Maui Sushi & Teriyaki

I've been a customer for the last 20 years. Maui is always good. My favorites include, big bear roll, shrimp tempura & egg rolls.

I would highly NOT recommend coming to this sushi restaurant. I found not one hair but multiple hair in my sushi roll, embedded in the rice and in the ginger. It was quite disappointing and disgusting. When I called and told the person what had happened. This person mention she hated working there and that she could refund my money, then she said she can't. When I asked for the manager she said he was out and to call back if I wanted to speak with him.

This has been one of the go to spots ever since I was a kid. Always have great staff! Joey is always very patient and helpful each time I visit. I attempt to try a different roll whenever I go. The Diana Roll is a really good one! Definitely give this place a try if you haven't!

FAVORITE NEW SPOT! Definitely a hidden gem. Food was absolutely amazing & fresh quality. Service is nice, there was only one guy walking atound but he was very attentive to everyone. Ambiance is lovely with the beautiful decorations and layout!

Maui is my go to local sushi restaurant. Although service has declined a bit since COVID, the food is great. I typically order the baked salmon roll or the unagi roll and the sweet and spicy chicken. My daughter loves the udon here as well. I will always love the parasols on the ceiling. Such a unique touch of decor!

We stopped here because we where on the area. NO REGRETS .... Sushi was AMAZING AMD THE teriyaki beef plate all very good portions. Taste amazing

Hidden gem !! In my opinion this is the best sushi in LA County, everything is always fresh and tasty. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. A must try !!

Everything needs to improve the waitress is sorry ask her to clean the table. She didn't make an effort and clean it correctly. She forgot her drink. She forgot other people refills. They're bringing out the food to different people. I can't believe this place went downhill bad I do not recommend this place to anybody anymore. The waitress is not good at all.

Fresh food, clean establishment, friendly employees, decent prices, wait time isn't bad.

Excellent bbq chicken and teriyaki chicken plate. great service. A perfect choice for a comforting meal after work.
