Delicious sushi inside and out! Food ~ 4/5 STARS avoid ordering the oysters as they had shell pieces in them and tasted like rotten fish. I was looking forward to having good tasting raw oysters. All of the other raw and cooked orders of food we had were delicious. Service ~ 5/5 STARS. The serves were quick to help and explain any item on the menu. Ambiance ~ 4/5 STARS The new chairs and booths offer a more romantic ambiance than from the past. The booths are nice but could use a little padding.

Things to know before you go: - It's a small place with relatively few tables. - It fills up quickly. I arrived at 6:00 p.m. on a Sunday and seated immediately. By 6:30 p.m., all of the tables were occupied with people waiting outside to be seated. My advice is to avoid peak times unless you don't mind waiting for a table. - It does not have a sushi bar. Ordinarily, if you want omakase, you will want to sit at the sushi bar, and chef will present to each piece of nigiri one at a time. That's not going to happen here. Also, the sushi chefs are not even visible; all of the food is prepared behind the scenes. - The parking lot is probably too small for the number of businesses located in the center it occupies. The parking lot was completely full when I tried to go there on a weekday during daytime business hours. Having said all that, it just might be my now favorite place for sushi in Tustin: - I ordered Albacore, Salmon, Blue Fin Tuna, and Yellowtail nigiri. All of it was excellent and well prepared. I washed the meal down with a large Sapporo as one does. - The service was excellent. I would say friendly, attentive, and on the ball. - The prices are reasonable. Cheers!

Serious about good salmon sushi? Try this place out. Not only do they have very generous salmon cuts and portions, it's some of the most flavorful salmon around here, and I've tried just about every sushi place nearby. Their sashimi cuts in general are nice and sizable in proportion too, so it feels and tastes like every penny was well spent. Their rolls come in a filling yet generous amount that secure your moneys worth. I also tried the sashimi variety plate and it was definitely worth it. The pieces were melt-in-your-mouth good! A hidden gem to say the least. Plus on weekday nights, the comfortable booths are always available.

This place is small but so cute. They have cute little booths to sit at. Their service is great. Most importantly their food is delicious. Sushi and rolls are huge! I had to open my mouth wide as can be to be able to eat this sushi. We got a spicy roll, a California and an Orange roll. All of them were good. My favorite was the Orange roll which was salmon, cucumbers and avacado and the top was salmon and lemon slices. Great combination. All the food was fresh. Great huge portions of sushi. Great spot to eat at. Lots of different options to pick from.

Super casual place, delicious food...large portion sushi!!!No sake. I recommend this place but dont expect fancy. The Amber sushi is great, the soft shell crab and fried tofu is delicioys also.

I had the opportunities to stop in on the way home one evening and was pleasantly surprised at how nice this little sushi shop is There is not much seating but always seems to have a table available. The Japanese burrito here is huge and worth every bit. I also love the tuna sashimi. The service is excellent and they stay on top of your needs while you're seated here. If you're looking for some great sushi and great service, this is the place for you.

This place was so cute and cozy on the inside, and I wanted to love it so much, but the food was not good! Yes, the rolls and nigiri are huge, but it's mostly rice, and the quality of fish wa not up to par for the price. To make things worse, the rice used wasn't sushi rice (with the normal sugar/vinegar seasoning), so everything tasted bland. Honestly I have had grocery store sushi that tastes better.

The sushi is fresh, and the baked rolls come out warm. The ambiance is great and you feel transported to a new destination. The service is 5 stars!

Sushi rice is key to any quality, authentic Japanese restaurant and this place falls short by a mile; hard, leftover rice was awful.Service and attention to detail were non-existent as our empty dishes piled up despite there only being one other table when we dined around prime lunchtime at 1pm.Save your money and don't reward mediocre places like this for half-assed food and service.
