I'm a huge fan of bang for your buck ie $15 lunch for all you can eat buffet but don't expect the best quality food. Anywhere you look now, it's at least $15 for a lunch that may fill you up. So $15 lunch buffet is really a steal. This buffet is located in the same plaza as 24 hour fitness with a BOA in the front and there's plenty of parking. The food is typical of American style buffets with food ranging from basic salads, pizza, fried chicken, to roast beef, swai filet, and the best of all the custom Mangolian Beef chef. The food and options during lunch was ok for the price however it looks like the dinner hour there are more selections for seafood. So although I honestly wouldn't come back for the lunch, it is an extremely affordable option that will definitely fill you up. I would consider coming back for dinner if I can confirm they have more seafood selections.

Now, I'm not usually one to go to buffets because very often buffets tend to do very many things poorly and very few things right. However, today I was especially feeling like going to a buffet. As I entered, it was layout was just like any other buffet. The line was almost out the door so I am sure that with this rush, the food will be fresh. (I actually got it the door shortly after I got in line). All the staff was absolutely friendly starting from the host all the way to the bussers. The bussers were amazing they greeted me they picked up all the dirty dishes very quickly. They even offered me a cup of tea near the end of my meal they were amazing every staff that I met there was outstanding. In regards to the food, there are certain things that were OK and others that were outstanding. I felt that the shellfish were on the verge of being overcooked and they were under seasoned. The same went for the fried rice. The sushi and the fried crab were pretty decent .The pot roast was well seasoned and super tender, their prime rib was perfectly medium, and it was well seasoned. However, the au jus was too salty, and I think that it would have been better without the dip. The fried chicken was amazing, which is quite surprising because it was on par with certain chicken wing spots. And finally, the Mongolian barbecue, which takes center place. There was a long line, and I think that the beef was slightly well done, however, that is how I personally liked it. And I believe that you could let the cook know if you want to have cooked a bit less. But it seemed pretty typical of other Mongolian barbecue. I personally think that it is actually pretty good. They have plenty of desserts, one of which is a soft serve, which I admit was a hint grainy (ice crystals) , but not too bad. However, the banana cream pie was very good.Overall, I felt like that this place did more things right than wrong and would be a buffet that I would not mind taking friends to who are a little bit more discriminate about the quality of their food.PS there is a military / veteran discount

Came here with my BF's family to celebrate CNY. lines were pretty long but I think the place is well run so it goes by fairly quick ish. The way you are served reminds me of Vegas style buffets. First come first serve regardless of party. You line up in front of the register and give your party total, pay, and wait to be seated. Minus 1 star because of the major discrepancy on free birthday buffet voucher. After reading the Yelp review, it's kinda all over the place. The photo of the birthday requirement said free birthday meal with accompanying group of 3 paying adults. Why did the cashier force us to pay for a drink for birthday person? Minus 1 star for dirty plates and utensils. Inspect the dish you grab cuz I found one with rice and other food debris while another was soapy. One spoon had cream on it will. Service was excellent, they came around frequently to clear our plates. However, place was on the warm side which made eating not very comfortable. I'm assuming they had AC off because it was cold outside but we need air circulation!!! Food was pretty decent for the price. Sushi was good, the sushi rice not the greatest. Salads were tasty but the pre made ones were so heavily dressed. Jello was tasty but on the firm side. All the meats we got were pretty good. Seafood boil was hit or miss, my shrimp was wayyyy over cooked but mussels were good. Chicken wings and pork ribs were my favorites. Desserts were typical buffet quality. There were 4 cake options, all were tasty but on the dry side. Apple pie was like supermarket cheap quality but still tasty. Cheesecake was more like mousse texture. Skip the ice cream toppings. No one manages it so the kids get their fingers all over them! Would I come back? Sure... Only of the majority was a cheap buffet.

When you first enter, it looks very clean and the dishes look appetizing. Went there for a weekday lunch at 11. Had some of the clams which tasted delicious. Tried their spicy seafood mix with shrimp and mussels. The shrimp were big but they weren't fresh. It seemed like they had been cooked the day before. It was disappointing. The panko fried shrimp is mislabeled as salt and pepper shrimp. Wish it were indeed salt and pepper shrimp. I didn't try their cook to order grill. I think that this is the best way to enjoy this restaurant. They have a large selection of cakes. Their fresh fruit was just okay They offer senior discount and early bird pricing.Went again for 2nd time and tried the cook to order grill. One advice when piling up your ingredients is to start with the sauces first in the bottom of the bowl and then select your ingredients. For some reason I prefer the grill at Hokkaido buffet.

Overall, pleasantly surprised! And buffets aren't my thing. Service was excellent and overall the place felt clean! There were tons of options here and most of the things I tried were decent! I'd skip the sushi personally. Loved the amount of dessert here too.For 32$ for two people we got full.Nothing here leaves me wanting to come back for more but I would recommend it to buffet lovers.

My 2nd time at a Paradise Buffet. My 1st time at this location in Garden Grove. I really, really like this buffet brand and both locations I've been to were both consistently good. Though they don't have as many items as the Flaming Buffet brand, I like the food at Paradise Buffet better. There's more American food choices too. The Mongolian grill is very impressive as they don't have basic vegetables. I really enjoyed the pot roast that is similar to Golden Corral's, my Mongolian grill creation was fire, Chicken wings were hot and fresh, beef and broccoli was on point (beef was textured and tender), and they have whole jalapeños, yummm!!!Sushi selection is good. They had 2 vegetable sushi rolls available. However, if you are truly vegetarian or have seafood allergies, just beware of cross contamination bc I got the vegetable rolls and they had a few specks of tobiko (orange roe eggs) on it. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose, but just beware (otherwise, you may need to use your Epi Pen)!!Service was great. They were fast at filling our water cups and collecting dirty plates. Dessert selection is plenty and I especially love, love, love that they had cotton candy!! It was so good and made fresh, I ended up eating 5. Overall, a really good buffet to take a big group of people.

You really can't beat the lunch price here! Good variety of food with options that cater to all customers. It's the regular American and Asian food options at typical buffets. Star of the meal was the sushi though! The sushi rice was not hard and dry like most buffet places and was surprisingly fresh. The sushi station had a good amount for the rolls and they even have a sashimi station with raw options also. A plus for the grill area along with the big salad bar! Service is kind and staff come by often to clear any plates. Family friendly environment with a lot of seating available. You definitely get your moneys worth if you choose to stop here!

This was our first time to Paradise Buffet, and it won't be our last! My boyfriend and I thought it was fabulous... From the fresh food, to the amazing selection, we would highly recommend it. Our server Juan was fantastic. . From his attention to detail and customer service, he exceeded our expectation. If you can, request to sit in his section - he will treat you with the best caring attitude! Paradise Buffet was clean, our used plates were picked up quickly and all the employees we interacted with were pleasant and so helpful!

Food is really good, lots of options and different types of foods. The service is amazing, our server (Cheli) always came in handy for anything we needed. Many different options for dessert as well, (ice cream, cookies, cakes, cotton candy, pie, etc). The tables and counters are always clean, as well as the bathrooms. This is certainly the best buffet I have ever been in! Will come again!!
