New Peking Restaurant

The food was delicious! They were very busy at 1 on a Saturday. Servers were very mix. Has the Mongolian beef and special chicken. Chicken was excellent

This is your old school Chinese restaurant that you went to back in the day before Panda Express got to be so popular. We started with the pu-pu platter which is an assortment of appetizers. The best thing in the platter was the beef sticks. The egg rolls were good, but a bit greasy.For our main dishes we got the almond chicken and kung pao chicken. I liked the kung pao better and it wasn't too spicy either. You're not getting a flashy upscale restaurant but the food is decent and so are the prices. They were pretty busy so it seems like it's a neighborhood favorite. Check it out if you're in the area.

We end up to this restaurant by turning accidentally, hidden place in one plaza, Cerritos, sounds impressive "PEKING" Restaurant so we decided to give it a try.. they just open 11:20 am Saturday. Lunch specials range between $11-12.50. Service is ok. Food is good. Lunch special comes with soup, dumpling and your entree's.Must try this place!!!

Been coming here since I was a kid with my family , still my number one favorite Chinese restaurant. We get the house fried combination rice and the war wan tan soup ( I apologize if I misspelled that) but definitely recommend this place to everyone ! The service here is also spectacular along with the ambiance!! 5 star for me and my ppl .

I was staying at a friend's house and really craving mu shu pork. After searching the menus of a number of nearby Chinese restaurants and coming up empty I found New Peking and was excited to order. I called in for pickup and headed over. Food was ready quickly and on time and the server was friendly, but that's about where the good things end.I ordered three items:Streamed dumplings: these might have been ok, but I assumed they would be pork dumplings (my bad, I guess I should have confirmed) and they were chicken dumplings. Sauce that came with them was ok, but not to my personal liking. I ended up giving the rest away after eating one.BBQ pork appetizer: This was ok, and mostly what I ended up eating for dinner. Pork was cut into bite sized pieces that weren't exactly dry but also weren't as moist as I'd expect. Sauce was not evenly distributed. My Shu pork: this was just... bad. I was so disappointed. The dish was mostly cabbage, to the point that it tasted like I was eating a cabbage roll and it didn't come with any sauce. I threw it out after eating one pancake.

After reading some reviews on google I decided to give this place a chance. Ordered through Uber. Delivery was not an issue. Cost around $100 with Delivery and tip. Beef Brisket soup with Noodles 1/5Shrimp in Lobster sauce with white rice 1/5Orange Tofu/ Vegetable Chow Mein 3/5Tasteless! No flavor at all we even tried adding some soy sauce but no didn't help.So disappointing . Thought we had found a new Chinese Restaurant Would not recommend

Food, service and ambience are all excellent. The value for the portions quality and menu size and speed make this a 5 star restaurant imo. It reminds me of the Chinese/Korean restaurants in the Midwest growing up in the 80s and 90s. The menu is huge and there is something for everyone. It's ridiculously cheap for what you get.
