Orange Cafe in Orange, California, is a charming breakfast and brunch spot that serves hearty, homemade-style meals reminiscent of grandma's cooking. The food isn't overly fancy or artistically plated, but it delivers that comforting, nostalgic feeling, from the atmosphere to the aromas that greet you when you walk in. It's the kind of place where you feel instantly at home, as if you're visiting your grandmother's house for a warm, satisfying meal.Every time I stop by, whether for a small sandwich or a big, hearty breakfast like their omelets or eggs Benedict, I'm never disappointed. Their portions are generous, perfect for satisfying even the biggest appetites. If you're in the mood for something light, their cold sandwiches are fresh and flavorful. For healthier options, they also serve vegetarian dishes, fruit bowls, and a delicious veggie Benedict, making it a great choice for everyone, no matter their preferences. The casual, laid-back atmosphere adds to the charm, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The cafe is also wheelchair accessible, with an accessible entrance, parking lot, restrooms, and seating, ensuring comfort for all guests. The service at Orange Cafe is consistently friendly, and the food is always fresh and satisfying. Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast or a leisurely brunch, this cozy spot never fails to deliver a memorable experience with its hearty portions and welcoming ambiance.

I had a great experience here - the food was delicious, and the service was awesome.Florentine Scramble with Sourdough + Hash Browns:- The scramble tasted fresh, with large slices of bacon, cheese, and veggies.- The hash browns were buttery, soft, and cooked well. Country Fried Steak & Eggs with Irish Home Fries + Biscuit:- The country fried steak was flavorful and cooked just right.- The Irish home fries were a standout, with onions, bell peppers, and hearty potato pieces.Coffee:- Loved that the coffee was refilled often - great for a breakfast spot!Extras:- The service was friendly and attentive.- Plenty of parking, so no hassle getting in.If you're looking for a solid breakfast spot with good food and service, this place is definitely worth checking out!

As you can tell I love eggs Benedict. This place is definitely a hole in the wall that I'd say gives off a small diner vibe. If you are thinking of going to dennys or ihop and want a better option then this is the place to go.The food is super filling and a great brunch option to choose as an alternative to a franchised diner. The service here is great as they really do take care of you when you are there, and there's a lot of seats so you get seated relatively quickly

A local gem in Orange! Hidden breakfast place located at a small plaza. Parking is limited but we didn't have a hard time when we got there. Look like they started getting busier after we were done around noon. They had a lot of selections and my husband got the steak and egg, I got the crab cake egg Benedict and kid got a kid pancake combo. The portions were huge!!! None of us were able to finish; prices are very good considering the portion is so big. The order came quick and tasted good!

This bistro is a super cozy little spot with a relaxed vibe, reminiscent of an old-school diner. The staff was friendly and immediately made us feel welcome, like regulars. The service was quick. I ordered the chilaquiles, which is my favorite dish whenever I see it on the menu. I have to say, this place serves the best chilaquiles! The chorizo was fantastic--perfectly cooked, not greasy at all. It reminded me of my childhood when my dad used to prepare them for me. Despite not looking like much from the outside, I assure you this gem won't disappoint. We arrived early, but by around 10 a.m., it became quite busy--even on a weekday. It seems the locals know this is the go-to breakfast spot!

Food is so good, better than your average dinner. The staff is kind and it's a fun atmosphere. Lost 1 star for the parking options, there are not many spots and the parking lot is small!

The food is incredible and very, very, very flavorful. The chicken fried steak is a huge portion. The omelette was very good and light and fluffy. The service was spot on as well. Very attentive and friendly. We will be going back soon.

Hello fellow breakfast people. Came here today 8/28/24, as I had come yesterday but they are closed on Tuesdays. I did not remember seeing that on the website or YELP, but then again, I thought who is closed on a Tuesday? This review should be a 4.5-star review. But there were just a few things that made me round it down. I would be happy to update and raise my review score in the future if things change.First- The Good: Pretty good menu options overall. When I first looked at the menu, I thought that the prices were just a little high. But when I got my plate, there was soooo much food. To say the portions are generous is an understatement. I had the Country Fried Steak, eggs, home potatoes O'Brien style, and Squaw bread. Was happy to see that they carried that. I would love to come back and try one of their sandwiches made with it. The place was clean and bright with lots of fun car culture decor. I also really like that they have the outside string Edison bulb lights all across the ceiling as their main source of lights, not including the big plate glass windows. Food came out fresh and hot. The service was terrific. The waitress (Maria) did a good job by herself with about 26 people or 10 sat tables. My water and coffee were never empty and if you follow any of my reviews, you know that's a sticking point for me. Overall, a great experience that I would recommend to people, and I am excited to go back to try some of their other dishes.Second- The Bad: Parking here is horribly limited. Many of the businesses in this little strip mall has dedicated spots, so you can't use them and there are towing warnings. I'm sure that people leave and go elsewhere when they can't find a spot. I know that I almost did, but a spot opened right as I was ready to pull out. Other people who came in admitted that they were taking a chance by having to park in the center across the street where there are also towing signs. And this was 9am on a Wednesday, I can't imagine on a weekend... I would have to take an Uber or park a couple of blocks away. The Irish potatoes were just their regular home potatoes with a spatula scoop of grilled onions and bell peppers thrown on the top. They were good, but not cooked together and mixed in. There was sausage in the Country Fried Steak gravy but not big pieces. They were almost granular instead of chunky like they should be. Tasty, but not visually appealing. It never felt or tasted like I got a piece of sausage in it, if that makes sense? The coffee was bland. Although hot and never empty, I do feel like at $4.50 a cup, it could be a better quality than the Farmer Brothers coffee that they serve. Maybe try using Cafe Bustelo? Much better brand and taste at a similar price point. Although the portions are huge, by myself, for my breakfast, coffee, tax and tip it was $31.00. Perhaps a Senior or weekday special? I didn't see one on the menu. Just a thought.I will be back to try some other things on the breakfast menu and to try items on their lunch offerings. Glad I found this place overall and would recommend it with the above noted caveats. Good luck, hope you enjoy it.
