Nancy's Market

I grew up on Nancy's! So Nancy's is this hole in the wall liquor store that sales mexican food. Well actually it sales all types of food. It's owned by a family where the mother or dad would be cooking or manning the cashier register. The dad really takes pride in his store and everyone knows Louis! The store was named after his youngest and only daughter nancy! Now on to the food.I have had the tacos, hamburgers and burritos.. Now the burritos I have only had the steak. They are huge, cheap and really good. A lot of the workers in the area come and get lunch.. The ground beef tacos are also big, they come with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese once again really good you pretty much get whatever you want on them. Now this place is located in the hood and the only reason why I know about it is because growing up this was the place to go.. Personally I like this place better than Martha's in gardena.

After searching Yelp for a new burrito spot, I decided to give Nancy's a shot. I ordered a wet asada burrito and it was big which is always a plus, but the taste left something to be desired. The rice tasted of vinegar and lacked any other flavor; in fact with the exception of one bite the whole thing lacked flavor. I didn't even get much flavor from the cheese sauce. I wanted to like it soooo much because the owners are so sweet, but I won't be back.

This place is a hidden treasure that respects the value of your dollar. The owners are very proactive! Lets get down to business: the food. The size of my burrito was so big that it comes with a complimentary late night snack. Ingredients, were fresh and served hot. The only problem is forcing yourself to stop eating when you're beyond full but still have so much left on your plate. The tacos don't fall behind, the meat is seasoned to perfection and did the tortillas have a taste of the HEAVEN.This is a must for all!!!!

Soooo good!! I yelped a burrito place and this came up it's literally a hole in the wall that you will never imagine has the best burritos and food ever! The owners are the sweetest. Love this spot the burritos are sooo Effin good!

Good local market. Been in the community for at least 30 years at least. Family run, clean and good customer service

I've worked in Watts for the past 7 months now. I have been looking for a great local market that makes food read to order. By chance, I came across Nancy's market on Yelp. I am glad I did. I ordered the turkey burger with fries and a drink and it was only $6. The burger itself was delicious, with the right amount of mayo, mustard and ketchup. The fries and a drink were an added bonus for that kind of price. Great local spot with a fairly priced menu. P.S. It is a local market when you walk-in, the restaurant section is in the back! So walk in and go to the back to order your food.

I ordered an asada burrito, these guys are quick and it did not take too long to receive my food. Have you ever ordered food and felt guilty eating the whole thing. Well, when I received my burrito; it was huge, it was like cradling a baby. When it came time to unwrap it, I knew it would be heaven. The delightful taste is all you could smell. These burritos are perfect. The Taste, you just couldn't ask for more the flavor is all throughout each bite. Will definitely come back! The cashier is pretty cute too ;-)

I Love it! This place is very welcoming and the people that work their are very sweet!
