I've been going to Mr. Lee's since their first location and let me tell you.. this new location is DEFINITELY a step up. THERE'S PARKING!! lol The last location had you fighting for street parking leaving parking in the restaurants complex parking a mere wish. They now have a buffet style area where you can pick all the sides you want! No more asking for more rice or fish cakes. Just get up and serve yourself. Easy! Drinks have refills as well. Asking your server for more menu items was super easy. They were very attentive and fast. I love that they still have the option for cooked meat. Sometimes you just want some k-bbq without having to do the work lol All in all I am very pumped that this place is still in business and upgraded without compromising who they are. 100% recommend!

Good for large groups, self serve banchan and better ventilation than some other AYCE places. I wasn't satisfied with the quality. Nothing stood out. But I'd still go again for convenience of location and the large space. It's ok/good but nothing to write home about. I'm a terrible AYCE customer. I never eat enough to justify the cost. To me nothing is particularly outstanding and it's more about quantity. I try to enjoy the banchan, a little of everything. While ordering as much spicy marinated meats. Service was great even for our large party with a bunch of kids.

I remember coming here many years ago when it had different owners. I had no idea it had reopened and on MLK day, many KBBQs in the area were not offering lunch specials which was absolutely frustrating. We came here because their prices seemed very fair and I was really craving KBBQ.Well the entire experience was meh. Yes, we were seated immediately; upon asking for meat, we were told that we can only order up to 3 plates at a time. The server only brought us two for the first round and after this, we did not see him again for like twenty minutes. He eventually shows up after attending pretty much every other table except ours and changes our grill, brings us more meat (only two plates again). From then on, we were attended by two other servers who were more inclined to come check up on us, which was good but this inconsistency in service surely does not go unnoticed.Though the meat itself was not bad, the items at the buffet were not very good. Everything I piled onto a plate, besides the radish paper, was really cold and you just knew after tasting it that it had been sitting out for an hour or two. Even though the place is huge, I guess they do not get enough people to be constantly moving out old sides and putting in new ones. One thing I should note is that the bathroom was very much not clean. By the urinals, there was a big puddle on the floor and they looked like they had not been clean since last week. Yikes.

Mr. Lee's was a great gem to find after my go-spot was overly crowded over the weekend! The wait wasn't long and the service was good! We had never been to this location as our waitress was patient in explaining how their AYCE works. I appreciated that the menu was simple and straight to the point. The buffet was also filled with an array of options to accompany the proteins which was great. I thought it was great how large this place was & observed that hosting large parties wouldn't be difficult here because they have ample space. The proteins were ordered from the menu A and we got both beef and chicken. Next time we'll probably order off of menu B to have more of a variety of options because we chose not to eat pork. The check was very reasonable and I'll absolutely be returning!

My cousins and I had lunch here last weekend. Such a huge location! I like that you can make a reservation! The meats are very fresh! And they do a great job coming to ask if you need more. You can only order three meats at a time, per grill. I also like the buffet areas, so you can get the sides as you please. There is also fruits, jello, chicken and dumplings. There is a 90min time limit. Starts when your reservation starts, regardless if people in your party haven't all showed up.

Check into the waitlist on Yelp unless ur willing to wait in person. We opted to come here during lunch (1PM) and there was a line out the door to get into the restaurant. Once we were seated, the server came by to take both our drink and food orders. We opted for the beef brisket, beef belly, bulgogi, and pork belly. I suggest ordering double for the first round. In the next few rounds, the portions were much smaller but the staff came around often enough for there to be no wait on the food. The price includes the buffet (rice paper, kimchi, spicy cucumber kimchi, Korean potato salad, lettuce, salad dressings, fried chicken, miso soup, fruits, etc). The drinks were Coke products and Soju/Beer.

The food was excellent, as always, and the service was prompt. The beef (or pork, depending on your preference) was beautifully marbled, resulting in a juicy and flavorful bite with the perfect amount of fat.

Many years ago, the Mr. Lee's on South St. in Artesia/Cerritos was my OG KBBQ spot that started my KBBQ obsession. It's nice to see it evolve a bit more to cater to the big deal that KBBQ is now.First off, this place is HUGE. There is SO much seating and huge tables. When you go into a room, you take a peak around the corner and there is another huge room with more tables! I came in on off hours on a Sunday, so I'm curious to see what it's like when it's REALLY busy.Service - I came during off-hours so the service was attentive and fast. Again, I would have to come back during busy times to see if it's just as good. Food - good quality meats, the salad buffet style banchan is always the best because we then don't have to share a measly bite of a side dish between multiple people. I can stack a plate of my kimchi and potato salad and that's that. That's for meeeeee. They also advertise that you do have to pay extra if you want Kalbi short ribs. Will definitely be returning because I loved it very much.

This review is based on all the times I've gone which have been more than 10 times. What I do like about this place is that you get your money's worth every time as dining in is very affordable and the portions are very reasonable and its why my wife loves coming to this kbbq compared to other like Gen. I also enjoy that your meats are always brought on time and just quick service overall. The staff here may not always be in a good mood but given that they're understaffed most of the time it's understandable. What I will say needs improvement is overall cleanliness of the place as there's been times where I have to change plates because of how dirty they are and the restrooms are usually left unattended and are rarely restocked with paper towels, soap, etc. That being said when we did encounter a problem with a cockroach at our table, the hostess was quick to respond and they offered to give us a refund. I also would like to see the team improve during peak hours or really busy days as the team gets overwhelmed real quick and falls apart fast, as an example from our last visit this valentines day, the hostess removed everyone from the yelp waitlist and just started seating people randomly without taking in consideration of us who were first on the waitlist. Other than that the place is pretty good and I would recommend it to people just not during holidays and/or during peak hours.
