First time trying this restaurant. What a wonderful experience. This place was delightful... service was great and food/meats was top quality. We came here for our Christmas Eve dinner. Our server girl, Aozora was friendly, and served us with a smile. She was attentive, and helped us explain some meats in the menu. We ordered a couple of Beef meats, followed by Pork Cheek and chicken thigh meat. We also got their Rice, that comes in a clay Pot. It was tasty. Overall, the meal was pretty pricey, but the quality of their meat was better so it did justify the price. Also, the atmosphere was pleasant and with a friendly staff, it was worth it.

We came to Manpuku on a Sunday for my sister's birthday. We had a reservation, so we got seated pretty quickly and did not run into any trouble searching for parking. I've heard that they can get pretty busy, so we must have been pretty lucky!I love the ambiance of the restaurant. Customers are escorted to their seats and instructed to take off their shoes before sitting down at their table. It's a very unique and interesting experience, to say the least. This is a Japanese BBQ restaurant and they use a charcoal grill as opposed to a gas grill, making the food have a slight char taste to it. We ordered some short rib as well as some prime rib, both were excellent. For the price point, I definitely had higher standards in terms of taste, but that's not to say it was not delicious -- just that I am not sure it is worth the higher price tag. I definitely want to try some of their sashimi next time I am there, because the marinades on the meat may have buried some of the flavor. In terms of service, they get are 10/10. The staff worked hard to make sure we had everything we asked for and were super attentive, coming back every now and then to make sure we had enough water, to see if we wanted to order more, etc. Definitely a nice experience and I'd love to come here again soon.

The good: *phone in for reservation is very rare for a Japanese restaurant!**The setting of table and chairs quite unusual to make diners look like squatting but you're not.***meats are of good qualityThe bad: *parking was always difficult here **Pricy here-almost double to similar quality somewhere else!

Was a regular here from 2017-2020, but came back tonight, uni wagyu piece was disgustingly bitter- there were three pieces, my guest and I each tried one of the three pieces... we did let them know how bad it was- and they only took off 1/3 pieces. LOL. Used to be the best place ever where I took all my friends here. I guess not anymore.

The service here is absolutely amazing and the food comes out so fast even when it's busy. My bf and I had gone here for our post Valentine's Day dinner and got the salt and pepper pork cheek, Kobe short rib, Kobe ribeye, the Tokyo style short rib, and 2 garlic fried rice. We also got 3 drinks and total came out $220 which isn't bad at all. We'll be here again next year!

Manpuku has great meat quality and our server was so kind and attentive throughout our meal. I love their cabbage salad and garlic fried rice to go with their beef tongue. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Parking can be hard to find in the plaza.

Excellent variety and quality of meat. Great Japanese BBQ . Atmosphere was very nice.. you take your shoes off and walk up the steps and into the room.Meat and seafood was really fresh and delicious. The meat is marinated with soy sauce, leading to a slightly salty and sweet taste. I like the taste. The soup was good too.Customer service was on point. I like the staffs here, they are friendly. The one who served our table gave us good recommendations on how to barbecue and what tastes good. The recommendation is useful.Regarding the parking, you can get a permit from the store if you cannot find a spot in the parking lot. I also recommend you to make reservations. This place is always busy.

Yes, this place may be on the pricey side, but for the high quality of the meats you get (as well as the tastiness of their other items), it is well worth the splurge! You can order ala carte, or you can go with one of their two prix fixe options. One is their "prime tasting" which comes with short rib, ribeye, hanger steak, outside skirt, tri tip and shrimp. The other is their "american wagyu tasting" which comes with tenderloin filet, short gib, ribeye, outside skirt, shrimp and scallop. Both menus also come with some appetizers and side dishes (kimchi, shishito peppers, a salad, a soup and garlic fried rice). If you're in a group, my recommendation is that whatever size your party is, I would subtract one from that number and order that number of servings. So if you're in a group of 4, just order 3 servings of the prime or 3 of the wagyu. It's plenty of food (especially since it comes with all the sides mentioned above) and ordering one less serving will help offset some of the costs. When we went, we ordered both the prime and wagyu tasting menus. There was so much meat they all started to blur together in the end, but I can honestly say they were all excellent and there was not one bite I had where I thought "okay, next time I'll be sure not to get this cut". So really, you can't go wrong with any of the items!Excellent spot to take some friends who are visiting and want to experience a delicious japanese bbq experience!

This place was packed so we were glad to have a reservation. We were seated in an area with a low table and had to remove our shoes before entering that area. We ordered an assortment of meat platters. The marbled short rib was my favorite. The quality of meat here is obviously high quality and tasted great. I appreciate how hot the grill gets as it cooks quickly and evenly with no issues. The grill top got switched out a few times so we had a clean fresh grill to work with throughout the meal. I ordered the white peach juice. It's a very small serving but tasted nice and refreshing. The service here is fast! They are whipping out the dishes quickly and clearing old dishes off your table just as promptly which I appreciate. Everyone is friendly and dinner was delicious. Highly recommend making a reservation. Also the parking lot is tiny and you should expect to circle and wait and jam your vehicle into a tiny spot. There is also a lot of reserved spots for adjacent businesses you can't park in so be careful where you're parking.

After passing this place so many times and seeing great reviews I decided to check this spot. Food quality and service is exceptional. This rates as one of my top premium japanese grill restaurants.beautiful ambiance. you cook everything yourself except for the sukiyaki wrap which is a fave along with the manpuku salad and uni and kobe beef sashimi you can opt to have the meat prepared with salt and pepper vs the sauce marinade Def recommend as a treat and worth the price
