Movita Juice Bar - The Circle

We stumbled upon this shop because my daughter and I ate at Simply Salad and my husband and son ate at Jimmy John's and this cute little smoothie shop is sandwiched between the two! After we ate, we stopped in and all got smoothies. My husband and I got the banana peanut butter and our kids got the mucho mango. They were so rich and creamy, they felt like ice cream! Word to the wise- be careful to check that the plastic top is secure on the rim of yours before you punch the straw through; because mine was not and when I punched it through, it exploded all over my face, shirt, pants and dash board lolWhen my husband was leaving, my son asked to be picked up and my husband set down their Hydroflasks. He unknowingly left without them and didn't realize until we got home. He thought for sure they were a goner, but I called back just in case they happen to have them and they did! I was so happy. So we ended up returning the next day and ordering another round of smoothies because they were so good. There is a lot more on the menu I want to try. Check this place out!

I signed up for the app back in June. I got a surprise coupon this month for my birthday. The month is almost over so I went tonight to redeem my coupon. I decided on the Fruit Max açaí bowl. It comes with mango but I'm not a fan so I asked for extra strawberries instead; it wasn't a problem at all. :) The bowl was delicious!! The fruit was so fresh. Sweet too (not sour at all). I shared it with my husband and he enjoyed it as well.The guy helping me was friendly and my bowl came out quickly. I recommend checking Movita out.

I came here to get the green blend. I really love the smoothie! The workers are not that friendly but that's okay. I was a bit upset tho because they don't even fill up your cup all the way. I asked the workers and she said she has to fill it to the line??? Like umm ... I didn't pay to get a smaller portion. Not happy. I don't feel like I got my moneys worth when they don't want to fill up my cup!! This is right after I got it. So it's not like there was foam or anything. If anything the drink went down more !!!! This really ruined the experience for me. I have gotten the large in the past and it is full to the top. Look at other customers pictures and you can see their drinks are full. Ugh, very disappointing Parking can get busy but easy to find.

In my quest to eat healthier, I recently joined Movita Juice Bar's rewards program since Movita has been rapidly expanding around SoCal, and I want to do what I can to better my health after seeing some numbers exacerbate this past year.I've had their smoothies before, but never an acai bowl, and the Quick Meal caught my eye only because I wanted a quick meal lol. After exploring a nearby park, I felt a Quick Meal from Movita would hit the spot.This Movita Juice Bar is located by the traffic circle between Simply Salad and Jimmy John's. They have a few tables inside and outside, but the parking lot isn't too spacious by any means. There is a Raising Cane's on the other side of that lot, and if you know about their drive thrus, you really do know. I parked in a spot that would almost be blocked off by a car waiting in the drive thru line; a couple more spaces over, and it probably would have been as difficult as it was getting out of the Pike Outlets Parking Structure on the night of Thunder Thursday, IYKYK.When I arrived, there were a few customers waiting for their orders, but no one was in line to order. There were only a couple of girls working behind the counter, so I had to wait a while before one of them came to ring me up.After telling her I wanted the Quick Meal, I was asked if I would like to upgrade my Quick Meal from an acai base. There were two options for such an upgrade, and I went with the proats, which is short for protein oats. I don't remember what the other option was, but the proats seemed like the healthier option that could better my health numbers.The cashier (Dahlia?) seemed pretty bashful when ringing me up, so it's hard for me to say she or even her co-worker appreciated my business.After paying for my Quick Meal, I hit the print button to print a receipt, but I was told they ran out of ink. Ugh, I wish I had known that first! Otherwise, I could have picked a different option instead. They also spelled my first name pretty badly (Darik) on my bump ticket. Are they trying to be the new Starbucks now??I asked how long I'd have to wait, and Dahlia estimated about 10 minutes. I had to use the restroom, and they luckily have one in the far corner of the shop. No joke, but literally 3 seconds after I left the restroom, I heard my name. I swear, I wasn't in there that long, so why was I told 10 at first?! Seems kind of odd if you ask me. I would have been willing to wait longer to take a look at their merch, but maybe next time.My bowl was placed inside a Movita paper bag alongside a spoon and a napkin. The bowl is uniquely designed in that you can only open the bowl, but you can't actually close it. I wouldn't call it idiot-proof because I struggled so hard at opening the bowl I was fearing that everything in the bowl would fly out once I'd finally pry that thing open.Everything in the bowl tasted pretty fresh, as it should be for a business model that Movita Juice Bar is following. However, the taste wasn't that great, which I'm not saying it should have, but I felt like I was sacrificing a great deal of taste in order to reap the health benefits of that Quick Meal. I'm sure I would have liked it better after an intense workout; all the customers I witnessed during my visit had gym clothes on.They also have a menu at the order counter, but the way it's laid out almost makes it look like a touchscreen that you use to place your order. I made that mistake at first and felt like such a fool in front of Dahlia lol.After finishing my quick meal of the Quick Meal, I was glad to see the points added to my Movita rewards account, but I was disappointed that had I gone a couple hours earlier, I could have gotten double points for their happy hour, which runs from 2 PM to 5 PM on weekdays. During that same timeframe, they also offer $6 cold brews. If I'm not working during those hours, I'd totally take advantage of this opportunity!Overall, not a bad Movita Juice Bar. They're expanding quickly and hope to open more locations closer to me soon. If that happens, I may not return to this particular location for a while, but if this is the closest location to you, it's a good option for healthy, but not necessarily tasty, eats.

I'm super impressed with this juice and açaí place! I love getting my greens and fruits in one way or another, and this spot did that for me. My friend and I decided to have a beach day, so we grabbed açaí bowls and drinks to enjoy by the shore. The interior is spotless, and the service was impressively fast considering our large order. I had the Fruit Max bowl and the fiber green juice--both were delicious. Now I feel like a healthy gworl since I got my greens in! :)

I really like Movita, but the lack of customer service is making it hard to come back. This is the third time I've come here and employees are rude! Movita should train their staff on basic customer service and how to be friendlier to people.

I am a HUGE FAN of Movita! I originally tried their acai bowl and it was refreshing and packed with toppings. I have recently been going for the Mr. Coffee meal replacement shake after my Cyclebar classes and it starts my day off right. It truly keeps me full for a while and simultaneously tastes delicious. I like how brightly lit the store is, it is very welcoming.

I love their smoothie and bowl options. The line to order and get your items is never too long. They are pretty efficient in getting orders made, even if there are a few people in line. The wait is worth it because the smoothies and bowls are awesome!

"I came here this morning to pick up my online order that I placed at 8:53 a.m. I got to this location within 2 minutes since l live close. When I walked in, no one greeted me. There were two people working: a young man and a young lady who couldn't be more than 23 years old.I was waiting at the cash register, and nobody even acknowledged me. I went to the online order counter and saw my drinks sitting there. I waited another 5 minutes to see if they were going to call my name to pick up my order since it was an online order. Nope, no one chose to do so. After waiting more than 15 minutes for my drinks, it was now 9:13. I went to the counter and said, "Excuse me, I believe my drinks are ready." The girl said, "I don't know. What did you order?" I said, "Those drinks on the counter: two Mr. Originals and a peanut butter banana smoothie." She looked at my drinks, picked all three of them up, and handed them to me. No napkins, no bag, or a carry-out tray. What sense does that make? The customer service needs to be better. Horrible customer service! I hope the owners see this review and coach the staff on their customer service ethics."

Amazing service and great products. I will definitely come back. This place is always so clean.
