My wife and I are not breakfast people, but I decided to take her to Mr. Pete's Burger for breakfast because we had a lot of errands to run this morning, and we needed fuel to attack the day. We arrived around 10 am on Saturday, and the restaurant wasn't that busy. The ambiance felt friendly, with many "regulars" eating and vibing with the employees, which is always lovely to see. On my prior visits, I always ordered from the front counter, but this morning, I was asked to sit at any table, and they would have a waitress come to take our order. Their menu has various food options and specials like their Family Burger Pack.Today, my wife ordered Chorizo & Eggs breakfast, with hashbrowns, refried beans with cheese, a grilled jalapeño pepper, and a flour tortilla with a pico de gallo and salsa. I ordered their Steak and Eggs (scrambled), which came with hasbrown and white toast with butter, and Tina, our waitress, was very kind and attentive with our order. Once again, on my prior visits, they used to bring a bottle of ketchup and A1 Sauce, but this time, I received a dish with ketchup and a plastic cup with A1 Sauce, which I thought was something new and thought they were trying to cut costs.Our order took about 15 minutes, and I was surprised at how significant the portions were. Overall, the food was okay, not great, but just okay. Our food needed more flavor, but everything was saved with the condiments they gave us, like the A1 Sauce and their pico de gallo.In conclusion, this place is a good place to eat, and the customer service is always excellent, especially if Tina is serving you. Although the food needed a little love, it's not to the point for someone to altogether avoid this place. They might want to elevate the food quality to make this place five stars. With that said, I will come back again.

I was hesitant to order a $17 pastrami...and I should have followed my instincts. But I'm a sucker for a good pastrami. No flavor, meat was dry and rubbery. I asked for au juis for dipping. They gave me a red, oily, chili broth. Still no flavor. Burger was decent. Crispy fries were good.

The food here is not the best, but it's not the worst either. The customer service is always decent. I've only been inside a few times, but it was pretty clean each time. The prices have gone up, but I guess that's just how the economy is these days. I usually come here maybe two or three times a year. I recently got a bacon cheeseburger, and it was alright. It's not the best burger I've ever had, but it was okay.

Came in for chili cheese fries and they half assed my order there was barely any chili and hella cheese to cover it I asked them to add more chili but they said I'd have to pay extra ... I told them how do I have to pay extra when you did a shitty job? They said that's how it is.. I said ok then remake me one. They said ok but then tried to make me pay again.. how does that make any sense to try and make me double pay ? I asked the cashier for the name of the cook but she said it was private ... girl what ? I asked for name of her manager and number but she was too scared to give it? Saying it was confidential. I get home from drive thru, we tear open those greasy bags, the kids are super hungry, and I'm too tired to cook, dent judge I made home made bread last week from my sourdough starter, I swear they eat home cooked meals!Our order was wrong, my chicken sand which was all wrong, I loathe thousand island and it was smothered in it. They also messed up my child's order. Too damn tired to drive back so I just ate it with a fuchi face. It's on the pricey side for a burger joint so I was expecting for them to at least get the order correctly. Nothing really special as far as super tasty or anything. The kids like the burgers so I will be back. I would also like to note that for some reason my kids like this woodruff location better than the firestone one. They cant tell me why, go figure.
