Pirozzi's Italian Deli

Excellent Italian deli with a small market. What I love best about this place is they have all the fixings to make pizza or other secondi's (aka main dishes). They have homemade pizza fixings, you can also purchase chicken Parmesan and raviolis and manicotti in the freezer section. I tried the chicken Parm recently and it was very good! Although I would encourage them to add optimum cooking instructions. Her perhaps sell it in parts so you can heat up the chicken separately then add the sauce and the cheese. Anyways, it was still delicious! Love their sausages and their deli sandwiches!! They even make their bread homemade.The staff was friendly and there's plenty of parking. It's a cozy interior but clean. Plenty of parking outside in a few tables to enjoy your lunch.

Nice little pizza spot with fresh delicious pizza!!My family was tired of ordering from commercial pizza places and found this one close to home.And glad we tried it out, the food was so fresh and delicious with that homemade taste it was perfect.

I've been living in Pedro. Essentially my whole life since about five years old and I've never tried this place. Clearly I was living under a rock about a week ago. I finally decided to give this daily a try. I did a pick up order and got the turkey bacon sandwich. Wowzaaaa why the F did I not try them sooner. It was delicious I love it! I didn't get a chance to snap a picture because I scarf it down lol If you're in the area and you want a yummy Sammy stop right here. Also, when I went in to pick it up fast service, there was a lady behind the counter. She's very sweet and had a great smile that goes a long way for me.

A local favorite, this mom and pop Italian/Croatian deli and market is a must-visit. The aroma of fresh bread greets you the moment you walk through the door. I tried the Godfather sandwich packed with prosciutto, capocolla, ham, salami, provolone, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and zesty pepperoncinis, all drizzled with oil and vinegar and served on a freshly baked baguette --absolutely delicious! They use top-quality ingredients and the freshest bread. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

A classic Italian sub always hits the spot!If you want to go to a great sandwich spot in San Pedro, then you need to head over to Pirozzi's! We tried their Godfather Sub, Meatball Sub, and the Hot Rod Pizza. Both sandwiches were by far my favorite items that we tried, especially the Godfather! They definitely did not hold back with the deli meat and the bread held up together nicely. They just started serving pizza too so I would give it a try! Also, if you wanted to grab some ingredients to make some food at home, they sell a bunch of imported products from Italy so I would definitely go check it out!

So disappointing for the past few months- it's been hit or miss when ordering for delivery.. My recent chicken parm sandwich order was lacking in every way - had hardly any sauce to begin with AND was missing the extra sauce I ordered, the chicken was definitely overcooked/ ridiculously dry, had to actually check if they put cheese on it and the sauce flavor was beyond gross - it had such an odd taste. Only good part of this sandwich was the baguette.

Holy scallop. Croatian sandwich tastes exactly like a $50 short rib ragu I had at a New American restaurant in Claremont between two slices of bread. The most satisfying sandwich I've had in possibly years. High quality meat. Love the ambience

I used to come here all the time. Like. All. The. Time. We would walk over when it was lunchtime and I remember always getting a sandwich and chips. I went more recently and sadly, it's totally different than how I remembered it. I also haven't been here in a very long time .... but everything seems to be different in all aspects - food, service and ambiance and not for the better. Not awful service but not friendly, either. The workers seemed like they didn't want to be there and were in no hurry to get your order done in a timely manner. I got the Turkey and Cheese and it was edible but nothing spectacular.

Twice I have had to walk out as I stand at the deli trying to buy some meats. I spend around $70 a week there on meats and sometimes they wait on me and sometimes they don't. I guess they don't need the money? A good ass kicking to employees who just stare at you is my recommendation)

When I'm in the area I always stop by. They always make my sandwich exactly like I like it. The entrees are good. Great neighborhood spot.
