My partner and I have had our eyes on this place for a while because the concept of African-Filipino fusion just sounds delicious... but dragging my partner out of bed early on a Sunday to head to the farmers' market in the Redondo Beach Riviera has been a struggle. Today I was able to make the near impossible happen and we got to the market before it got busy (around 10am). I ordered the goat stew whereas my partner (who is Filipino) just wanted to check out their food. As such he got the salmon. The goat stew reminded me of a flavorful and creamy, Indian curry and the meat was very tender. The owner said to be careful of bones but I encountered none. Meanwhile the salmon was well cooked, soft and not dry. The sauce itself had a pleasing sourness to it but the hot sauce on the side really kicked up the flavor. It reminded us of a creamy Tabasco with a myriad of other flavors like garlic and onions. Ironically, the salmon had bones. The side salad was sweet in a good way with quartered grapes providing the main sweetness. The rice had a nice flavor profile rich with tomato--it reminded us of a cross between a creole rice and Spanish rice... but also not? We don't quite know how to describe it but it was good.If I'm ever able to get my partner up early again on a Sunday, we'll be sure to go back! I hope they eventually open a brick and mortar store.Tip: Buy a bottle of the hot sauce if you remotely like hot sauce. If you buy online, the shipping alone is the cost of buying a bottle in person.

Delicious flavors and super nice crew! The salmon and rice were my personal favorites! The owner was so friendly and let us sample multiple dishes before making our choice. Definitely give them a try!

Don't sleep on this spot at the Redondo Beach Farmer's Market on Sundays!! The food may sound unfamiliar on the menu (I had never had West African food before - let alone West African-Filipino fusion), but it is DELICIOUS! Wow! And couple that owns the booth is so incredibly friendly. I was checking out the menu and they offered me a sample of whatever I wanted. A great way to introduce people to the food. I tried the eggplant omelette and the salmon. Both bursting with flavor. I wound up leaving with a chicken wrap, which I thought would be something smaller since I had already bought food from other booths. It was not small at all but packed with veggies and amazing flavors. Their sauces are perfection. I will definitely be returning to the market next time solely for that eggplant omelette.

Filipino Food with a twist! A twist of culinary goodness from Ghana! Discovered them at the Riviera Village Farmer's Market in Redondo Beach. We were intrigued by the combination of food from the Philippines and West Africa combined. We decided to try their Goat Meat with rice and salad combo. OH MY GOODNESS! Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! If you're a foodie, this is a must try! The goat meat was so tender. It almost melted in our mouths. The herbs and spices they used to cook it with was so tasty. Their Jollof rice (cooked in tomato sauce with vegetables) is addicting. Looking forward to trying their other dishes! Can't wait.

Excellent service, excellent quality food! The chicken wrap and the tortang talong (eggplant omelette) are my favorites! Hazel and Felix are very kind and show a great deal of care to their customers. Do not miss this booth at Riviera Market!

The food here was delicious! We had the chicken, the goat stew, and the (vegan) eggplant omelette and tried the salmon too. The person at the booth gave out samples of everything before we chose. Everything was very flavorful, served with a pureed sauce that was made of olive oil, tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, and spices. The meat was so tender it could be cut easily with a fork and had lots of flavor. The meals were served with jollof rice and a salad of greens with grapes and a great very slightly sweet dressing. We got some hot sauce on the side, which was mildly spicy. Everything was about $2-3 less than it probably should be for the area. They don't have a brick and mortar place yet - just an online presence and booth at the Riviera Village Sunday farmers' market - but they should.

I was intrigued by the combination of two cultures and had to try it. Wow...we absolutely loved the food!! My kids were in heaven and I honestly never tasted chicken that tender and the sauce was just incredible. Felix and Hedi (I think that was her name) were very sweet and started their business just 2 years ago. I hope everyone tries their delicacies. I promise you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to go back on Sunday. Now only if they had palabok...I'd be in heaven :).
