Early New Years Eve, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs delivered. They answered the phone even on a busy night and let me know the meatballs are all beef. It arrived piping hot, loaded with delicious meatballs. The sauce is on the sweet side, just the way I like it. I wish they had included the utensils I requested and maybe a red pepper packet. All in all, a home run.UPDATE: Ordered again, and they delivered again. Just perfect. Great food, delivered piping hot.

Ok, well 4.5 stars may be a touch of a stretch...Could be a great little hole in the wall Italian place IF they hired servers. The young man that waited on us was nice but not trained in the art of being a server. 1) Took a LONG time for them to ask us for drinks and longer for them to finally arrive. 2) No bread till 3/4 of the way through our meal. 3) Never received the water we asked for. I would put this as a 3 star max, only because the food was half decent. I would suggest hiring a server that has experience and you might do better.

Finally found an Italian restaurant that reminds me of my favorite place in New Jersey. I feel like East Coast Italian just hits different. Their carbonara is really a pink sauce but is my FAVORITE dish. We also got their clams in white sauce with linguine and the clams tastes very fresh and the brothy sauce was delicious! Their alfredo sauce was a huge hit with my kids and their chicken piccata was super yummy. I also order their calamari and it's really tasty as well. It is a little on the expensive side (of course I'm comparing it to the super cheap calamari at Quality Seafood lol) but the marinara they serve with it is great! Even if you order take out (I've actually only ever gotten take out), the noodles are the perfect texture and the food is PIPING HOT! So happy I discovered this place!

The food was decent. The ambiance was fair. The service was good. I thought the price was a bit steep for the what we got, but not outrageously so.

After dinner I was really craving for tiramisu today. Checked rating here at yelp - looks good! Ordered 2pc via uber eats - there were 2 tiny pieces, moreover horrible tasteless frozen pieces of something, cannot even call it tiramisu. Very disappointed this is a crime to sell, or give even for free anything like that! Never ever again

Searching for a place to cater an event and was told about this place. Small restaurant in a strip mall next door to massage parlor. We ordered two meals and I also asked to taste the pasta marinara as an option to cater. We were served bread and an olive oil & herb dip. I ordered Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken and my friend ordered the Capellini Special. They were both good. Hers was excellent. The Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken was somewhat boring. It needed either spinach or basil or something to add color contrast. The pic shows it all. There was a lot of chicken, which was impressive. Fresh parmesan cheese would have been nice as well. We requested separate checks and had to remind the server and our orders were mixed up. Gulp!! We also got some wrong information on catering, which was unfortunate. I would definitely will return but will not be using them for my event. Ok, bye

OUR NEW GO TO ITALIAN RESTAURANT! It' has a small, comfy, cozy feel to it. The waiter we had was funny and super nice! We're food fanatics so we were so excited to try everything. Everything in the pictures were only for 2 people! Appetizers: Mozzarella sticks and fried calamari were superb! The marinara sauce with it was the perfect acidity that it needed for both items! Entrees: My husband got the spaghetti with meat sauce and he was very VERY pleased! It's hard to please him because he's so picky about his spaghetti, but he ate his WHOLE PLATE,"... and then some. I got the carbonara spaghetti and it was my first time trying that pasta dish and boy was it so good! It was so creamy and the full of flavor. The mushrooms had a nice bite to it, I definitely will make that my regular go to dish.Pizza: We got the bbq chicken pizza and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The bbq chicken pizza was soooooo good. The bbq sauce wasn't overpowering anything. All the flavors blended well together. The chicken and the cheese complimented each other so well. Overall, everything was so good! The ambiance feels nice and the atmosphere was pleasant! If you love pasta and pizzas you should definitely try this place! They have a lot of items to choose from so there's literally something for everybody!

Wanted to try a local restaurant and we really tried to like this joint since the people were nice but there are factors that made it hard to want to come back.1. The to-go orders are cash only, which is kind of inconvenient for first time customers like myself and my partner. They charge an additional $1.50 for card transactions which is fine but they also upcharge the empanadas to $3.99 from $2.99 if you're paying card, which is no big deal but it would be better if it was put in the sign in the first place.2. We also ordered sprite in our order and she asked us if we would want it now or with the order later as she was about to get the bottle of sprite, we told the person we'd like to get it with our order later and once we got our order it seems like they poured the small bottle of sprite into a smaller cup with a lot of ice instead of the plastic bottle originally, which is misleading and kind of disheartening.3. All of my concerns would easily be trumped if the food we got was actually good but sadly it wasn't. The pizza was very crunchy but not a good kind of crunch- it was giving stale, reheated pizza crust. It was so hard that the crust is breaking when you fold it, it felt like we were eating cardboard boxes. And we waited 20 minutes for our order. The slices were kind of too small for the big box they came in, so it's also disheartening to open it. It's giving middle school cafeteria pizza. The empanadas were ok though, but the dough is kind of hard and crunchy. It I personally don't prefer empanadas like that. The meat inside is good but would be better if the bread around the meat is does not taste overcooked.

Food was good. We had two pizzas and each ordered our own pastas. No complaints on the food. Service, however, was slow. First time here so I'm not sure if this is typical or if it was just a busy time. Came in before dinner rush on the weekend and we waited an hour and a half for our entrees. Waited at least 30 minutes for the check after asking for it. It was for my mom's birthday so we were a little upset that the food was taking so long. Not sure I would come back due to the wait time even though the food was good.

What a huge disappointment this place was. It's a small, outdated Italian restaurant in an old, nondescript plaza but my husband spotted it scrolling through Yelp looking for new restaurants to try. I'll start with the good: the woman running the place appeared to be a one woman operation but she was attentive and service was quick. Their bread and garlic oil were decent and served before entrees. I was surprised that there were no dine in lunch specials offered, only a couple to go options, which seemed like it could use to bring in customers. The bad: be prepared to be sticker shocked at the menu prices. Their prices are in line more with upscale or higher end restaurants than the below average, outdated mom and pop place that it actually is. Don't get me wrong, my husband and I LOVE old, outdated mom and pop places, since that's where you often find the best food and hidden gems. We're both LA natives so we grew up with and continue to patronize several across LA. We are also small businesses owners ourselves and like to support local mom and pops. We understand how difficult it is to compete in our current economy which is why we were both not only shocked by the prices but also by the food. In all fairness, I saw the prices while perusing the menu and I couldn't imagine the food being on par but I also didn't want to be rude by leaving so I hoped for the best. I ordered a pepperoni pizza which was $20 for 4 little slices that honestly looked and tasted like it was purchased from the frozen section at smart and final. I was floored. The crust was like cardboard and the sauce had no flavor. I've truly had better pizza for half the price at a little league snack bar. I wish I took a picture to show you how small it was. It was the size of a small plate. So basically it came out to $5 a slice. INSANE! We also had a $4 empanada, the chicken tasted old and boiled. My husband had shrimp fettuccine that was not bland and aesthetically looked terrible. It was $25! Our bill, including tax and tip came out to $70! No joke! Let's not forget the place is in MAJOR need of updating and TLC. It looks like an old, outdated spot from the 60's that no one ever cared enough about updating. It's dark and abysmal. So for us to spend $70 for two for lunch?! Never again. I left feeling cheated and upset and honestly sick that we just wasted our hard earned money on this place. We dine out daily, either lunch or dinner, we always dine out. So to offer scale, here's a few comparisons. A few days before, we had an AMAZING lunch at Bettolino Kitchen, 5 minutes away. We had pistachio crusted halibut with mascarpone mashed potatoes, shrimp fettuccine, and a soft drink for the SAME PRICE! And this is top notch, quality, farm to table, chefs kiss food. THE SAME PRICE! We also enjoyed two Benihana's lunch specials including fried rice and two soft drinks for $60! Steak, chicken, shrimp, fresh vegetables for less! I can go on and on. The point is save your hard earned money. If you like Italian, either Bettolino Kitchen or Gaetanno's (both a 5 minute drive) are exponentially better, in quality and price! Unbelievable and sad.
