MooMoo is probably the best all-you-can-eat hot pot restaurant in Irvine, and I would even say it's unmatched in the area. Not only does it offer a wide variety of fresh ingredients, but it also provides an impressive selection of soup bases. Whether you're a fan of the classic spicy broth, the rich and flavorful mushroom broth, or the lighter tomato soup, there's something to satisfy everyone's taste. It's hard to think of any other place in Irvine that can compete with this level of quality, haha!

Good services and food!!! Staffs are nice!!!The hotpot experience here was amazing! The ingredients were fresh, and the broth was incredibly flavorful. The meat was tender, and the variety of vegetables and dipping sauces made the meal even better. The service was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The ambiance was cozy, making it a perfect spot for a gathering with friends or family. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving a delicious and authentic hotpot experience!

We were in Irvine earlier and I can tell you that this is for me one of the very best Premium Shabu /Hot Pot Place in LA. For $58.99 you get wagyu and other premium meat plus each person gets a serving of a lobster tail and giant scallops served either raw that you can cook in the hotpot or cooked for free. we opted for the ginger onion and it was served in a bed of noodles (there are 2 other options which we will try when we come back) . That itself was worth the price plus all the wagyu meat was outstanding. Our favorite was the Wagyu brisket followed by the snowflake and chuck roll. They also have a lot of seafood which we will try next time . They have a bar for sauces and side dishes (fried wings, wagyu fried rice, tender beef cooked in a lot of garlic). They also had seaweed salad, Spicy Cucumber salad, kimchi and others). The only thing is that if you are vegetarian this place might not be good for you as there was not a lot of vegetables . there was plenty of drinks to choose from , sprite or coke, cold sweetened and unsweetened tea, hot tea. The food was outstanding and the service was good ( a bit slow but which I can overlook because everything else was great). You end the meal with a dessert and their cheesecake is delicious. we will definitely be back. Visit them you won't regret it

Came here to celebrate my birthday and they have two different prices for all you can eat. If you love seafood and better quality meat, the 59 dollar combo is a way to go, since my family doesn't like seafood as much as myself, we sticks with the 39 dollar one and it's still worth it! You got a lot of hotpot options and still get free drinks, cooked food, soup and desserts. Just keep in mind you only got 90 mins to eat and also kids under 8 is 40 percent off but above is regular price. They also offer elderly discount as well. In my opinion, I think it's worth it bc regular shabu place will be about 30 bucks per person.

A solid hot pot place in the Irvine area! This place does get pretty busy so just make sure to come earlier to put your name down. The host was super nice and she came around quite often to check on us. We just went for the regular menu and I honestly think that's perfectly enough. Out of all the cuts I loved the beef short plate. It was extremely tender. I also really enjoyed their ginger sauce, which is pretty unique. Also, they do have ice cream at the end. I do wish the other servers can be around more often since we waited a while to get additional rounds of meats. However, it is a soft opening and all the servers were working super hard. Some of the side dishes at the self serve bar were misses and there wasn't much variety. The drinks are also included! We enjoyed the yogurt drink. This place us definitely worth the visit.

I love Shabu Shabu. I love Wagyu meat. The meat is so good! I was looking forward to trying this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The AYCE lunch option was under $30. To encourage you to fill up your appetite and eat less Wagyu meat, they have delicious hot plates. Crispy salted shrimps. Crawfish. Fried rice and garlic noodles. Three types of soups. The servers took their time to turn on the stove and bring me the broth I knew their tactics to get me to eat other foods. Usually I can resist but their hot foods are so amazingly good. In fact, I would pay just to eat their side foods buffet. There's only two beef options. I didn't want to waste my stomach on pork or chicken. The fattier meat was so good! Wow! And their sauce buffet was very complete. I love it!They have ver fresh vegetables and mushrooms. Their broth was very tasty as well. For Thinsulin fans, there's plenty of green light options. I will definitely come back here.

After seeing numerous Instagram posts advertising MooMoo Hot Pot, we knew we had to give the place a try when we arrived in Irvine. We were happy to find out they were open on New Year's Eve, and had no trouble getting a table for three. Our waitress was friendly, but a bit soft spoken, as it was difficult to hear everything she said the first time around. We got in our drink orders in for the Beijing Yogurt; and our first round of meats and seafood. The Beijing Yogurt is exactly as it sounds, yogurt in a cup that you drink with a straw. Thankfully, they had a couple of tea options in the central food court. We liked that each person does get their own choice of broths and that there were numerous options. I had the Thai Tom Yum while my lovely friend had the Spicy Beef Tallow. Our third guest had the Tonkotsu; she initially wanted the original bone broth but we were given the heads up that it's pretty flavorless. The Tom Yum broth was nice a flavorful and a bit sweet as it appears to have the coconut milk. My lovely friend did say her Spicy Beef Tallow was good but a bit spicier than expected. We put in the order for the Deluxe Seafood Combo that we are limited one to, waygu brisket, beef short ribs, fried tofu skin, and MooMoo Shrimp paste for the first round, and went to the food court for appetizers, veggies, and other items. I think we were a bit hungry at that point as we probably ate more from the food court area than we should with the main course being the hot pot. In any case, the items from the food court were pretty good, and the hot and spicy soup was not half bad. We also grabbed tofu veggies, quail eggs, and other seafood items for the hot pot as well. They also had the many options to make your own dipping sauce which is a must for these type of hot pot places. You can also grab unsweetened black tea, sweetened lemon green tea, and cold water here. They had boba and jelly addons for your tea as well.Once we got back to the table and turned on the heat to our broths, we started with our appetizers while we waited for our orders to come out. First items that came out were the MooMoo shrimp paste, wagyu brisket, beef short ribs, and fried tofu skin. The presentation for the waygu brisket was nice and it had an excellent texture to it, which one would expect with waygu brisket. The short ribs were pretty tasty as well. The tofu skin was exactly what you would expect and came out in large pieces. The shrimp paste, once cooked, came out as tender shrimp balls, and had an excellent taste and texture to them. When the Deluxe Seafood Combo came out, it was definitely a presentation, with lobster tails, large scallops, abalone, Tiger shrimp, and green mussels. Truth be told, we were already getting quite full, and kinda struggled to finished this one. Everything was great, but we already had our fill of stuff. We ordered dessert in the form of the cheese cake, strawberry Oreo and matcha ice cream. I enjoyed the strawberry ice cream. And tasted the cheese cake and Oreo ice cream. The cheesecake wasn't too good, and the Oreo ice cream didn't taste quite right. I did remember seeing in the Instagram posts that they provide you with boba on your way out, but we didn't get anyone mentioning that to us. In any case, MooMoo Hot pot was pretty good, and if you can eat more than we did, you can get your money's worth.

Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday, and they did not disappoint with the choices of meat and side bars. I got the Thai-Tom Yum soup base and holy cow was it so good! I'd get it again, no doubt! The side bars was satisfactory, balanced between your veggies, a wide-variety of protein choices, and your cooked side dishes. The sauce bar is too fun I went back several times to try different combinations. The drinks bar had great yoghurt drink, black tea, and water--along with boba pearls or red beans to add into your drink. They also serve noodles in a pack to add to your base and of course rice in the cooker. I can't wait to go back because as our first time with my parents, we went for the $60/ person that includes the deluxe seafood combo and other seafood choices apart from the wagyu and other meat options. Super good!
