Picosito Mexican Grill

Picosito Mexican Grill impressed me with its charming new decor and attention to detail in decorating. The inviting atmosphere made it irresistible to dine in and savor my tacos inside the restaurant. The hibiscus Jamaican drink was a refreshing delight, perfectly complementing the flavorful Carne Asada and Pollo tacos that I ordered. I can't wait to return to this spot for more authentic Mexican cuisine and enjoyable moments with friends and family. Picosito Mexican Grill has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite places to dine.

Amazing food , your typical hole in the wall. We always get the carne asada plate or the breakfast burritos. 10/10

i see lots of people complain about the lady with short hair being rude. quit being so sensitive! she has been this way for years. she is very forward and straight to the point, i dont see it as rude. anyway, their carne asada burrito is my go to! their hot sauce is delicious and spicy! i even ordered a 6ft burrito for any event. their interior has improved and it gives it the umff it needed lol

Pretty solid 3---considering it's your average hole-in-the-wall place. For obvious reasons, (breakfast) my husband ordered the machaca plate & he rates it an 8 out of 10 for taste. He's had his lifetime share of this old time favorite breakfast item. It's completely unassuming. I chanced upon a recommendation from a Facebook group & I've bookmarked this place. Today, hubby felt like having "Mexican". There's a few dining tables/booths that can accommodate up to four people each. *Machaca with rice, salad. beans, 3 small flour tortillas-hubby approved , just the right portions, tortillas tasted fresh, salsa also. The meat was seasoned perfectly. It took twenty minutes for s single order but it was worth the wait for lunch time on a Saturday.*Price point, average, whatever one can call "average" nowadays *Customer service-the lady behind the counter barely paid any attention to my husband, did not acknowledge him until a line formed behind him, a definite negative in my book.Overall, for the food, we'll probably return to try other items. We took it to go because the ambiance was not conducive to dining, a bit cramped.

Honestly, the food is good but this business, post-COVID has never posted their hours. The hours listed on Yelp and Google are incorrect. From what I can tell they open each day at ~8am give or take a few minutes but they arbitrarily close early with no notice. Generally Sunday-Thursday they close at 8pm and Fri-Sat they close at 9pm. But I will frequently arrive before those times to find them closed. Tonight was especially frustrating. I tried calling from 7:10-7:20pm and the phone was off the hook. Usually they take phone orders until 7:30. I walk up at 7:25 and they are locking the door. For the sanity of your customers, just post your hours and make some sort of announcement anywhere (even a sign on the door) if you need to change them for an emergency. I cannot even count the number of times I've tried to buy food here and been unable to due to arbitrary closing early or not communicating the hours at all.When I have managed to successfully purchase food here I am missing items or get the wrong item (chicken taquitos instead of beef or the plate instead of the side order) about 25% of the time. I am always charged for what they give me so at least I'm not charged for something I didn't get but also means I'm sometimes charged for something I didn't want. The young woman who worked in the front before COVID and at the beginning of COVID was great but ever since she left, I've had problems. This place is literally around the corner from me so it's nice to order while I walk my dog and then pick it up on my way back home but if it weren't so convenient I'd probably have stopped even trying to support this business ages ago.

I used to come here since I was a little girl it's crazy how so much has changed.. the workers are always with attitude.. like if you don't like working here find another job.. and another thing I didn't like is that while we were sitting eating our food the lady decides to come to our table and move the chairs and start sweeping literally swept my feet .. disrespectful much.. the owner needs to here people with better customer service ..

My family and I love the food but I don't understand why the lady with the short haired lady has such a nasty rude attitude all the time. They're food is good but starting to become not worth going bc of her

The food is really good. I really recommend the food but the lady in front with the really short hair is never really nice. She's always seems upset or mad. I hate that I asked for extra salsa and I only get like three the salsa bar should always be open.

You can never go wrong with their tortas. Great service as well! Definitely would recommend

I love this place. I have been coming here ever since I was a little girl. My favorite is the sopes or fish tacos. They are definitely not stingy with their portions, lots of meat. Their burritos are amazing to have catered too.
