I can't believe I've lived in the South Bay my whole life and just now tried Neno's Persian food. Me being half Persian I have high standards for beef koobideh. Neno's beef koobideh was a 9/10 for me; I was highly impressed. The texture was perfect, the meat was juicy (I always ask to cook my kabobs medium). I loved how they brushed saffron oil on the kabob after it was cooked. The only thing it was missing was a bit of salt but I added some sumac and it came out amazing. The portions were generous; the service was fast and friendly; the restaurant was clean and beautiful. I will definitely be returning.

This place is an interesting combination of two restaurants under the same roof. One is Italian and a very old neighborhood spot, with a newer Persian restaurant added several years back. Both do a great job on both sides of the menu. We usually eat the Persian food, which is kebabs and rice which are always excellent and the prices are fair. The Italian food is mostly pastas and pizza and those are great as well and the prices are good on those as well. The service can be slow from time to time and the ambience is pretty nice as they updated this restaurant several years back and it looks pretty nice inside.

We recently went to Nenno's to get our all time favorite's which was spaghetti and some Lasagna, we had pretty much stopped getting the Lasagna because it didn't taste the same as it had a different type of cheese in it, but we decided to give it a try again and we are so HAPPY AND EXCITED TO SEE AND TASTE that you have brought back the delicious smooth and creamy cheese back into your Lasagna!!! :) The Lasagna tasted SOOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!! This place is a pleasant surprise with great Persian food and I love the Fesanjan. It's a surprise because it is in a nondescript strip mall, but its interior is gorgeous, and with decent service. The schizophrenic Persian/Italian menu setup is a little odd and I have not tried the Italian food yet. Having lived in Santa Monica where I was near a lot of good Persian places, this is a great find for South Bay.

This is my go to take out spot for some Persian food! So I can't speak for ambiance although it doesn't really seem like a place I would want to sit down and eat in as it's located inside a parking lot in a not so great area. Food is amaazing. The beef and chicken koobideh is so fresh and delicious. Their house cucumber salad is also really good. I wish they gave some white sauce on the side without it being an extra charge though. Also, their delivery service is quite slow so sometimes I just do take out and pick up my food but I would like them to improve their delivery.
