Good ambiance, service, and food. Chicken katsu curry was crispy and leaned on the spicier side for Japanese curry. The pork belly and beef tongue skewers were also good.

Cute Japanese izakaya vibes!! Came for my cousins birthday. Good variety of food options for those that love Sushi, skewers, apps, meats, & more! Staff were kind and friendly. Wasn't a long wait if you get here at opening quickly filled up on a weekend though. Would definitely come back and try more food. Uni pasta & rib eye cap steak were my faves!! Also ordered the gizzard, spicy pork, scallops, eggplant, and salmon belly's

My favorite dishes were the chankonabe, uni cream pasta, and cold soba. They just do their flavoring so good. Deep flavors yet still not overpowering to get tired of it. I also enjoyed the chicken skin and shio chicken skewers.I had no wait on a Thursday evening and my food came out at a good place after I ordered. The servers were so nice and attentive as well, checking in on us occasionally.Their menu is extensive and their restaurant is so nice to sit in. I'd love to come back to try more stuff!

Went here with some friends for a galentines dinner and it was a good experience. It started off really strong with great appetizers, sushi and drinks. The sushi was really fresh and they didn't skimp on the slices here. I loved the drink i got and it was a good price too!The services were all very friendly and nice and attentive. They always checked on us and refilled our water when they stopped by. The actual yakitori and skewers were just alright though. Standout pieces were the ribeye cap and pork jowl but others were a miss. You also need to pair and dip the skewers in salt since it's on the lighter side. Some of the skewers were also really burnt and dry. However they did mention their oven wasn't working as well so I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it might've been an off night. I would probably only come back for the sushi, some appetizers and drinks, and pass on the skewers.

The chicken karaage had a yuzu aftertaste which was very unique. The mentaiko udon was delicious as well. The salmon carpaccio was okay, but it might've just been an off day.PARKINGThere's a lot of parking at the plaza but the restaurant entrance faces the street. I had to walk around the corner to find the front door.

Came here for the first time on a Friday night. A lot of parking spaces at the plaza. We got seated right away. Place is clean and spacious with lots of seating. There's variety of food selection from sashimi, yakitori, noodles, and appetizers. Great customer service. A must-try place if you're in the Anaheim area.

Walking into the restaurant is like being transported into a traditional wooden Japanese house that fused with a modern American restaurant. The exterior is a nondescript building on the side of a busy thoroughway, but you are met with a beautiful miniature landscape once you walk inside, complemented by the polished wooden tableware and thoughtful decor.The food is fantastic, the skewers are perfectly grilled. It is unsalted but use the chili powder and salt that is provided on the table liberally! It really brings out the flavor of the meat. The chirashi bowl was definitely a highlight, lots of high quality fish on a bed of seasoned rice - well worth the money. The one lowlight of the meal was the cocktails. The presentation was sorely lacking and the flavor was overwhelmingly alcoholic. Overall, a great meal in a restaurant with terrific ambiance and service!

The Okonomiyaki was pretty good for its size make sure to get extra sauce. Also got the sashimi salad and yellow tail hand roll those I would recommend as the sashimi cuts are a good size. Great place for quick night izakaya food!

This was my first time here, and I loved it! The sashimi and hand rolls were fresh and tasted amazing.I really liked the salmon sashimi and the special rolls.Kirin on tap is my first choice in the Japanese restaurant. The staff very friendly.I'll definitely come back again. Highly recommend it!
