My favorite item on the menu is the el padrino burrito that comes with carne asada guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and refried beans. The carne asada has a good char that gives off that authentic mexican flavor that you expect in a burrito. I usually get it wet with red sauce and opt for the soup (abondiga). All meals come with a side of salsa and freshly fried chips.

Me and my family's childhood Mexican restaurant! It used to be called Lucios but underwent new management! I will say the cooks and servers are the same and the food is the same good quality! I always love getting their 1 taco and 1 enchilada combo that can go with beef or chicken + a carnitas taco. The rice is always amazing and the beans with the free chips are a great topper! The ambience has not changed one bit and it is always a great experience. Parking is pretty difficult as there is tons of street parking and only 2 designated parking spots in a parking lot across from them! But this place is a hidden gem in Old Torrance!

Some of the best Mexican food in the South Bay hands down! If you haven't had the chicken nachos you should! The service is so friendly and helpful! The vibe is very homey like family ! I always look forward to muy pronto !

I like to pick up from here for work lunches when I have the chance. So far although the quesadillas are basic, they are made good. I also have had their cheese enchiladas which are also good as well. Nice spot.. I actually like this spot over other Mexican food places close to my employment. Thanks.

MUY PRONTO appears to be the offspring of the longtime, famous local spot LUCIO's. I used to enjoy stopping by Lucio's for takeout, esp my fave the chile verde (pork) burrito, slathered in green sauce, topped with cheese, with a side garnish of lettuce. Great news! They still have my fave dish on the menu, although for a few bucks more (~$11). Quality, tasty food; nice sit down place, quiet ambiance but can get festive when las rancheras are playing. Great Mexican menu, much better and authentic than the touristy Mex place one block away. I've alos had the albondigas soup, reminds me of how mami used to make hers. Recommendation: thumbs up, check out this place, budget friendly just a lil more expensive that its predecessor. Gracias!

I ate here for the first time tonight and the food made me sad.It made me sad that I have never been here before. I phoned in and ordered a chimichanga for pickup, which comes with a choice of soup or salad. The interior was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly. I got home and opened the bag to find they included a generous amount of chips. The chimichanga was smothered in red sauce and the shredded beef was seasoned amazingly. It came with a side of rice and beans, which I thought was excessive at first. Once I took a bite, I changed my mind. These were the best refried beans I've ever had! The salsa was also incredible. I opted for the soup, albondigas, which I saved for later as I cannot eat one more bite. This order can easily make for 2 servings, if you have any self control... I do not.

Food was great and fresh. But the salsa was mind blowing. Definitely coming back. I got the fish tacos and they were really good. Not too much batter which is how I like it.

Came here with a friend since she highly recommended Muy Pronto's. She's been a regular for over a decade and was shocked that I've never been there before despite going to Old Town Torrance all the time. We got the carne asada and fish tacos, along with the taquitos. Highly recommend the fish tacos since the fish was crispy and crunchy. The carne asada and taquitos were also good as well. The service was pretty standard and quick, we came for lunch and the restaurant was really empty. While the food is pretty good, it is pretty expensive. Almost $5 for a fish taco is pretty expensive when you can find some cheaper tacos in the area.

Awesome lunch with the Awesome combo!I've had my eye on Muy Pronto for awhile and finally got a chance to try it during my holiday break. I got the No. 22 Awesome Combo for $19.99. This combo comes with releno, beef taco, carnitas taco and cheese enchilada. All combos come with Albondigas soup or salad, rice and refried beans. I chose the Albondigas soup and since I was planning to share with my mom I also got an additional small albondigas soup side for $4.50.The Awesome Combo was indeed big enough for sharing. I liked that the tacos it came with were the crispy version as well as the soft tortilla version. Both the beef and carnitas were hearty and meaty. I also really liked the Albondigas soup. I can see why that soup is a favorite for many. It was definitely a highlight of my lunch but I do have to note; the soup size was quite small. I thought $4.50 was a bit pricey for the size of the soup. It was definitely a good soup but just small and pricey for it's size.Overall Muy Pronto was a solid lunch spot and their combos are tasty! I am happy to have this spot in the South Bay.
