On occasion, you will find some basic Chinese vegetables also in the bins.Priced at a discount, they will also sometimes have older hens for sale that are great for stock making.No longer a cash-only business, you can use your ATM or Credit Card.Arrive early for the best selection because they close at 3 pm. Shopping on weekends and you may not get a completely fresh hen.

Bought a fresh Peking duck and was amazed at the quality and good service. Price was reasonable ($19) for right under 5 lbs. It was plucked and smelled clean/fresh. There was a bit of a smell in the market itself but nothing too bad. It included the head and feet but not the liver/gizzards. Definitely will come back for more!!

This is a hidden gem in Chinatown! Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, my boyfriend and I have been going on walks in the neighborhood and trying to support local businesses. We stumbled upon this little market tucked away on the corner of a busy street.Though the sign reads poultry, they sell way more than that. They have a nice selection of veggies, meat, seafood, beverages, and Chinese condiments. It's more like mini grocery store if you ask me. I thought this place would be small and cramped, but it's actually clean and nice.

I was highly intrigued by this place. Being Chinese we like anything we eat to be FRESH! So, hubby said "let's go in here and check it out". I heard chicks and ducks 'cheeping' and 'quacking' in a distance so I thought hmmm, MUST be fresh. As I made my way closer to the entrance of this store, I could smell that awful stench of an open wet market in Asia where they kill the poultry. My sixth sense kicked in where I would start breathing through my mouth instead of my nostrils, but often I'd forget and catch a whiff of this disgusting stench and my gag reflex went into full gear. Inside, there was very fresh poultry as well as live swimming fish. Impressive! There was also fresh vegetables! More than impressive. The smell was seriously getting to me and I thought I was going to throw up. I informed hubby that I had to get out of there before I actually vomited and ran out of there.OK, if I could handle the smell I'd go and purchase my poultry from this place. I mean it can't get any fresher than this! One star off for the DAMN SMELL!!

I've been coming here to get my turkeys to fry for three years now. Always very fresh. They have plenty of other selections of meat, fish and poultry to choose from. Yes it's a little more expensive, but what you're getting is fresh.

Love this place. It is pretty clean, prices are great, staff is nice, and the quality is great. Also they have a pretty good selection compared to other butchers nearby.

Yes I have been here.This place is off the Hook.Here is the Deal People.You walk into a Large Front Room with Tall Cages full of Live Chickens. Ducks, Birds ect.You tell the man which one you would like.They take the Live Chicken into the back room, and Choke your ChickenDress it and then Strip off the feathers ect.About ten minutes later they hand you a Warm Fresh Premium chicken in a Plastic bag.I Know this sounds Gross but If you take this Chicken home and Cook it and It is By Far the Best tasting, Juiciest Chicken you will ever have.There is Always A Line Here so That tells you somethingYou have been Warned.

You'll know you are in the right place when the Latino guy at the counter is speaking Chinese to the customers in front of you.If you want a FRESH chicken, guinea hen, duck or rabbit this is the place to go. It's not fancy inside, but freshness and quality can't be matched.

I was directed here because we were searching for garlic and didn't seem to find. Yet, we did find a place where there is fresh poultry. Wow! I was surprised to see pictures of birds that could be my lunch or dinner in matter of a short time. Also, there were fish in a water tank ready to be someones lunch or dinner as well. Pretty cool. Oh, and this is another local business that has a private parking lot.

Over priced and some items don't even look fresh. $13 each for one tiny Squab. Not worth the money plus not cleaned while you wait...Pre-cleaned. Not what I expected
