I love this place. I'm allergic to shell fish so for a long time i havent been able to eat the chips they give you before the food in a lot of restaurants. When they brought out some for us here i kept just wanting some but i couldn't because most place only have one oil cooker and they fry shrimp in it. The cook took it upon him self to cook me a fresh batch of chips with guacamole and beans. I enjoy it so much. Its hard to find service like that now and days. The food is super good , the prices for the serving sice are very good. Definitely recomend this place. Sorry i didnt take pics I couldnt wait and ate it right away.I ordered:Asada plate with rice and beans and a side egg on top.Also a carnita tacoMy wife got:A two some plate with rice and beans and horchata Over all a 10 out of 10

What happened?I used to love coming to this place. It was friendly and the food was good. Came in last Saturday, no greeting no thank you and food was terrible for the price restaurants charges now it's a shame. Oh well.

Ooh weee my cousin took me to lunch for some yummy Mexican food. I ordered a steak quesadilla and it was delicious! This is the old Pizza Hut in Bixby Knolls. But now it's very much different in the inside. Very old school vintage car or classic car vibes. Service was pretty good. Everyone was nice! Will be back to try more beans

Ok I've been passing by this place for a while and finally today I got to try it. It was actually pretty good. Large portions! Price was reasonable. We didn't get to dine in. Took it home and it held up well. Tacos are huge! Mole was good and had lots of chicken. Sorry no pics !

This is the Mexican answer to a greasy spoon diner. You order at the counter, and the order is delivered to the table. The food is simple yet satisfying, served in a no-frill fashion.The caldo de res was rich and I love the fact that there's a whole plate of toppings that you may deploy at your discretion, including three slices of avocado. The accompanying corn tortilla were store-bought.I became very thirsty after lunch, which could mean that the food is over-salted or contained MSG. I don't regret eating it though. I was a pretty happy camper.The cafeteria-style furniture was a little uncomfortable, but most of the customers didn't seem to mind it. My bony butts was getting sore after a while, but the cushioned chairs at the bench rammed my knees directly into the metal beam under the table.The price is right though for a quick bite.

Friendly & helpful staff. Weekday lunch time can get busy = food's delicious & fresh. Ample seating. Many salsa options. Parking lot in the back.

Omg. I am mad at everyone I have ever met here in Long Beach for not telling me about Patrica's sooner. I stopped by for lunch and... I drooled when I saw the menu. I went with the Camarones al ajo. Yummy! Guacamole, beans, rice... all good. Even the soda fountain Coke was great. Highly recommend and will be back!!!!

The shrimp tacos were chewy and unseasoned. The chicken soup was essentially water with a chicken wing inside of it.

It has been a number of years since our last visit to Patricia's. Our loss.The menu is large, featuring many options. My wife ordered 2 tacos; Asada & Carnitas. I ordered a carnitas burrito. Be aware that portion control is not observed at Patricia's.Our meals were terrific! Generous portions of delicious meat. Tasty salsa.The dining area is typical of any fast food restaurant and the service the same.Worth the time and money.

Whenever we are in the area, we come here for a great Mexican meal. Nice well combined plates freshly cooked and big portions. It is a family own business and the owner is always there. Him and his staff are very friendly and professional. The ambiance is home like.
