The best part of living in socal are definitely these types of taco trucks. Pinky's offers street tacos and fries stuffed with meat that's juicy and flavorful, right next to a chill liquor store with a crazy wide selection of drinks like thai tea, every beatbox flavor, etc. A very small crowd of people waiting to get their orders, nice and chill little spot that's illuminated by some string lights and the classic neon sign. So good we went back for round two an hour later to try their fries LOLCarne asada burrito/taco: nice big chunks of meat, where the flavor didn't get lost in the other ingredients. Tender and had a nice bite. Al pastor taco: they had it grilling outside, the big hunk of meat, so you know it's legit. My personal favorite, very very juicy and very flavorful.Cabeza: second favorite, sooo melt in your mouth tender and a bit fatty, just perfect4 types of salsas, a verde, an avocado salsa, a red hot sauce (very spicy), and a darker red sauce that was tamarind esque. I'm not really a salsa expert, but the greens were amazing, definitely very limeyAfter our tacos and burritos, we went and got the carne asada fries, and with much anticipation, we opened the container to see it stuffed absolutely to the top with melty cheese on top. There was so much meat, the proportion was perfect. The cheese pull was insane. Needless to say, it was delicious. The lovely lady gave us extra salsa, even though it wasn't typical to ask for more.We got all our food for thirty bucks or so, which is kind of pricey for a street stand. Burrito = same price as chipotle for less toppings was a bit of a bummer, but tacos for $3 definitely standard. Would recommend this spot to someone looking for a yummy snack late at night.

Ok! I love how close they are to my house. My boyfriend has ordered the asada fries 8/10 and I order the al pastor tacos 8/10 and quesadilla 8/10. Their salsas 10/10! Everyone there is always so nice, and it's a nice place to eat after a night out!

Will forever go to this food truck when craving tacos. It's very convenient since it's near my house and good thing too because I was hungry and tacos were the only food on my mind. Upon ordering I asked for extra onions and cilantro and they did not hold back. It was also without charge! I got a whole bag of onions and cilantro for free! They also didn't skimp out on the sauces either, a whole bag of those were given to me too! I ordered 6 tacos and carne asada fries. The tacos themselves were so tasty and fresh. The meat was very tender and I would tell they were fresh off the stove. The limes were easy to squeeze and not hard unlike some others. It was flavorful and paired so well with the fries which were crispy and not soggy at all. The meat : fries : cheese ratio was perfect; not too much/too little of anything. Not shy on the cheese or meat which I was thankful for. Altogether this was a yummy meal that my family and I enjoyed together and would definitely be coming back to!

A great late-night option for those times when you didn't feel like paying the inflated food prices wherever you spent your day. The menu was a little confusing as it didn't have a listing of the different proteins, but you just have to ask. I got an al pastor quesadilla which was tasty and more filling than it looked. The cucumber and radish garnishes were a nice touch that cut the greasiness a little and helped to convince yourself that it was healthy. There was no line while I was there, and it took around 20 minutes for them to make it fresh. Recommended.

This isn't the start I'm giving the Business Owner ,this is just to get my review started. However,I did text Jose the owner to see were he'd be today 3/27/2023 Monday. I am reading so many awesome reviews and the quesobirria has kicked in as the craving, and you best believe it I have to fulfill it lol I'll be update later this evening with photos and etc.We ordered our food for here (eat by the truck) instead of to go ...And we ordered1Carne Asada Fries, 2quesobirria, 1chorizo Quesadilla $30 You don't have Cash ,Zelle it, don't got zelle ,Credit card, you ain't got credit card you ain't eating jkkk idk I'm just being funny . The liquor store may have that ATM $3dolla holla charge lolChorizo is not spicy at all YES!!!The Quesobirria man I can't even give it a 6****** since Yelp only gives 5*and it's very rare I give 5star reviews.Wait for the pics...I'm definitely r going to recommend eating here ,don't be hesitant just because it's a Food Truck and by a Liquor Store. you're good, eat in your car like another patron did.I promise you, you will not regret it. This will now be OUR go to night late Snacks and I'm letting everyone on here know ..go!!!!!!!All the food (tons we had) was very delicious and we had tons of left overs for either a late -late snack or tomorrow's lunch..Everything is fresh not dried or hard. Jose is very nice, and approachable, humble you can definitely tell and giving person and so was the young lady (yes young at heart) who took my order ..may they be safe tonight and every night..I'll be back!!!!

I love this taco truck, the friendly staff and food. So far I've tried the carne asada, pastor, birria and quesa birria. All of them are great. It would be nice if they had a restaurant though. Eating it fresh from the grill is the best but sometimes I have to bring it back home and it gets cold.

Loved the presentation, came cut up already with cilantro and cebolla, lemons were cut up too. Salsa's were okay. I got an Al Pastor quesadilla, for a business to consider themselves specializing in Al pastor... needs to be worked on. Not sure if I had a bad batch or something but that meat was weak. Looked like asada, nothing like a traditional Al pastorThe spot looks cool and good I just strongly advise staying away from the Al pastor. I'm gonna come back and get something de Asada and I think it'll be better.

"At Pinky's, pounds you'll gain.At Pinky's, pounds you'll gain. The food is delicious, hardly anything to complain.Nothing comes with rice, everything is perfectly spiced. At Pinky's, at Pinky's, pounds you'll gain, gain, gain, gain, gain." - parody of the theme to "Pinky & the Brain" On a hot Sunday night, my hunger wanted something impactful, yet cheap. I've had my eyes on Pinky's for awhile, so the stars aligned for my first visit.https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=KByM-eC20FaA-GBed8rUkA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Pondering upon what to order, I decided on good ol' tacos. Unfortunately, they did not have lengua or birria de chivo, so I went with a trio taco plate of al pastor, birria de res & cabeza-https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=8dJEzdcz7p3Y41XLwAQjAg&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Pinky's did not skimp on the meat. Accompanied by 4 sauces, slices of lime & pickled carrots/radishes, the tacos were hefty. Topped with onions & cilantro, I relished eating these tacos, my favorite being the oh so tender, oh so succulent cabeza. Quesabirria taco-https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Ng2e2iL276UCMg9TZr3BpA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA While chowing down on my trio of tacos on the hood of my car, the staff hollered at me to get my attention. Fortuitously, I was given their most popular item, the quesabirria taco, on the house. My picture/video taking probably had a part in that. Piping hot, the quesabirria taco was cheesy & a wonder to the senses. Again, a liberal amount of juicy birria de res, topped with onions & cilantro, encompassed by salty cheese. I can see why this is Pinky's bestseller. Nonetheless, I still give the nod to the cabeza taco as my favorite.https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=49wexIxh7j3FcRDYFLtKHw&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was excellent. This family-owned food truck had a friendly & hospitable young woman taking orders. I lucked out and was the only customer at the time, a couple people arriving after me. Pinky's Tacos is parked in front of the liquor store directly behind Planet Fitness. Stuffing my face with delicious tacos, the hood of my car as the dining table, I could nary think of a finer meal I've had, at the time. At $2.21 (current pricing), Pinky's Tacos' bona fides in Mexican street cuisine is unquestionable. Being so close to me, I'm looking forward to coming back & exploring the rest of the menu. Whatever I choose, I know I'll be greeted by a kind family, cheap eats, and a happy belly.Highly recommend!

We were craving for tacos on a Friday night so were determined to find a taco stand or truck- so glad we found Pinky's!!!! Their carnitas and asada tacos were so bombz and so was the asada fries (huge portion and really good). Really great service. Excited to have found our neighborhood taco truck! Tip: cash and Zelle only Tip: it's parked in front of the liquor store. Sometimes they have events but most days (all except Wednesday) they'll be here after 8pm.
