This location is in a small to medium strip mall. The restaurant itself is just as nice as other locations, but the mall it is in is not as good quality as other locations. The service was excellent as at other locations. On a Wednesday around 4:30-5:00 they had some business and it was relatively quiet to medium noise level. They have a series of specials for each day of the week at this time. We got the salmon special with standard veggies and an asparagus upgrade premium side. The fish was well cooked and seasoned as at other locations. The standard veggies were fine in quality and quantity, but the asparagus was hardly worth the $3 up charge. In comparison, Wood Ranch BBQ has a far superior asparagus side in terms of seasoning and quantity. We also got the steamed clams. The quality, size, and quantity was superior to the Fish Market, Maggiano's, and other comparable restaurants. There were also small clams in the broth which seemed like canned clams, but were still a nice addition not included at comparable places. We did not get deserts or cocktails on this visit but have had them at other locations and they are worth a try. They do have a happy hour, but check your location for details before visiting. Thought we took pics, but looks like the dog ate them. See those of other Yelpers for menu and food.Overall, a 5 star experience and will come back when we are in the area. Recommend giving them a try.

Feb 3, 2025My wife and I have been patronizing M.B for years and I never was disappointed until today. A Monday at 1:30 pm.We were a party of four (4) and it was my birthday. We were seated, bread was served with butter and our orders were taken by a single waitress, Jordan. Jordan apparently was the only server on duty. I ordered an iced tea and a coconut shrimp appetizer plus a fisherman's stew as the main course. Jordan asked if I wanted the shrimp first and I said yes. My party ordered their choices with no problems The coconut shrimp was brought out first as ordered. I noticed it had changed a lot since my last visit. The shrimp were more heavily breaded and a bit over cooked. No problemo. Then the main dishes were all brought out, mine was served last. No garlic bread? I asked the male server if he'd forgotten the garlic bread. He said, "no" he said that they were OUT OF GARLIC BREAD? I was astonished as garlic bread is part of the appeal of M.B. Fisherman's stew but I decided to let it slide. Dinner went well and afterward we were offered a "complimentary"birthday ice cream sundae. That was nice until the bill came and we found that we were being charged $6.00 for the "complementary" birthday Sundae. Go figure? Jordan was being kept not too busy on this slow Monday afternoon but c'mon? Jordan did come by to apologize for them being out of garlic bread. She said no one had informed her in advance. Out of garlic bread at 1:30 pm? Wow, it must have been quite a morning rush on garlic bread. It was like the time I ordered my favorite B.L.T. sandwich at a major truck stop in North Carolina. It was served with no tomato on it? The waitress (Flo) said that they were out of TOMATOS? (It was summer time) I told them I had ordered a B.L.T. Sandwich not a B.L. Sandwich. The waitress was clueless. Oh well, it was in North Kackalacky after all? I had some Market Broiler gift cards for $200.00, and 4 -$10.00 gift cards stored on my phones email. I wanted to consolidate the cards by cashing on the smaller cards and the balance coming out of the $200.00 card. I was informed that MARKET BROILER could only accept two of the $10.00 cards at a time? Allegedly the bill was paid using two $10.00 cards and the remainder coming from the $200.00 card. However I have no way of knowing what she had actually done with my phones email stored cards as when I look at the $200.00 card now there is no balance shown. Jordan took my phone to a back room and she said she needed to copy the cards numbers. There was no QR SCANNER in the restaurant? Go figure again? I left a $24.00 tip after deducting $6.00 for the "complementary"birthday cream for which I was being charged. Like I said..., C'mon man?I was disappointed to say the least ergo the 4 stars.Update: 4 Feb. '25 09:00I received a call from M.B. and I discussed my issue emphasizing that the server, Jordan was great. All in all it was a good conversation and M.B. decided to send a complementary gift card $$$for my alleged trouble. I didn't think it necessary but M.B. Insisted. I relented. I (We) still love the restaurant and will continue my patronage.. Everybody has an off day every once in a while.

Normally, I'd give a four star but there's a new policy that we objected to, so read on.My friends and I eat here often and have always enjoyed the experience, food, service, and staff. Tonight we were surprised to find an extra 2.75% fee attached to our bill for using a credit card. We found this laughable because the cost of the food didn't decrease by this same amount. Math people will get this. On the flip side, the poor servers are the ones that are being hit the hardest by this fee. Customers by default want to discount the servers' tips. People understand this is a corporate decision, please don't penalize your servers. This change hits them harder than corporate. Come with a debit card or cash and pay your server with cash. FYI: I learned tonight; that the waiters pay the tax, not just on the tips they keep, but also on the tips they share with the busboys and kitchen staff. Wow! Thank goodness that in 2025 the wait staff won't have to pay tax on their tips!

4 stars because my Cheesy potatoes were not hot. Luke warm at best. But that didn't stop me from eating them. They were tasty. We actually planned to have Shake Shack but realized it is not open yet so we decided to check out Market Broiler. So glad we did! The atmosphere had a nice ambiance. Our waiter was very attentive and had great tips for our next visit. He dropped off fresh, hot sourdough to start us off. Yummy!!! We went with the Create your own and I did a 4oz filet, blackened chicken, cheesy potatoes and vegetables. The hubs had a 4oz filet, halibut, roasted red potatoes and vegetables. The filets were outstanding. Perfect medium rare! We finished with chocolate crème brûlée. Overall excellent meal and we look forward to checking out happy hour, which was a suggestion from our waiter. Special Notes: A neighboring table received mai tai drinks and they looked amazing! Also, there was a seafood case you could pick items from to take home. Very cool.

My visit to market broiler which I've been coming to for the last 10 years is the worst experience I've experienced and all of this time apparently they're having new manager in their hiring new servers and these servers don't give a shit about the client I sat there for 15 minutes and not one person looked nor did they stop by and say do you need something as far as I'm concerned I can take this business and shove itI used to spend between two and $300 a month at this place now I'm going to take it someplace else and I'll find another nice restaurant in the area that has good servers that care about their customers

I had been here over the years. Everytime I would visit I was never disappointed. We were here during the happy hour and I love going to a good happy hour place. This is a place I could recommend, happy hour makes me happy. The oysters were fresh. I prefer the raw oysters but also a taste of the Charlbroiled. Now for a dozen oysters the regular price is a better deal. Happy hour just allows you to order less than half a dozen. Our server in the bar area was super sweet. I would definitely come back. Service and food are two thumbs up

Had a craving for fish and since my boyfriend frequents this place, we went here for early dinner. Everything tasted wonderful - every bite of everything tells us that there's a skilled chef in the kitchen who prepared it. My boyfriend and I shared a delicious Clam Chowder Soup and I had a Creative Combo of very delectable Charbroiled Oysters and Fresh Atlantic Salmon with cheese potatoes on the side. My boyfriend greatly enjoyed his mouthwatering Sizzling Seabass with char-grilled asparagus and cheese potatoes. We spent $100 plus for just the two of us -for a place with just an ordinary ambiance, this is pricey, but we're convinced that we came here for the food first and foremost -- service and ambiance comes next. The food is excellent and totally worth it. I know, for sure, that I, too, will come here often.

I came upon this place after finding out CVS pharmacy was closed for a half an hour, and they happen to be just across the street. Lucky me!I walked in, hoping for a quick bite and a brew, so I settled up to the bar where Jeff greeted me almost immediately. He threw three menus at me with no explanation, and so I was a bit perplexed lol. He asked what I was drinking. I ordered an IPA and water. I must say the three menus front and back were a little overwhelming, but it became obvious quite quickly that the afternoon was a good time to go. It was an older, regular crowd. Everybody seemed to know each other, and Jeff knew everybody. I tried to join in a great wine conversation, but That didn't happen being the newbie on the block. Maybe next time. I don't give up that easy. Anyway, my mind was set on steamed clams, so he asked for my order and when I told him steamed clams. He said oh happy hour or regular and I said oh there's happy hour. Of course I'll take the happy hour and they were incredible for eight dollars. I got a pot full of clams in the most amazing Garlic butter clam sauce with very small manila clams. I might add not your little necks. They were served with a delicious loaf of fresh sourdough bread, which I soaked in the gorgeous broth, which was full of clams and garlic and onion. After perusing the menus, I believe happy hour is 1 to 5, 7 days a week and there is also a lunch special from 11 to 3. If you're looking for great fresh seafood and wanting a deal, this is the way to go but they also have anything else you could ever possibly want seafood wise , it's quite a casual setting, but the restaurant also has a select amount of fresh market, seafood to take home and prepare. I will definitely be back and hopefully work my way into the in crowd and be able to get more of Jeff's attention for a five star review!

First, my server Rhe was a joy! You can tell she enjoys her job and providing a memorable experience for her customers. She was efficient and made me feel like I was the only person in the room. Second, the crab, and shrimp Louie salad was bursting with crab and shrimp, along with the other accompaniments for a Louie salad. I am going to crave the Louie dressing! It's perfect for that salad. Third, but definitely not least, the Mai Tai's are authentic to Hawaii and amazing! Thank you to all at Market Broiler for making my day! Especially, a big shout out to Rhe, my server "extraordinaire!"
