North Italia Del Amo

North Italia always hits the spot!My normal order includes the Caesar salad, spicy rigatoni vodka (no pork, add chicken), and margherita pizza. Recently, I've been getting the crispy eggplant parm and it's so good. The brussels sprouts, zucca chips, and white truffle garlic bread as also great sides/starters!The chicken pesto pasta and cacio e pepe pizza are good, although not my favorite. Service is always great as the servers are friendly and attentive.

Came here for the Dine LA Week menu and I have to say, it was a deal and it was good. I can see why this place is popular with diners, but for me it was just OK. Location:There are locations all over the LA County as they are a chain. This one is located in the Del Amo Mall that faces Hawthorne Blvd and shares a lot with a lot of other eateries, so parking can be difficult, if not impossible, during peak times. I'd avoid this place during those times. Food: I got the spicy rigatoni, arancini and chocolate ice cream. The rigatoni was good, but I feel it needed more sauce. Would have preferred to have the option of parmesan cheese on the side or offered by the staff, but oh well. The arancinis were crispy outside, but the inside filling was a little on the hard side. The chocolate ice cream good, but I would have preferred to have it on an actual small bowl and not something resembling a ramekin for easier scooping. Service and was personable and excellent as far as I was concerned. Ambiance was modern and not too loud and the booths were comfy. Despite all that, the food was okay. Not bad, but not the best and I feel it could be better. A little more time and attention could be paid to the dishes, but because you have such a large conglomerate, passion and quality tends to escape and this is where the small mom and pop shops excel. All in all, this place is good for a pricier quick bite. Would I come back? Only if someone wanted to come here.

North Italia at Del Amo Mall is a convenient spot for large groups, with an elevated casual atmosphere that makes it a solid choice for gatherings. The service has been consistently good on both of my visits, which is definitely a plus. That being said, the food itself hasn't really impressed me. I've tried a few pasta dishes, including the pesto (which I didn't enjoy) and, most recently, the ricotta cavatelli. At $28, I expected something a bit more flavorful, but it was pretty underwhelming. We also shared the hot honey and prosciutto pizza--decent flavor, but the dough was too hard for my liking. For a chain, North Italia leans on the pricier side for food that, in my opinion, is just okay. That said, my friends seem to really like it, so I get the appeal. If you're looking for a spot to accommodate a group with good service and a nice ambiance, it's a fine choice--but if food is the main priority, I'd personally go elsewhere.

We went to Del Amo mall to do some shopping and decided to stop here for some lunch, it was DELICIOUS!!! the restaurant is kid friendly and very nicely decorated inside, we were seated instantly and started off with the white truffle bread and it was amazing, then the waitress recommend the Spicy meatball pizza so we shared it and it was a 10/10 . I had the Spicy Rigatoni Pasta with chicken instead of the pork and my fiance had the Chicken Mozarella Sandwich with was also insanely delicious. Everything we ate was terrific, can't wait to return

I've been to a few locations of North Italia and I'd say it's a up there for Italian restaurants! My party ordered the white truffle garlic bread, spicy meatball pizza, squid ink tonnarelli, and the braised short rib lumache. I'd say everything was enjoyable with my favorites being the spicy meatball pizza and the squid ink tonnarelli. If you're a spice fan like I am, you can also ask them to customize it to make it spicier, which I appreciate. The price point is a little high for what it is, but is worth it for special occasions. We were also celebrating a special occasion, so we were given a complimentary dessert which we all really enjoyed.The ambiance here is nice and I'd say it's on the trendy side. Service was friendly but a bit slow because I felt like our waiter was a bit hard to track down a lot. This location is in the Del Amo Mall so there's a large parking lot with plenty of parking.

The restaurant is very nice inside dim lighting with large spacious. The pig pizza was tasty with all of the meats, a little salty but I still enjoyed it. The strozzapreti pasta is tasty! The pasta texture has a nice firmness to it and pairs well with the mushrooms, spinach, chicken, and the fresh garlic. The sauce is on the lighter side but still packs flavor. Tiramisu here is one of my favorites.

Made a reservation but arrived early and was seated right away. Our waitress was phenomenal. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Food was delicious as always. Inside was stunning and clean, but got a bit dim once the sun went down. Worth every penny!

This was my go to when I lived in Irvine, and I've been to the one in El Segundo a bunch of times too. First visit to this location and wasn't disappointed. It was a Monday night just as football was ending so the bar was wide open. Had a glass of red wine while I revisited a familiar menu. Bartenders were very attentive and awesome. I decided on their revision of my old favorite, it's now called Short Rib Lumache. I'm Italian, but had no idea what lumache was.. shells... a light lemony cream sauce with horseradish and delicious tender short rib. I accompanied that with the grilled bread with good olive oil. A meal fit for a king.Delicious food, but as with everything nowadays, quite pricy. My bill was over $100 for myself, but full transparency I kept getting wine refills lol. Can't wait to go back! I miss their pizza.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for so long. This location is super convenient for me, so I asked my girl Michelle who lives in the area if she wanted to meet up We came here around 1:45 and they were serving brunch stillThe waitress was extremely attentive, kept asking if we needed anything, gave suggestions and etc. we placed our order and everything was going smoothly. The margherita pizza I ordered came out first. Which was delicious. And then our entrees. Michelle got brunch and I got the vodka pasta. As soon as I looked at it, there was black hair in it. They were nice about it, but it honestly made me not want to eat anymore. They did apologize over and over again. Which I was thankful for. The customer service was great. They did remake it, but I wasn't really in the mood for food after that. the indoor lighting was beautiful, they had a really nice outdoor patio And parking was up close It also takes reservations as wellAnd again, great customer service. So 5 stars for all those things and the pizza The pizza was really good and I'd be willing to try it again. Just after seeing hair in your food it's a turn off.

Not my favorite location but my grandma insisted we go here. I got my fave pizza the fungi and it just didn't hit like it used to. And something was off about the hot honey pizza. The crudo was pretty good but super oily. Egg plant parm was something new I haven't tried and wasn't impressed. Service was good and there seemed to be a couple other people here for lunch. I hope it made my grandma happy though.
