The kids have been on a major boba kick lately, so we've been exploring just as many boba spots as donut shops. We first noticed 1 Sip Boba when we were grabbing donuts nearby, but unfortunately, they were closed at the time. Naturally, we made it a point to come back later that day. From the moment we stepped inside, the space felt bright, welcoming, and nicely decorated. As soon as we walked in, one of the staff members was on the phone but immediately smiled at us and whispered, "I'll get someone here for you." (Take notes, other businesses--this was a professional and customer-centered move!)The menu was packed with so many tempting options that we decided to keep it simple and go for the basics: mango, peach, tropical, and strawberry. Maybe I was overwhelmed by the choices, or maybe I just didn't feel like making a decision, but either way, the drinks came out super fast.Every interaction we had was pleasant, with smiles all around from the team behind the counter. From start to finish, our first experience at 1 Sip Boba was fantastic. Keep up the great work, 1 Sip--our family will definitely be back for more!

I would give this place an overall rating of 3.5 stars, but since we took advantage of a BOGO coupon, I decided to round up. This would be a good place to take someone who is being introduced to boba - think strawberry shortcake milk tea, Oreo milk tea, etc. Warning: they don't have jasmine green tea as an option for milk tea, which was shocking to me (first world problems, I know). Since I was unable to order a jasmine milk tea, I reluctantly ordered a strawberry matcha latte. It wasn't terrible, but I couldn't taste any matcha and it was quite sweet despite me ordering it at 50% sweetness. My husband ordered a taro milk tea with honey boba and loved it. As for their sugarcane drinks, the first time we came here months ago, we were shocked that one sugarcane drink came out to almost ten dollars, which is quite a bit more expensive than other places. We did end up getting one sugarcane drink, and we liked it, but it was not worth the price. We noticed that they've since brought their prices down.

Super delicious ! My favorite is the strawberry shortcake tea with boba! People here are so friendly! Family owned and the vibes are just great. Theyve been open for about 4 months and used to be at the farmers market at the YMCA across the street. Sign up for the rewards and you get a free drink after 10 drinks :). Easy to rack up if you go with cousins and get one for the whole fam haha.Cant wait to try the rest of their menu!

Best boba I've had in a long time! Drinks are a little sweet so I always go 75% sweet and they are still very tasty. Love this place!

First time here! Just noticed this spot as we went to pump gas. Since it was hot, I wanted something refreshing. I loved the fact they had a passion fruit tea on the menu. Of course, that's what I went for. I didn't get any boba in mine, but my partner did. I tried his & the boba was sweet & delicious that left me feeling like I should've got some lol! The place is decorated very cutesy, I love that they have boba squishmellows around. There's not too many tables, but the couch is pretty comfy! The bathroom is also well maintained. Service wasn't anything special, but it was fast since we were the only ones in the shop.

One sip is really all it takes to get addicted to One Sip! Jokes aside, One Sip is a newer boba shop in the area serving up some fresh fruit teas, milk teas, and sugarcane drinks. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a good amount of seating with some nice interior decorations. They have a large selection of drink options on their menu. We got the Mango Sugarcane and the Lychee Sugarcane and both drinks were super refreshing! Overall, this spot has a variety of drink options with the sugarcane being some of the best you can get around the area. All of the staff here are very quick, friendly, and accommodating. We will be back forsure next time we are in the area!

Feeling so swamped and tired on a hot summer Saturday afternoon, I was driving on Woodruff when all of a sudden, I spotted the bright red "Now Open" sign underneath the One Sip Boba Tea House sign that had been sitting there for the past year. Just a week ago, I had gone to the *other* boba shop in Lakewood only to leave with incredulous disappointment after an already disappointing day. While you can't spell the word disappointment without One Sip, my visit to this newly opened boba tea house was luckily not, and I may have just found my new go to for boba in the City of Lakewood. One Sip Boba Tea House is located on the northeast corner of Carson and Woodruff. It's in the same plaza as Vons, but on the opposite end, so if you want to do some shopping at Vons, it would be quite a long walk to either Vons or One Sip regardless of where you park. One Sip is located right next to Glory Days Sports Grill, a stark contrast in environment and ambience from this boba shop that with how depleted my energy level was that day, I wouldn't have been able to relax even the slightest bit there. When I arrived, there were several customers in the shop, but all of them had already ordered. I took a look at the menu on the two TV screens above the front counter and also asked the bobarista a few questions about the menu. With how hot it was that day, I was definitely thinking about a smoothie, but my experience consuming the awful smoothie from that *other* boba shop in Lakewood lingered with me, so I decided to try either a Milk Tea or a Milk Latte. Between the two, mllk teas have caffeine whereas milk lattes do not. Not wanting caffeine on a late Saturday afternoon, I ordered the Brown Sugar Brulee Milk Latte, hoping that it would give me the sudden burst of energy my body needed to get through the rest of that day.Well, it didn't quite do the trick, and I'm not saying that just because I chose a non-caffeinated drink lol. However, it was a nice solid drink that gave me some of that me time that I was ever so lacking that week, but I felt the flavor wasn't as bold as the drink I had at The Alley in Fountain Valley almost three years ago. They added a little more ice than I would have liked, but overall, I still liked the drink well enough that I'd definitely like to try something else on their menu! When the bobarista asked if I'd like some toppings to add to my drink, I knew I wanted boba, but I was a little disappointed they didn't have my go to topping: crystal boba. Since they had just opened recently, like maybe within the past month or so, they were still working on it. Another reason to make a return visit I guess! lol so I just went with the regular honey boba. The bobarista, interestingly enough, also recommended egg pudding to go with my drink, but I declined, thinking that it would have been too much good for me. The boba itself was QQ, so I'd definitely be looking forward to trying their crystal boba when they add it to their menu. Each topping is 85 cents extra.Upon paying, I saw they had a rewards program, and when I asked the bobarista about it, she mentioned I'd have to purchase 10 drinks in order to get one for free. Pretty much like a stamp card, but you would simply enter your phone number at the register to earn a stamp. No physical card needed! Any drink you get from their menu would count towards the free drink.I was a little hesitant about joining their rewards program not knowing if I would have liked their Brown Sugar Brulee, but I took my chances, entering my phone number and first name at the register. Right after I paid, I got a text with a link to my receipt, though the receipt itself does not show what drink I got or how much I paid. Rather, it shows my order number and the first names of the customers who ordered after me! Interesting idea, but I don't know why it's necessary to even show that? The interior of the shop is nice, but not necessarily a place you could get work done since there aren't that many tables inside. They have a nice lounge area by the right wall, and there's also an Insta-worthy backdrop with a chair on either side of a small table occupied by some cute boba plushies! They were so cute that I felt bad one dropped to the floor after I petted a different one. I also tried sharing my drink with the plushies, but needless to say, they didn't want any lol.Drinks come in one size. Their cups are stacked right next to the register, so you don't need to ask to see how big the cups are. Service was up to par in comparison with other boba shops in the area.Welcome to Lakewood One Sip! Though I wish you would consider changing your name to Multiple Sips instead since it took me multiple sips to finish my drink lol. I thought 7 Leaves would have been my go to for bubble tea drinks, but it looks like I have finally found one closer to me! If you love boba, definitely put this shop on your radar and give them a try!

This is a cute and spacious boba spot right next to where I take my dog to get groomed and I was excited to finally stop by and check it out. The interior is very open, cozy, and decorated. It's a good place to hang out or even do work. It was pretty quiet when I was there on a weekday afternoon so I was glad I was able to take my meetings. The menu is a bit overwhelming bc theres a bit of everything. I'm usually a milk tea girly but the options didn't sound too appealing to me. Throughout the week, there are different daily deals. I was there on a Wednesday and it was BOGO fruit tea so I got the lychee green tea and my sister got the passion fruit tea. I adjusted the sweetness to 50% bc they said their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side. My drink was good but I felt like I couldn't really enjoy it bc of the amount of ice in my cup - it was kind of ridiculous and is the main reason I'm docking off one star. I haven't been to a boba shop that has filled my cup from top to bottom full of ice and I mean literal ice cubes. When I poked my boba straw in, my straw didn't even have space to go into the cup bc of all of the ice in there. I also couldn't even get to the lychee bits in my cup bc the ice was blocking everything lol. My drink also made me so cold bc of the amount of ice I had in my cup and it watered down my drink even more. I felt rushed to finish my drink before the taste completely changed from the melted ice and I'm usually someone who likes to take my time with my boba drinks. It was pretty disappointing and ruined the vibes for me because as I said, I don't know any boba places that give that much ice as their regular practice before adjustments. Overall, I would give this place another shot but will have to explicitly ask for like 1/4 cup of ice. I mainly want to try the sugar cane drinks!

Ordered the strawberry shortcake drink and sugar cane drink. Cant remember if I got full sweetness on the strawberry shortcake but I think I got 70% and it was perfect, I wouldn't have wanted it any more sweet. Loved the little bits at the bottom, I wish there was more! Added a teeny bit of saltiness which was awesome. Then we tried the sugar cane drink. Husband thought they added something to it, not 100%, but it was still good and not as watered down as many other places so we'll take it! Service was fabulous with really nice workers. Will definitely go back!
