the fish and toppings all out. It's like subway. You order what you want. Person behind the counter was friendly and polite. Restaurant was clean. It's not very big, but they do have indoor as well as outdoor seating. They also offer Ramen. I want to say you just grab the bag you want and make it yourself. Under $7.

Simple, no-frill poke made with fresh ingredients. Nothing exceptional about the poke, and the portion-size is a bit on the small side, but it still hits the spot.Service is decent and the indoor dining area can accommodate about 15 customers. It's relatively clean.

Hands down the best overall poke spot in the area. Their servings are realllly good they ALWAYS give me an extra scoop of protein and each scoop is always full. Even though it's still about $20 like every other place they make sure you get your moneys worth. The fish itself is also very good and always tastes fresh. Employees are always kind and offer recommendations when asked too.

The tuna was fresh and tasty! Also, got to love the option for a spam masubi. The person at the front-with glasses- was cool. The only complaint was that we couldn't get an extra empty bowl or plate to split our meal without being charged another bowl. That was ridiculous. Other than that, awesome place.

This Is a go to. Super fresh and very tasty poke. Party in your mouth. If you like poke you won't regret trying this place. Can't wait to come back.

POKE KAIIIIII I LOVE YOU!!!I've been coming here since they opened in LB in 2018! this is the number one spot I go to and recommend it to everyone who thinks their poke spot is better. needless to say, numerous minds have been changed.I love you Poke Kai! get the bowl w salmon, tuna, etc! love their food so so much

The customer service was horrible and the price was too much. I should have just went to my regular poke spot. Maybe the girl was having a bad day. Tables weren't clean won't be coming back here

It's been a while since my last visit. I'm happy they were open when searching for a last minute dinner spot because I was reminded how good this place is. It's a little pricey, however they really do give a lot. The protein scoops (esp spicy tuna) are worth the money. I can't forget to mention the quality...everything was fresh!!!They have unique sauce options. Personally, i'm basic with little to no sauce, but if you like spicy, this place has a variety of options. I am always a fan of "build your own" and seeing all ingredients in front of you.It's a clean a cute spot in a great location with plenty of parking!

The poke is good, but it is a bit pricey, especially considering the small portions of fish compared to the large portion of rice. One issue I've encountered is their refusal to serve the seaweed salad on the side. Previously, a gentleman was kind enough to accommodate my request with a small portion, but today, a different employee was persistent and rude about denying it. When I mentioned that I had received it on the side before, she insisted that it wasn't allowed.I believe the customer service could be improved, and this situation could have been handled better. Offering the option to have the seaweed salad on the side would be a simple solution, as I personally prefer it that way rather than mixed into my poke bowl. It feels like a tactic to push customers toward purchasing a larger side portion instead.If they truly want to provide great customer service, they should be willing to accommodate reasonable requests like this. As a frequent customer who spends a good amount on their poke bowls and who goes out of their way to drive to this location, I don't think it was an unreasonable ask. It's not as if providing a small portion separately would have affected the employee personally, yet they made a big deal out of refusing my request rather than making a simple accommodation.Leaving this location after encountering this situation was very frustrating and disappointing. I may now consider another spot to get my poke as I now feel like it may not be worth it to come to this location knowing my experience may not be the greatest. I was reading other reviews about the service and honestly very disappointed but not surprised. As consumers we decide where to spend our money and if a place of business does not care about the service they provide to their customers seems like us customers are just another number to them.
