Olive Pit Grill - Brea

I saw so many reviews about their lamb chops being good, but even with those expectations on my mind, I was blown away. I got the 5 piece lamb chops done medium rare with artichoke hearts and the Mediterranean salad and it was a STEAL for the price. The lamb chops were sourced from NZ and were a bit smaller than I expected, but the flavor and the tenderness was out of this world. I wish I had a photo.. and I'm usually pretty good at taking a photo but I ate it up before the camera ate! Will be back soon for more lamb and hopefully a picture this time!

We wanted healthy and filling food for our Sunday dinner outing and decided to give the Olive Pit a try. I had been once before a few years ago and decided that the menu was perfect for the type of meal I was looking for. We ordered the kabob plates. I ordered the shrimp and chicken kabobs while my bf ordered the steak kabobs. Mine were perfect with the right amount of seasoning and flavor. The sauce that they put atop the kabobs is delicious! My bf's critique of the steak is that he should've had it cooked differently but the flavor was there. I loved that our entrees were fresh and the portion sizes were appropriate. I was completely satisfied. I also ordered the lemon chicken and rice soup, which was delightful. It was different with the lemon flavor but a good different. I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The service was accommodating and the ambiance was beautiful and calming for our Sunday dinner. We sat at the table tops close to the bar and everything was pleasant. Can't wait to come back!

We came here last week for the first time ever and I think this place needs to be on our list of most frequented spots! Sadly it's a bit of a drive for us but so worth it!! Julie was our waitress on Friday. We came in around 5pm and it got pretty busy once we had been there a bit but there was still plenty of seating and service was fast. Julie was helpful with some questions we had as it was our first visit. Our orders were perfect! I asked to sub one of the sides for grape leaves for an up charge (they make them here with ground turkey which is my favorite vs the cold rice kind). Between my wife and I we got lamb steak and shrimp kabobs which were all cooked perfectly and then we also shared an order of Feta fries. Wow!! They were amazing! I had to try the Cranberry Fig Martini. It was also delicious and pretty with a rosemary sprig on top. Interior is super cute with a Mediterranean vibe that feels festive! Friendly staff, clean restrooms, just a great experience overall!! Parking structure to the east of the restaurant is your best bet!! Thanks Olive Pit Grill.

The Food was fresh and warm, great tasting food , beautiful deco inside and nice ambiance inside. We will definitely be back all of our food was cooked to perfection. Great Server and he always stoped by and asked if we needed anything else

Delicious as always! This is my favourite Greek food spot in the area. They have plenty of parking nearby and great happy hour that includes Fridays. We came here for a late lunch and got sat 5 mins before the end of happy hour and were able to order happy hour. The spicy cheese was really good, but a bit spicy for me. The grilled octopus is one of my go to menu items, it is delicious and you can make it an entree to add the 2 sides (I didn't). This was the first time trying the Spanakopita and it was really good. I would for sure order it again. My bfs crispy calamari was good. Artichoke hearts are my favourite side from here as they are big, tasty and a good portion. The olivata was tasty as usual. The beer menu is not up to date so they have other beers on tap. I love the allagash white and was excited when he said that they carry it now. Service was fast, friendly and very helpful. We will be back.

We returned to the Olive Pit after such a great meal a year ago, I was so disappointed in my meal this time around. The salad and its dressing were lacking in flavor and the turkey meatball flatbread fell flat on flavor, it was overtaken with cheese. The feta fries were still a hit, but overall we were so bummed it wasn't as good as we remembered it to be. It was packed on a weekend, arrive early or make a reservation ahead of time. Parking is plenty via the structure behind the restaurant.

Great spot in Brea! They also have a Huntington Beach location.The food is always really good! I'm a fan of the kabobs and their small bites are really good.Definitely get the Tzatziki! This location seems to always be pretty busy, I've been for lunch and dinner. The outside patio is nice, if you come during the day. It's very cute inside and nicely decorated.Both times I've been to this location the service has been kind of unwelcoming. Not rude or bad by any means, just kind of straight to the point and rushed.The tables in the middle section are also kind of crammed in. Maybe move the two top out from in between the two four tops. Or only seat people there when you're at capacity.Would still definitely come again, just know what to expect! Would also be a fantastic take out option!

Went here with a friend for my birthday. I always enjoy my meals here so I was excited to lunch here today. This time around I decided to order something different. I ordered the lamb gyro combo plate with roasted mushrooms and roasted artichokes. I was disappointed with the gyro meat as it was sliced thicker than I'm used to and it was very dry. You also only get three slices. Not a good value for your money. I will still come back but I just won't order the lamb gyro again. I should have stayed with my "go to" lamb chops.

Olive Pit Grill in Brea is a hidden gem for Mediterranean food lovers! And the atmosphere is super cute and chic. Indoor + outdoor patios are VERY spacious!We got a LOT, but here were our absolute favorites and must-orders:Mains- Grilled Wild Salmon Salad (incredibly good - best salad I've ever had)- Lamb Pizza- Lamb ChopsSide- Fried Asparagus with garlic aioliDessert- Tiramisu with baklava baseThe staff was also SUPER friendly - our waiter was so helpful and the bartender is the BEST!!This place feels luxury beginning to end but actually has affordable prices. We will be back AGAIN AND AGAIN!!

We were in the mood for Mediterranean and were on our way to another favorite when we decided to come here instead. We had heard very good things so we wanted to try it. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. It is big and spacious so plenty of room to move around. We were hungry but saw some of the plates and how huge they are so the three of us decided to share two plates and the three dip sampler. My daughter ordered the two beef kabobs with basmati rice and the Rocka salad. My wife ordered the two chicken kabobs with basmati rice and the roasted mushrooms. Great choices. I have to tell you that I was mentioning that the chicken kabobs typically is better than the beef. When you think of premium you think of beef or lamb but I think the chicken are the best and they were at the Olive Pit too. We really enjoyed the three dip combo: the spicey cheese was very good as was the hummus but the Olivada was amazing. The service was great, Nicole was very good and checked on us constantly to see that we were happy. I can't wait to come back and try their Happy Hour.
