Neat Coffee

Interesting coffee drink selection here! I got the Baker Street (hot) and it was the perfect sweetness - tasted like a Golden latte with a shot of espresso. Hubby got the PB Cookie (iced) and that tasted great too. The inside area is a little small and there wasn't any free tables when we arrived (around 1pm) but there was plenty of seating on the patio (dog friendly). The parking lot is tiny and a few spots are 5 min parking only but we parked a few min walk away on the residential street.They have free wifi too but I can't speak to the quality cause I was just there to read but a few folks had their computers out and there are two tables inside with outlets but both were occupied when we were there (Saturday afternoon).

Poor service.Two baristas stood around, chit-chatting, and didn't take orders in a timely manner. I understand that they might have important topics that they needed to discuss urgently. If so, asking customers to wait is a courteous thing to do; especially when they ask for 15%+ tips.Customers are looking to grab a cup of coffee quickly in the morning, prompt service is appreciated.

I came here explicitly because I thought they served Rocky's Matcha; which they in fact, do not. I saw it was a cute little cafe with cozy vibes so I decided to give it a try either way, and needless to say, this is the worst matcha I have ever tired, no exaggeration. The milk is completely overpowering and almost with a spoiled-like taste. As well as an extremely grassy matcha lacking any other notes. I unfortunately took two sips and had to throw it away, because it was impossible for me to drink it without gagging. Additionally, the barista did not seem the friendliest either, but thats beside the point.

Discovered neat coffee through instagram and i am so glad we did. Walking in the interior was super cute. There are a few tables where you are able to study with a lot of natural lighting. The back area was very cute too with larger tables for groups. Service was great. We came on Halloween and the girl was super friendly. We got the shakerato and the strawberry matcha. The matcha was finished by the time we drove out of the parking lot. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me and would definitely get it again. The shakerato was also a hit and i loved the hint of maple syrup.Forsure will definitely be returning and recommending!

Cute little hidden gem in Costa Mesa! It was busy with tons of people working on their laptops and friends gathering for a morning coffee date. The service was fast and very welcoming. I ordered the Iced Matcha Latte with Vanilla. It was good overall, however I could have used a bit more Vanilla because I am not sure if I even tasted it in my drink to be honest. The Matcha itself I don't feel I got enough Matcha flavoring as I usually like but that's more of a preference on my part. I saw a couple other drinks I'm interested in trying but my go to at any coffee shop is to try their Matcha. Definitely will be back to try more drinks and more specifically their coffee selection.

Neat is my favorite coffee shop. Their coffee is the best in town (Baker Street is bomb!) , and everyone is so nice and welcoming. They've created an awesome space and sense of community. Very grateful for Neat.

Perfect & neat place to grab a coffee & read a book. Neat latte tastes a bit like Korean medicine. The parking lot has 6 spots.

The coffee was really good. This was my first time trying this new coffee spot and it was exactly what I needed. Service was fast and staff was super friendly. The coffee shop was clean and the inside was super cute. The lights were nice and dim they also had a sitting area by big window panes, which were nice. Overall, super satisfied!

The place had a diner vibe and was cute but parking is difficult and the drinks were terrible. We tried their secret menu item, the iced cinnamon bun latte, and it lacked flavor. The cappuccino was also bland.

Friendly staff + nice interior for studying, but can get pretty loud/crowded. Limited parking.Peanut butter cookie latte: decent--the peanut butter flavor is there but could be a lot stronger. The flavor seemed a little diluted.Shakerato: great flavor + the maple wasn't too overpowering. Precaution that the cup for this drink is pretty small, but I would get this one again.
