This coffee shop is located right by the court house and in the Compton neighborhood There's plenty of parking outside There's lots of space to sit to chat or work insideThe aesthetic is clean, and lots of plants inside. For a small local coffee shop They have a good selection of coffees, teas, and pastries. I got the cafe de olla iced with oat milkIt was so delicious too the last drop. It was creamy, nice hint of cardamom I will definitely be back!

This was a super small cafe! Parking was super limited and the cafe was not busy. The staff were super friendly and the service was extremely fast.We ordered the Vanilla Bean Iced Latte and the Hazelnut Iced Latte and both were really tasty. They both had a lot of flavor, but the vanilla latte could have been a bit more creamy! When we got there they didn't have a great selection of snack items to choose from so we only got the coffee. This cafe is a bit far from us so we unfortunately wouldn't be back unless we were in the area, but we are glad that we went to try it out!

Friendly servers, good prices, and good quality drinks and food. There's a little parking lot in the back/side of the shop to park in. The shop itself is on the smaller side, with maybe five small tables that will fit two people each. Walking in, I was greeted by the worker and I was able to ask her questions on what she recommends. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I ended up ordering the hot chocolate and a vegan coffee cake to go with it. I waited barely over five minutes to get my drink and cake! The hot chocolate was Mexican style, so it was rich and had a lot of flavor to it which I loved. I didn't expect much from the coffee cake because it was vegan (sorry), but it was really good! Definitely was on the heavier and denser side, but still was good and I liked the sugary stuff on top. If I'm ever in the area I would drop by here for a quick treat!

I ordered the Ibarra Mex Mocha, which was pretty good. This is a nice small coffee shop with a hip vibe with decent amount of seating. The staff is friendly and is able to handle a big crowd and online orders. They really love their job and enjoy conversations with their customers, that was really nice to see.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon to get some tea and coffee and to check this place out. I am not a coffee drinker so I got their Citrus Chamomile ($4) iced. It was very refreshing, but I'm not sure I could taste the citrus part of it. Way more Chamomile in my opinion. My husband got an Americano with a Cafe De Olla syrup ($3.75). The syrup tasted like a horchata! So combined with the coffee, which had a nice layer of cinnamon on top, my husband thought it was delicious. It was also iced. The menu isn't extensive, but they have a good selection of coffee and syrups. They also have a kids section with hot chocolate and slushies.There's some chairs and tables inside for people to relax and sit down. The cashier was really friendly and helped us pick out something she thought we'd like. They also offer baked goods like big chocolate chip cookies and breads but we didn't try any.Parking is easy as there's a lot next to them.

Pretty good coffee- cortadito is especially good. Fantastic service. About 5-6 small tables- quiet for work/reading. Not really a chatty vibe when we went.Small lot to the side. Just be cautious of not leaving any valuables in the car as there were some sketchy people when we parked Would come back when in the area, but nothing I've craved since

Omg! I've been around a time or two trying different lattes and so far patria has gained the #1 spot for an iced vanilla latte in my book. It's flavorful without being overpowering, it's sweet without giving you instant diabetes, and it's strong without making you feel like you're going through caffeine overdose.

I work at the Compton Courthouse and didn't want to drive to Starbucks. My colleague did a search for a coffee place within walking distance and Patria came up, so we walked the three or so blocks. It's a small business and I don't believe it's a chain. I ordered the quad shot with sugar free vanilla and light ice. It was perfect! The person at the counter was very patient with this "novice" and the ambiance was extremely cozy and comfortable. But the MVP was this amazing cookie! It's chocolate chip, salt and several types of nuts. The lady warmed it up a little and I loved it! 10/10, highly recommend. Patria will definitely be my go to from now on.

We went to Patria Coffee Roasters located in Compton, CA. After hearing many good reviews, we felt like we had to explore this coffee shop! The coffee show is P.O.C owned and roasts their own coffee!We ordered their iced Cafe de Olla with oatmilk! This drink contains cinnamon. The first few sips of the drink were pretty pleasant, capturing the hint of spices inside the drink. We thought the piloncillo flavor was very strong. The drink wasn't overly sweet and stayed true to the coffee taste. The drink was decent and a usual go-to drink. It was enjoyable.We also got the iced Ibarra Mex Mocha. This drink is very bitter as they use natural chocolate. There is a hint of sweetness to the drink, but it falls more to the stronger side of bitter flavors. Along with the bitter chocolate is the coffee adding more bitterness to the drink. The drink is very silky from the milk, which makes it good in texture.We enjoyed the drinks we had and would recommend this location if in the area, but because we are reviewers, we will admit that we were not "wow-ed."Their pastries were good, providing their own pastries. We ordered a passion fruit and lemon danish.This location was very friendly and appreciated the message for diversity, which makes the place worth venturing. If you do go, let us know what you tried.

Just don't get the flash brew. They pour hot coffee over ice, which dilutes the flavor and caffeine
