I LOVE this food truck. Mostly, because they have a map painted on it that includes my family's home country of Honduras! This made me super happy because being a Boston native, it's been a challenge finding AfroLatin/Caribbean food on the West so when I stumbled upon them at the Black on The Block event, I did not hesitate to order the largest plate with all the staples I grew up eating..Since they are catering to the event, a plate will run you approximately $20+. It is large and I definitely ate out of it twice at that price point. I chose their Main Tingz Chicken Combo plate that comes with one leg, one thigh, fried plantains, fresh baked bread, a sweet and tangy sauce and two sides. For my sides, I got a salad and rice and peas..Maybe it was my hunger from working the event all day that was talking, but they lived up to their name because the food was on point. I forgot to take a photo and cleaned my plate. If you ever find them parked in LA, go to it! You won't regret it!

So much flavor! I came late to the party and seen the truck , thankfully they were accommodating and waited for me to order before they closed. Chicken is spicy but so yummy! Everything was on PointDefinitely deserves 5 on yelp

The name is spot on! This food is On Point! I had the combo number 2, with rice and peas / potato salad. Sooo good! Great hospitality as well!

I was able to get the spicy ginger shrimp and just like the name of this establishment... it was on point! The rice was so good because it had some of the sauce from the shrimp. I only give 4 stars because even though the shrimp had a lot of flavor, the shrimp was not deveined. This left the shrimp with an unappetizing texture. I think they could leave the shell on but just cut down the middle to remove the shrimps digestive tract. Friendly and welcoming staff!

I don't know much about Jamaican food, but whatever I ate tonight tasted good and was spicy. The chicken jerk was bursting with flavor and grilled 'til the skin was crispy. The plantain slices were moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The beans enjoyed swimming in their succulent juices.The food truck was parked in the parking lot of Ten Miles Brewery on Thursdays. Come join me and enjoy the food together.

First time here, the lady who we spoke with was very informative. She answered all of the questions we had.It was really good! Chicken had good flavor, beans had just that right amount of smokiness I like, ended up trying my friends potato salad which was good. I didn't get it because I'm not a Mayo fan and most potato salads I see are lathered in it. This was good. The sauce they give you has that sweet heat and I could probably drink it, sauce was delicious.

A whole Vibe!!! And a credit to modern Caribbean cuisines * #delicious #nutritious so glad they make it out to the valley cuz I travel from the av to get my fix

OnPointttt has a decent selection of meal options though only one Vegan meal option as of my most recent visit, the Jerk Plantain Taco, which is good. I don't know if the meal comes with rice and beans all the time. As a volunteer of an event, I receive a meal ticket, and ask if the meal can be as potentially filling as possible since there is only one Vegan meal option which is not as filling (to me) as the other meal options on the menu which the volunteer meal ticket allows a volunteer to receive. The rice and beans are good. The plantain mixes well with the mango. I like my tacos to be fluffier and softer tacos. Otherwise, I enjoy the meal, and one of the persons working with OnPointttt says they're looking into different Vegan options that are truly healthy.

This is not jerk chicken? And don't call it jerk chicken if it's not jerk. Inclusivity does not dictate changing the essential flavor of jerk chicken they have a range spicy mild etc so thereby I don't take inclusivity is being a realistic excuse to substitute the flavor. If you advertise your chicken that's what people expect, jerk chicken.This sauce is not Jamaica jerk that has my mouth on fire like the Fairfax, Inglewood restaurants. And for the PRICE I would expect no less. I was super juiced to see a jerk spot in Long Beach but disappointed is an understatement. The rice and peas... Sad. Like my Caribbean soul is saddened by the spice and prep!

When I tell you this meal right here, changed my life!!!!! The jerk chicken was BEYOND SUCCULENT, well seasoned and emerged in love. The chefs aboard this truck are EPIC. Try them outttttt
