My food is always good we'll seasoned crispy prices are good definitely recommend if you in the area great customer service

I love fried fish ! This is def a lil gem in Compton as the front may look a lil run down to others . This is not a dine in establishment, this is a pick up your food & go location. I called my order in and when I got there it was ready. I went with the 2 fish/6 shrimp lunch combo .. I picked the red snapper .. YUMMY . The seasoning & fry was on point ! Didn't care much for the slices of bread they provide but there for the fish at the end of the day. If you like lemons make sure to ask for extra extra they only game me a lil slice :( LOL . The fellas in here were super nice ! Not sure if they have a parking lot but I just parked right in front & went right in . Most def will be back here when in the area .

The food is delicious! Seasoned perfectly with the right amount of crunch! In got the family meat, large portion size for a family 5. Affordable. Food was fresh and hot.

Where do I start, this is one of my favorite fish markets. The seasoning, how it's fried and the fast service. Great customer service, very clean inside and out. You can't go wrong with Matt's fish market.

Food was below average, at best and left a foul smell. Coleslaw was too sweet and totally untraditional. And to top it off, they put the heels of bread in the order I've been in Compton 69 years and I stopped eating at Matt's, almost 20 yrs and will Never do business there again!!There's much better fish in Compton and the surrounding area - we only went there because our regular business was closed. The customer service is bleak

The food and service is unmatched here. I go out of my way to get some seafood. You can tell the fish and shrimp is fresh and the oil is clean. Staff is super friendly too

everything order shrimp & fries u won't regretI fly here just for matts and other food spots

I live 2.1 miles from this place, it was my first time there. My food was piping hot when I got back home! It was delicious
