This is the best banh mi I've ever had. I went with the classic, and it did not disappoint. Amazing food, friendly staff, and there's even phone charging cables while you wait for your food. They've thought of everything.

Best Banh Mi I've had, even better than the ones I tried in Vietnam. The bread is actually not super hard like the standard ones we expected which was a plus. Owner was super nice and respectful and gave great recommendations.8.4/10 Taste9/10 Value

Food was delicious, prices are super reasonable, portions are huge, and the pickled cucumbers were delicious.Got 2 Banh Mi and 1 spring roll, everything was delicious. Authentic flavors, and loaded with fresh veggies! The owner and service was amazing as well. Will definitely be back!

Best Banh Mi I've had in the South Bay. Many shops are increasing prices and decreasing their portions, BUT NOT PICKLE BANH MI. Excellent deal and you get a HUGE Banh Mi sandwich compared to other places. It was my 1st time so I tried quite a few Banh Mi sandwiches including the classic combo, crispy pork belly, bbq pork, lemongrass beef, and crispy pork belly spring rolls. I wasn't a fan of the spring roll here so I wouldn't get it again personally, but I really enjoyed the banh mi and will definitely keep coming back here for it! Bread was not super hard which was a plus! Best fresh, but it was tasty to heat it up in the oven later as well!

$10 for a huge sandwich, yes please! I drive by multiple times a day, and the day finally came to break down and try it. Omg, 5* all the way.Small parking lot shared with other businesses is the only downside. For some reason, I thought this was mostly a take out spot. It was actually much bigger of a restaurant and has a decent amount of seating. I chose takeout and once I paid for my order, I was directed to a waiting area with phone chargers. Bonus points!!!As a 1st timer, the menu was a little overwhelming. Luckily, I just asked the gentleman helping me what I should try 1st and pork belly was suggested. Perfect suggestion! Can't wait to return and explore more of the menu.

The good:My neighbor recommended this bánh mi place to me and was kind enough to buy a few of their items for my to try. Their paper wraps for their sandwiches were trendy and convenient because they were a sleeve rather than a wrap. So, you could eat it out of the sleeve and have it all be contained. Their sandwiches are huge! This was probably the biggest banh mi I've had. I had the nem nuong rolls and really enjoyed these. The proportion of nem and vegetables were great and the Vietnamese herbs added a refreshing flavor. I tried the thit nguoi banh mi and the pork belly. I liked how the nem were cut into rectangular shapes and how nicely wrapped they were. The dipping sauce was also nice and I enjoyed it more than Brodard's viscous orange sauce. The bad:I wish the pickled vegetables were more sour. The baguette was good but not as light, airy and crispy as other banh mi baguettes I've had.The interesting:Don't confuse this with Mr. Pickles sandwich shop (non-Vietnamese sandwiches).

Stopped by to grab lunch today after seeing recommendations on Facebook and was not disappointed. We ordered..#1 Combination bahn mi, the baguette was tasty. The bread didn't overwhelm the sandwich and had the right amount of crisp. they didn't skimp on the meat. The pate was mild in my opinion, I am used to stronger tasting pate. Overall very yummy sandwhich #16 filet mingon lomo saltado bahn mi , boyfriend said the meat was delicious and the sauce it was paired with perfect in the sandwich Also order the Pork spring rolls and nem chua and both yummy. We ordered to go , but there is a small dining area to eat inside. For a Sunday the wait to get our food after paying wasn't bad and there were lots of customers coming and going. All staff members were very friendly and yes would definitely go back .

Parking lot in front. Service was friendly. One bathroom. Ordered the combination banh mi which was crunchy and fresh ingredients. And the milk tea was good on the sweeter side. All in all good to try out!

My go-to for banh mi in Long Beach, we don't have to drive to GG or Westminster for banh mi. I like the crispy pork belly and the classic. Their pastry pie and egg rolls are good too. The pineapple mint is really refreshing. The staff is nice and friendly. Free parking in the plaza.

I have always wanted to try a bahn mi I saw a few people eating them on TikTok and Instagram and wanted to see what those flavors would be like. Pickled Bahn Mi is located on a busy street and has a full parking lot the area is in the hood where some people tend to linger and mind their own business. The restaurant is clean and relaxed kinda mom and popish and as a new person trying to decide what to order the young man at the register wasn't very helpful and I ended up ordering a milk tea I didn't like despite describing what tea I prefer. I decided on a grilled crispy Pork Bahn Mi on a crispy baguette a small amount of crispy pork pate was extra they layered on crisp lettuce sliced cucumbers jalapeno peppers cilantro and pickled carrots. Crispy Pork Bahn MiI took a bite and the bread was absolutely delicious the pork was tasty seasoned well with crispy ends the pate was good and I like pate but just not warmed up -- the veggies were nice and added freshness to the Bahn Mi the jalapeno provide some heat and that was very nice I would order it again without pate it's tasty and needs a bit more meat. 8/10Tips. Ordering my pate on the side will be my next option that way it isn't warmed up I'll add it to my sandwich after it cools down. Thai Milk TeaThai milk tea lightly sweetened the color was an odd orange color possibly turmeric I didn't care for the flavor of the milk tea it was a strong no. 7/10 intersection just not my style. My thoughts. I will try another order of tea but ask for mine to be milky sweet and turmeric free. Coconut jello It smelled (herbal I think) but it looked ok I don't fault the people who made it and gave it 10/10 to be fair. This is my first experience trying Bahn Mi and I like to be respectful of another cultures food it's something my palate is not used too but I'm game in time I'll try more food and another Bahn Mi. The vibe. This restaurant has good reviews and was filled with people constantly ordering Bahn Mi this is an amazing extremely popular place filled with loyal customers who constantly greeted the young man at the restaurant counter. Give it a try and go see Pickle Bahn Mi for yourself .. Just me Shawn C.
