Ocean Plus Fish Market

We always come here when we have guest! So we expect to come here once a month now! We love ocean plus fish market! We always order a day before and the fish always taste fresh! The service could be better as my husband picked up my order several times but seemed to always be kept waiting so that they could accommodate others. Otherwise I have no complaints. It's a fish market, it's gonna smell fishy! We love it!

Outside - pretty ghetto, dirty and gross. Old Asian seniors smoking and pretty throw their cigarette buds on the ground. Inside - a total fish market set up and if you do not know of this place, you will never think they offer sashimi platters. I got there early and the staff was finishing up on my sashimi platter order. It was nicely plated and good presentation. You need to purchase condiments like ginger, wasabi, soy sauce etc...which I thought was inconvenience. It would be nice if it was plated with the sashimi order. Quality was decent. My total was $109 and for that pricing, wasabi and ginger should be free! With the orders of ginger and wasabi it came out to around $117.

Again -- I have NOTHING bad to say about her ! I ordered from Ocean Plus again since I made poke bowls & the meat quality is seriously sososo fresh. It's in such a hole-in-the-wall place but the best. I scheduled my pick up for 10:30 and they were already done by 10:15am. This place is my go-to for delicio fresh raw sushi grade fish. SHE IS SO GOOD I will never go anywhere else for my soosh! I also let them know that this was for poke and they cut my fish poke style :') I paid about $58 for 1 pound of salmon & 1 pound tuna :P saurrrr worth i will be back soon hehehe

I've always ordered slabs so I can cut and make my own sushi at home. For the past many times I've ordered the weight and size was good and had no issues. But with my recent visit this looks like less than even a pound when I ordered 1.5lbs. I understand it includes skin and bone but this portion size is extremely little when I paid $30+. This same amount would have been $15 at H Mart or Ranch 99. Really disappointed with this recent visit. When I carried the bag out what should've been a 2lb order with ice felt incredibly light.

It has been a few years since I last ordered from this seafood market and I finally came back recently for an order of 3 dozen oysters for my at home seafood party! We called two days in advance to place our order and we asked if they could shuck the oysters for us. Once we picked up our order, it was nicely packaged and super fresh! The size of the oysters were big and the flavor was sweet and fresh. I would definitely always order oysters from this market whenever we need it again. Great quality and great service!

Ordered 2.5lbs of Salmon, 1lb of Tuna, and 1lb of yellowtail. $122.xxSalmon is great, but the tuna and yellowtail smells and taste fishy. If I ever order again, it'll just be the salmon.

$37 for a full dish of sashimi!! I have heard of this place for a while. I went to the Che Cali next door and ask someone about this place. Finally tried it out. The store keeper explained to me how it works. I ordered salmon and yellowtail. They cut it up for me nicely. You may have heard of Yama Sushi, this place is similar. They also sell frozen dumplings and fish balls.

Really cheap for fresh sashimi - I highly recommend ordering over the phone or IG for pick up. You can technically walk in to order but you will have to wait for them to cut it up. This store itself LOOks like a fish shop. No frills. Very straight forward.

Don't know why it's taken me so long to review this place such a great local gem. Yelpers helped me find this place before the pandemic so I've been coming here for a while. Today I bought 8 pounds of raw fish. All I get is sashimi here. Ahi, yellowtail, and salmon most of the time but have gotten snapper and others. I come here to wow people at parties. Like a broken record people rave about the freshness and quality and ask where I buy. I tell them and they're surprised it's close by. Danny is the fishmonger there-- he's your guy. Support this small business establishment!

Absolutely amazing quality and extremely fresh. Would absolutely come back. Just be aware there is some prep time required, but it is definitely worth the wait.
