No "Service" charge, thank you!We were really, really happy here. Sitting outside on a nice fall day, great for people and dog watching (including a constant flow of people (no dogs) entering the cannabis shop across the street), attentive service, and very vegetarian friendly. Cannot ask for much more.I've been getting too many bland veggie omelettes lately, many not fixable even with salsa. The Sicilian Omelette I had, with veggie sausage happily substituted, was outstanding. Flavorful, did not need salsa to give it taste, excellent. Partner had Black Bean delight, which was true to its name. Nicely cooked hash browns accompanied the omelettes.Fairly priced and 2 hours free parking at the public garage a short stroll away. Perfect place to start a day in Long Beach.

I've eaten here several times, place is great and clean, usually busy during business hours and the food is great, but I wanted to stay in today so I ordered from Uber and the my opinion stays the same, the food is great and the packaging kept everything piping hot. Definitely a 5 out of 5.

Solid breakfast diner with great omelets. The hobo omelet is absolute loaded and a big breakfast. Hash browns were good, but, the home fries are even better. Service was good, and location is nice with great indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor patio is on Pine and makes for great people watching. Very grateful that they were open on Thanksgiving. Parking lot right around the corner and railing to lock bikes to right outside. What more can you ask for?

My sister and I came here on a Saturday morning before attending an event at the convention center. We were greeted by the hostess and promptly sat down. This place has an old timey feel and the decor is dated but its still nice. The service was okay, the servers didn't come check on us much and they were delayed in taking our order. We ordered an omelette, I got french toast, and we ordered a pancake to try. Everything was okay. The one thing I would recommend them to do is get that bathroom fixed. They're missing a door so they put a curtain shower up? Super weird. Parking is street parking only, which was not hard to find.

My cousin was staying with me, so wanted to buy him breakfast while showing him a small part of DTLB. The breakfast place I wanted to try was closed, so came back to this reliable place. He had the classic breakfast, which he enjoyed. The entire menu is available all-day, so I got the weekday special (black bean chicken chili & 1/2 sandwich for $11.96). The chili was very good...maybe too mild for a chili connoisseur (or someone from Texas who doesn't believe in beans in chili)...but reminded me strongly of the "fat-free" chicken chili that our cafe at a place I worked at for a while served (that used to be my lunch pretty consistently 3 days a week). I chose the chicken salad, which was OK, but as expected, didn't have much chicken on the sandwich. It was just filling enough to satisfy me for the long day ahead on a fishing boat.
