Came here on a Sunday around 4pm. Was seated quickly. And order was taken quickly. Only thing it was kinda warm inside.Ordered the brisket pho it was a good size and broth was good. Got the Thai tea with boba. Boba was chewy and drink was sweet. The mango lemonade was great a mix of tangy and sweet. But refreshing.Al in all, everything came hot and in order so good to try out.

Came here on a Saturday evening. Greeted and seated. Ordered two Pho Combo special. Was very tasty. Service was ok. The place itself is small but alittle bit on the grimmy side. Not bad, but you can sense it by touching the tables. Pros and ConsCons: This place is in the sketchy part of town. I don't feel safe at night going to the parking lot since it is by the alley. A bit on the ghetto side. Place can use alittle clean up and they can work on their customer service.Pros: This is one of the closest Pho places to my home. The quality food is good. This place stays later then other pho places. This is not my first spot to go to just because of the demographic location. But overall, the place doesn't dissapoint when it comes to taste.

I ordered the veggie pho They do have veggie broth how ever it was bland. They only offer fried tofu and I didn't like the consistency of it... the food came out fast. Quick service. The ambiance made it seem authentic. For the 15 bucks I was disappointed.

Brought my granddaughter here for the first time. She had never had Pho. My go to is the Rare Steak. We shared and she loved it. Also got the wings and an order of the spring rolls. She had the Coffee Boba to drink and I had the French Coffee with Creamer. All delicious

Been on the search for the best pho place in my area so tried Pho America. Dined here on a week day around 5pm. The restaurant was pretty empty so my party of 2 was able to be seated immediately. I had the veggie tofu pho while my husband tried their rare steak pho. I enjoyed the assortment of veggies and their broth. Broth was tasty; not too salty. My husband also enjoyed his rare steak pho. Will definitely be back.

One of my favorite Pho restaurants. Clean, with a pleasant atmosphere. Also, it's easy to get the servers attention, they are always looking around. I usually get veggie pho, but my favorite thing to order is the Beef Banh Mi sandwich ~ best I've ever had. Give it a try!

We pass by here all the time when coming from Signal Hill/Bixby Knolls back to DTLB, but truth be told, the name kinda turned me off (reminded me of a mall food court 'Asian' fast food shop with non-Asian workers)...but nope, Pho America is the real deal....serving up a good, piping bowl of beef pho. They have their own dedicated parking lot (with lockable gates), and the standalone building has plenty of indoor seating. There were already quite a few people dining in, when I stopped by around 11 on a Monday. I noticed that there was quite a few take-out and delivery orders as well, so good sign for the freshness of the ingredients.I was led to my seat, and placed an order for the combination pho, size large ($15). The hostess/waitress was attentive, and brought out a glass of water with lemon pretty quickly, along with the pho accompaniments that everyone is accustomed (really fresh bean sprouts, thai basil, jalapeno slices, and two lime wedges). Everything was super fresh, obviously just washed and sprinkled with water to keep vibrant. Strangely, a lot of pho places around this hot bed of Pho restaurants, serve mediocre, browned herbs. Not here...this was great, and a good clue for the quality of the rest of the meal. The steaming bowl came out a bit after, delivered directly from the kitchen by someone else (probably the gentleman who put the dish together). The bowl wasn't overly large, and everything was submerged under the piping hot broth (except for the sliced white onions and cilantro floating)...noticed immediately that it was pretty oily (which usually isn't a good thing for me). Took my first sip, acknowledged that it didn't need any more sauce just some herbs and fresh lime juice which I added. Each table already has utensils at each table, including forks if that is what you need. The noodles were clumped at the bottom, but a couple of twirls with one chopstick, then letting it sit for about a minute or so, then I really dug in. And it really came together...none of the separate ingredients stood out individually, but together, it ended up making a really, really good bowl of pho.It came with the requisite meats (really enjoyed the fatty brisket, and small amount of tripe....the rare steak wasn't great, but the tendon and beef balls were solid). By the time I was finished with the noodle, I still had broth left so asked for an extra order of noodles ($3 or so)...which was soon delivered in its own broth. I devoured that too.I paid at the front...they take credit card but offer a small cash discount. In/out in 40 minutes...still a little hungry, but happy that I had been wrong about the name and could add another good pho place to my list of rotating noodle shops.

Our soup wasn't hot. It took a long for our red meat to fully cook into our soup. I looked over the other table and their soups were steaming hot. I've been here before the pandemic and their food used to be great. The man who had an unpleasant behavior. I tried tipping 20%. The tip amount was set higher on his handheld POS system. When I changed it, he smacked his lips and got upset. I won't be returning.

My friend suggested this place for a gathering. Based on the other reviews, we both selected pho, but I also ordered the Vietnamese swai spring roll as an appetizer. The amount of noodles in a regular size bowl was significantly more than most of the pho establishments I've been to--at least twice as much. The broth was pretty good, but not the best I've had. The condiments were fresh, and there were plenty of steak and tendon in the bowl. I love how tender the tendon was.The spring roll was surprisingly good. Each roll was huge, and the rice wrap was chewy in a good way. The fish taste really came through. The staff was friendly, but he's on his phone most of the time while we were there. It was a slow Wednesday evening at the restaurant. There was plenty of parking in the relatively large private lot, and the air conditioning kept our dining experience pleasant on this hot summer day.

I was sick and I didn't have the energy to make chicken noodle soup so I thought about getting pho. I heard that pho had some type of healing qualities so I ordered some to-go. I ordered the grilled chicken pho because I wanted chicken noodle soup. It's basically the same thing but Asian. It was my first time having chicken pho, but let me tell you! It was fire! The chicken was nice and juicy, and has flavor from being grilled. The broth was clean and the taste was there. Definitely not watered down at all. Cured my sickness for sure. They got my food ready real quick. Told me it would be ready in 7 minutes over the phone when I ordered. Fast and easy pickup. Will definitely come back to eat there.
