Yuck .. yuck .. yuck... I came today and was very disappointed . I always pass by and thought I would give this a try . My boyfriend and I ordered the steak special and it was so bad I took one bite and left everything. The service was okay, wasn't asked how the food was and when I asked for the check he seen my food wasn't touched and didn't ask if everything was alright. The quality of steak was like a patty not even chewable and the chowder tasted like gravy with no clams at all. This is officially the worst food I've ever tried. Won't be back

The first time I came for breakfast on the weekend it was pretty good and service was great. I came for lunch during the week and the food absolutely horrible although the service was still good. The hamburger special supposed to be a 1/3 lb and the meat wasn't even a 1/4 lb and was oblong and much smaller than the bun and cooked til it was dry. The salad was wilted and looked like it was sitting in a pool of water before put on my plate. I don't know how a place would have the audacity to serve a salad that bad. I also ordered chili cheese fries and the fries were dense and stale tasting as if they fried some freezer burned fries. I don't think I'll be coming back here. I wanted to give it a chance but I now understand why the place looks empty and lonely all the time. Reminding me of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

Omg this was a spur of the moment choice, but a great one. Once inside Mr. G greeted and made me feel at home. I felt like I was going into my grandparents home for breakfast. And that's exactly what my breakfast tasted like, it was as if my grandmother was reincarnated in his kitchen lol. The food Well seasond and cooked with love the end. I'll definitely be back.

Great omelette (The International). Love that we could sub one pancake in for the toast! And WARM syrup! Can't beat that. Hash browns were flavorful and crispy, yum.The waitress's service was quick, efficient and friendly. The food came out fairly quickly too. All in all a very enjoyable and successful experience! We'll be back as it's even in walking distance from our home.

Tried this place. The food was okay. Had the French Toast Special. The bacon was to my liking. Well done but not burnt and the sausage was good. The hash browns could have been crispy on both sides instead of just one side. The French toast was cooked pretty hood. The service was pretty good. They weren't Mr busy when we went but they started getting busy when we were close to finishing.

My wife and I are retired and we both love going out for breakfast. We have been looking for a special breakfast location in the south bay for some time and tried Mr. G's. It is BY FAR our favorite location - it is a fun, family owned cafe with an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We often share one of the weekday breakfast specials of 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, and 2 french toasts for $8.99. You can't beat the food, the price and the friendly staff. We are now Mr. G's regulars.

The food is so-so, sometimes flat in flavor. We stopped going there after a few times because the proprietor adds a fee for using a credit card to cover the cost of the meal. We eat out a few times a month and have not had to pay for a charge that the owner of the business is responsible for.
