Are you considering Korean food for your wedding, event, birthday, or church gathering?Stop and please read this review. This is from my personal experience and it blew my mind, how amazing the owners of this establishment are and the quality of the food!My wife and I were looking for a Korean catering company for our wedding reception and we originally leaned towards BanChan Catering in Koreatown. However, in the process of getting options and estimates, we held off on it and looked elsewhere. We were able to find Matchon within days and decided to stop by the store.The owners here are a Korean couple that have been in this industry for over two decades and the food is made with love and quality --- they strive for tastiness partnered by healthiness.The store is located inside of a plaza building so it may be hard to find from the outside but once you park in the address listed, go inside the building and you will find alongside other shops.All I can say about Matchon is that I will be returning as a customer and will not go anywhere else when it comes to Korean catering. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I have been getting the lunch box catering delivered to my work from this place and I have to say they are not bad... But at the same time, it's not the best either. LOLFor the convenience and the moderate price (currently $9 + tax) for a delivered meal, I can't complain.I would really like the food to be delivered HOT.... Everything delivered is too cold. =(

Our company ordered lunch catering and its already over a year. Overall, the food is perfect. Honestly every company have there own lunchtime and it might be getting cold but honestly not in my office though. It is not super HOT HOT but it is ok. But the food quality is very good and much better than other korean catering. So I ordered catering for my family event and no regret. All my family member loved food, specially jab chae and galbi jjim..!! Those two are my favorite haha10/10.

Food is really clean and tasty, yet I could really tell they don't use any bad msg. I tried their catering lunch box through my work, and I loved all their food so far! The ingredients are really fresh and well cooked. If you're Korean, you would be able to tell the chef of this place is someone who knows the authentic flavor of Korean dishes. It's also really clean and warm too. Highly recommended if you are looking for a catering place near OC!

Not that Great Customer Service. Wait time is really High for fast food service. My family waited for more than 40+ minutes for our food to be served. I really wouldn't come here again. This was the second time I came here for Korean food, but since they have a high volume of catering service. They don't have a lot of time for their customers right off the bat. Food tastes decent, but once again I won't come back unless I have too. Price approximately in the range of $7-$14 bucks per meal. Condiments are served just as any other Korean restaurant.

This place is really good at catering food. Food is very delicious and good portion. If you have a small party at your home, their catering service is perfect!!

my family has loved Matchon for years!! One of our favorite Korea food restaurants of all time -- homemade, excellent quality food that is delicious, satisfying, and makes you feel nourished!

Being Korean myself, I'm very picky when it comes to korean food. If it doesn't taste similar to my mom or grandmas, I usually don't enjoy it. This place not only has authentic Korean food but the owner and workers are perfect examples of Korean hospitality. People view asians as being rude, snappy people but coming here I guarantee you that your views will change. I ordered the pork cutlet and spicy stew with pork rib and potato, and my god... Couldn't finish of course but took some to go to enjoy later. You will not regret coming here. For you boring people who stick with the same food every single day, eating microwave lasagna and meatloaf, get off your couch and try this place out!

Ordered a variety of foods for my daughters first birthday and I will say, ALL my guests were blown away. Many of them asked me where I ordered the food from. There was more than enough for many guests to take some of the food home. Definitely recommend this place for your Korean catering. 10/10!!!!
