I've been going to Perry's most of my lifetime, but I'm going to have to accept the fact the food is just not the same. Just ordered a medium pizza with double cheese. It doesn't even have a single cheese topping on it. It's like eating cardboard. I'm sorry Perry's. Little Ceasar's makes a cheesier pizza. Time for me to move on.

I ordered thru Doordash--- I wasn't too thrilled with my order. im not sure if it is under new ownership but i purchased the BOGO 1 Topping Pizza thick crust and I got a sicilian pizza cut into 12 pieces split in half into 2 boxes as my BOGO. if this is supposedly "thick" crust then you need to advertise it as a sicilian. cause thats what was given to us. i wonder what i would have got if i picked thin crust. ggeezz. we also ordered the Spaghetti Regular BOGO. IT WAS GROSS, SOUR AND RANCID. I will probably not order from here again.

As wonderful as the service was, the food, unfortunately just wasn't. The pizza was old and stale. The soup and salad not much better. I really would love to support a local business like this, especially where the people were so great, but I would've happily waited for fresh pizza. Unfortunately, unfortunately, not worth returning for.

My husband found this pizza place near Bank of America on Knott.We had medium Supreme pizza yesterday in Long Beach but we wanted to try this place today.It looked so slow inside and parking lot.The menu is not clear for the 1st visitor just like us. We asked the staff at the cashier, we like thick pizza and she recommended the square pizza w Supreme called Lotsa over there. To be honest, I liked the real Italian square pizza in Rome. They sell the pizza by weight in the huge square pizza pan. I can choose the weight how big I want and tastes amazingly yummy. I expected just like Rome.However, the pizza turned out like fast food Pizza Hut square pizza, tasted bread raised about 1 inch, not the pizza taste, and I also found the dough was not completely baked, half raw!!!! I got dissapointed.I told the staff, our pizza was not completely baked. I showed my slice of pizza, raw. She told us, if you want well done, ask us when you order. What the hell???Is this steak at the steak restaurant?I am at the pizza restaurant. The dough was so thick, the chef didn't adjust the baking time. They make the pizza all the time. Half was raw....speechless.And she didn't say sorry, took the pizza tray back and gave us 10 mins later.They didn't make a new one, just reheated in the oven.Wow!!! OMG!!!! What kind of service!!I got so upset and became speechless.I had bad luck to find another pizza restaurant. Because I noticed the pizza we really liked for months in LB, they finally changed the recipe and ingredients somehow. That is why my husband and I decided to find another pizza place today.Bad luck!!! This is not the pizza, this is italian bread w pizza toppings. Medium pizza Lotsa, over 5 toppings like Supreme was $25.99. So small, Raw dough, not completely baked, the service was terrible. First I'd like to point out the positive. The Caesar salad was delicious! Really. It was high end restaurant quality. However, that was the only positive thing I have to say about this visit. We've been here multiple times over the past 16 years. My husband has been eating here since he was I. High school. His bicycle was stolen from out front when he was a teenager. Circa 1980 something. Back to the experience. The young gentleman taking our order was curt and rushing us. We ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, an early bird special with spaghetti, cheese ravioli and meat sauce, plus a Caesar salad and two sodas. The spaghetti and ravioli came out and the same young gentleman proceeded to take our table number so we stopped him and asked about our salad and other entree. He said oh okay. He left the table and close to 10 min later he delivered the salad. Again attempting to take the table number. We asked what about the spaghetti. He looked confused. My husband mentioned it's a little late now and I can share part of his meal. The guy said he could make it to go. While we weren't thrilled we agreed. 15 min later we were done eating and still no spaghetti entree. We went to the counter and were assisted by a young lady. She did help us get a refund but was very indifferent about the situation. While she was helping us a kitchen coworker popped off and said maybe I can say I'm the manager. We weren't really sure what he meant by that, but it seemed directed at us. We are very fair and always aware of the environment and give room for what else is going on. It was a little busy, but not what I would consider overly busy. We both worked in the restaurant industry when we were younger and I feel we often give more grace than most. Overall it made us rethink going again anytime soon. I hope they see this and make some adjustments. We had spent $50 for two people and included a 15% tip when full table service isn't even offered.

Been a long week & I tried the app (TooGoodtoGo) was treated to 4 giant squares of pepperoni - I was not expecting that - almost deep dish style - I enjoyed the sauce & the Pepperoni wasn't too salty - the place had some TV's for sports with beers on tap & the staff was super friendly - they gave me a menu with coupons for later and would like to come back and try some more - so for now - a great customer experience!

They are expensive. The service sucked, I had to drive back and get part of the order and they were rude about fixing it. Like I am the one who forgot to pack it in the order. The pizza was okay. I remember it being better.

I don't know who's the guy in behind the front counter, but it seem like he just wanted to give me my order, and leave. I told him this was my first visit and found them on another app. Pizza definitely worth the value. They have a scratcher machine. Big dining area.

This is only on review of takeout but the food was just like I remembered. The lady at the counter was friendly and efficient in taking the order and offering suggestions. We had the spaghetti with meat sauce lunch special along with an order of garlic knots. Omg the garlic knots are a whole meal in themselves so good so tasty and so fresh. Can't wait to try them again!

We are new to Garden Grove and we are looking for a good pizza place, we decided to try this place out. The inside is big and spacious. It was clean and the staff were ok. We order Dave's special, when we got our food the Wedges and wings were ok, our pizza on the other hand was a disappointment. We ordered round pan and we got square. The dough was undercooked. Over it we only had 2-3 slices and had to box the rest up. Hoping I can pop it in my home oven and try again. Unfortunately we won't be returning.
