Wasn't the restaurant that I thought it would be but it was decent enough. Our server was very attentive and was doing her best to be accommodating to our large group. We ordered various appetizers and entrees for all of us to share. The appetizers and Tandoori BBQ meats were great. The only things I didn't care for were the Masala and Curry sauces for it tasted more like marinara sauce and their Chicken Biryani looked and tasted more like Chicken Fried Rice.

Just tried this place, and it was really good! The food was really good and you can pick the level of heat you prefer. The service was excellent and the staff (I think were the owners) were so nice and definitely helpful. It's cute and quaint, and has street parking. They also offer a buffet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11-3, which I'm looking forward to trying.

Overall, the food was pretty good and I would return again if I was in the area. There's just an inconsistency with the quality/flavor of the foods that throws me off. Some were really good and others were not. Which I guess in my experience is odd for an Indian restaurant. Our server was sweet but seemed like he didn't quite have serving experience. Maybe a young family member or friend helping out. Which is fine but he just left the restaurant toward the end of our dinner and said nothing, didn't acknowledge he was ending his shift. We had to ask someone in the back for our check after no one checked on us. Pretty large menu. To start they give you pappadums with a mint sauce and a sweet sauce with a few pickled veggies. Highlights: aloo gobi - Really yummy flavor and would def order again. Hot sauce - no idea what it was exactly but I asked for something spicy and they gave me a bright red chili paste. Superrrrr good and spicy! I also liked their disco nan because it had all the flavors - ginger garlic and fresh chili pepper.Taj Mahal beer is so good and refreshing!Interesting - veggie fried rice. This was like a "Chinese" take out style fried rice. I tasted a lot of soy sauce and some type of nut, I think cashews. It was good but prob wouldn't get it at an Indian spot.Mid/would pass: Chicken curry was ok. Peppery. Yellow dal. Super watery and not flavorful. Chicken momo- I tried this because I've had homemade Tibetan momo. These were literally just frozen "gyoza" or at least they tasted like it. I can imagine the lunch buffet is a good deal and would return to try it out. They also have Indian style pizzas.

Absolutely 5 star Indian food. Big portions and very good tikka masala. The naan bread is great and this is probably one of the better Indian places I have been too. I think they have been opened a long time and have many regulars keeping them in business. Next time I go I am going to try their lunch buffet for sure. Food is made quick with very nice personnel and great service and they are on second street so they have an awesome vibe.

Delicious Indian dishes on 2nd Street. Very quaint little place with some outdoor seating. I love the lighting inside. I would say it's a great date spot, but also a cool place to meet with friends and family. There are literally 143 menu items! It was tough to pick just one, but I went with the Jeera Aloo. My friend chose the Aloo Gobi. Both were perfectly flavored. We picked mild for our spicy level, which had just the right amount for us. There were some street food options too, so we ordered the Bhel Puri in that section, and it was so good! There was a very holiday tasting spice in that one. It was a perfect plate for the season. I definitely recommend!

I sampled some of Natraj's food during the Belmont Shore Stroll and Savor event, and decided to come back to try their buffet lunch. I have been looking for more Indian buffets nearby since many were on pause due to the pandemic. The interior is not that big, but the buffet is quite extensive. The lighting is very bright white, and the decorations a bit gaudy, but it does remind me of my time actually in India.Service was minimal but friendly. A carafe of water was brought to my table, and to my surprise, masala chai (tea) was included! I love chai and the self-serve tea was a welcome treat (next to randomly included pizza). As mentioned, there are lots of hot food options and a salad bar plus dessert station. The mashed potato in the samosa is seasoned and more spiced than other samosas, which I enjoyed. The naan would have been better made fresh to order, but was garlic naan and still ok on the buffet. The fruit, mango dessert, and kheer (rice pudding) were a great way to end the meal. The lunch buffet costs $18.95+tax, so a little over $20 per person. Pricier than some other Indian buffets, but makes sense given the location, and the quality and variety of food were decent. Can't comment on how great it used to be in the past as it was my first visit dine-in, but I enjoyed my lunch buffet and would return!

Ordered again and shouldn't have, despite previous bad experience. This is my $100 deliver order in picture. 1 single piece of naan per order, and teeny tiny portions. Ordered large basmati rice and another dish was supposed to come with rice but didn't. Called to try to resolve and all they could offer is a free naan on my next order. Will never order again and don't recommend. Much better places nearby.

My husband and I were craving tikka masala and gave this place a shot a few months ago and now probably go here 2-3x a month! The tikka masala was flavorful and perfectly spiced, and the garlic naan was some of the best I've had--crispy on the outside and soft inside. The staff is friendly, but my only negative comment would be that they could be a bit more attentive and faster with greeting and taking orders. Despite that, the food was served quickly, especially considering it was cooked to order. Overall, a great spot for authentic Indian cuisine with just a bit of room for service improvement! I would still highly recommend if you have patience with knowing your meal will be delicious!Update: Went today and had a very attentive female waitress :) She said she's new and works part time until she returns back to university. Keep up the great work, we were very impressed with your service today!
