Mogu Mogu

I love mogu mogu and their mazemen! it's super flavorful and has a good mix of of all the ingredients i usually like getting the tokyo cause it has a little kick to it and i add lots of the sesame seeds and vinegar provided on the table good portion size and they will also give you a small scoop of rice at the end to add it to the sauce which also tastes amazing!

Great food, service, and pricing.They have a minimal amount of items for their happy hour, but good items to choose from.It is in a strip mall area parking is not an issue. However, it is a smaller restaurant, so during peak lunch and especially during dinner, expect a wait. The turnover is pretty quick so the wait time is not too long.The deluxe is always the go to when eating here - would definitely recommend this dish.

Went on a Sunday around 6pm and there was no wait for 2! It started filling up a bit after we got there.I got the vegan Tokyo mazemen and it was so good! One of the best dishes I've had recently. They have a good amount of noodles and the dry sauce was umami and so tasty! The avocado, brussel sprouts, mushrooms and plant-based meat were all great toppings! They then give you a small scoop of rice to mix in with everything after! I had enough to have leftovers for another mealOn top of this, very kind and attentive staff! Will be back for sure

I had some takeout from here for a gathering - I got the curry mazemen. I had some high hopes since I don't usually eat ramen without broth and I also really enjoy curry, but it was pretty salty and really spicy, so I got a pretty bad stomachache afterwards. I wish there were more vegetables to balance out the intensity of the saltiness and spiciness. The flavor was alright, nothing crazy special - it didn't really taste like curry. I'd like to try something else next time.

Really good maze soba! People in Irvine talk so much about menya hanabi but I believe this is the spot to go instead. This place is tucked away in an unimpressive strip mall in costa mess but this place is always filled with people taking their lunch breaks here. We love their deluxe which includes basically everything and two slices of charred pork belly. The noodles were extremely bouncy and chewy and the flavors mixed together were delicious. Don't forget to add in their homemade vinegar halfway. They also provide a small bowl of rice to add at the end to soak up all the sauce after you finish the noodles.Overall, really good. The portion size was great as well. The servers were also super nice. I got nothing to complain here.

Hole in the wall mazemen....don't know if I have ever run into one in Southern California. But we found one! A little busy, but we were able to get seated pretty quickly since it was just the two of us. We got the Deluxe Mazemen and Karaage bowl. Both were delicious! I can't resist karaage when it is on the restaurants menu. This was also labeled as one of the house favorites, so was the Deluxe mazemen. I needed more rice to finish what was left over in our mazemen bowl, but that was a fun experience. Staff is superb...very knowledgeable and I always love when they ask is this your first time and if it is they explain the process for you. It is also great when any of the staff members can help you with anything you have questions about. Sometimes I find it frustrating just trying to hunt down that one waiter/waitress and they are no where to be found, but THEY are the only ones who can help you. Seating is limited inside, so be patient during busy times. We went on a Saturday around 6pm. Maze means to "mix" in Japanese, so that's what you do mix, mix, mix those noodles and sauces together!

Went here on a Sunday evening and it was a little busy but we were still seated right away. The servers were friendly and checked up on us which I appreciated! I ordered the Vegan Tokyo Mazemen and also got an order of the Furikake French Fries. I really enjoyed the Vegan Tokyo Mazemen! The added spicy chili sauce was nice! It was spicy but not too spicy! I subbed the avocado in for the broccoli and I thought it was a nice addition! The dish was very filling too! I also liked the plant based meat with the sauce and all the different ingredients! The Furikake French fries were good but nothing outstanding. The fries were a mix of soggy and crispy. I wish they added a little more Furikake. Overall I really enjoyed the meal and would come back!

I find it difficult to find mazemen spots let alone a place that does it this well! I've tried Mogu Mogu twice now and I can easily say it's my favorite spot for dry ramen noodles. I got the Tokyo both times and loved it through and through. The meat is juicy and flavorful, the toppings add the perfect touch to the noodles, and I love how they even give you a small bite of rice to mix in with the leftover sauce at the end. It's evident they thought it all through and are very intentional with how they serve their dishes. That's what I love so much about Mogu Mogu!The restaurant isn't particularly large, but there's a decent number of tables. The wait got pretty long when they first opened but I've found the line to not be so bad anymore. My most recent visit was with a group of 7 and we were able to be seated almost immediately on a Friday night.

came on a friday evening and it surprisingly wasn't as packed as i thought it would be. however, around 6:45, more and more people started coming in and i saw some folks waiting outside. we go the mogu chicken, which we really liked. the dipping sauce was a nice addition but you don't even need it! i got the california tonkatsu non spicy and it was another excellent choice. the broth was super flavorful! super good place, i'd definitely come back

Small unassuming restaurant in a little plaza, that has lots of flavor. Was really surprised with the quality of the food and how filling it was. Will definitely be back to try some more menu items
