Really enjoyed this restaurant! The service, ambiance and food! Came here for a work dinner. There were 12 of us. The restaurant is small plates for sharing. Some items were larger than others however I'd see most plates would feed about 4 people. We all started with cocktails and wine and there were no complaints. I really enjoyed my old fashioned. Ended up having 2. - Cheddar bacon biscuits were a 5/5! There were sooo good! Had to stop myself from eating them or else I wouldn't try anything else. - Can't go wrong with meat and cheese board. So good! 5/5- I loved the brussel sprouts! They were flavorful and perfectly cooked. - Skirt steak medium was 5/5. I'd definitely order that again. - Ribeye was underwhelming - The rigatoni was very flavorful and 5/5- Seafood pasta was ok 3/5- Cauliflower was 5/5. Very flavorful with and a little spicy from the peppers. - Salmon 2/5. It was light but very lacking in flavor We didn't make it to dessert as we were all stuffed! Ambience i'd give a 5/5. Very nice atmosphere. Loved the music selection! I will return!

I really wanted to like it here because of the calming and pretty interior and hip music selection but found myself disappointed with the food and prices. I would only suggest MB Post if you're looking for a place with a nice ambiance and good drinks. Note that parking can be tricky in MB but there's a large parking structure that is walking distance :)- Green beans (3/5): nothing special, best part was the addition of pork but there were only a few pieces- Biscuits (5/5): great flavor but not my favorite - my friends did though! - Shrimp (1/2): Bland and mole sauce was lacking in depth and flavor- Skirt Steak (5/5): would order again :) - Ricotta Cavatelli: great flavor but not anything out of the worldIn terms of drinks, we got the old fashion and TSA Precheck that were both amazing! By far one of my favorite cocktails in LARegardless of my disappointed, shout out to our server Anthony who was exceptional, friendly, and always on top of everything!

Went there with friends who had been there before and they were experts. Order multiple dishes and share them and you'll be happy! They are served 'as they come out' but you are told that so you're ready. Kale Apple Salad Blistering Blue Lake Green BeansPork Chop (they call it a Porterhouse cuz it's huge)Skirt SteakFriesSeared Scallops AND THE BISCUITS!!!!We had a bunch of drinks that were delicious but added almost $100 to our bill-we expected this but would slow that roll next time. Not a giant dessert menu but The Elvis was yummy. Totally would go back! Res seemed practically mandatory as I saw folks waiting, but it was Saturday night so yes, that happens!

Ambience is great, food was okay, service could be improved especially for what you pay for! They forgot one of our dishes and didn't bring it out until we were all finished with our mains and asked about the missing dish. The waiter said he would check with the kitchen and I guess it was missed. We were then charged for it twice on our bill... good thing we caught the extra charge. Kind of annoying that they not only forgot one our dishes but also tried to charge us for it twice.Came here for dinner on a Thursday night with reservations. Parking is hard find even on the weekdays. The restaurant is beautiful and there is a nice waiting area where you can order drinks. The food was good and the presentation was wonderful. The DineLA menu seemed to be an up charge so we ordered off the regular menu as well. One person ordered off the DineLA menu and got the scallop crudo, sea bass, and pistachio ice cream. The scallop crudo was very fish and not pleasant in mind. The sea bass with curry was a little too sweet and dry. The pistachio ice cream was amazing though, and I would definitely recommend this. We also got the shellfish bolognese, skirt steak and scallops. The skirt steak was great, and the brocollini that came with it was super charred and flavorful. The bolognese was not what I was expecting, did not taste much shellfish and it was more of a meaty dish, but still good. The scallops arrived after we were done with all of our food, but they were probably the best main course. They were sweet and perfectly cooked.MBP is known as a nice restaurant and with the price tag I expect excellent food and service. The food is pretty good, some dishes have room for improvement. I was already slightly annoyed when they were forgetting drinks, but they also forgot an entree which is a much larger mistake. Bringing food out 20 minutes later when everyone is done eating just isn't really the vibe we were expecting from a restaurant of this caliber. Then seeing us be charged twice for it(an accident of course) on our bill was just salt on the wound.

Food was honestly just meh. Bacon cheddar biscuits are kinda hard and not my favorite. Skip the pea agnolotti it's not good. Mushroom toast was good but has a slightly vinegar flavor to it. The pork tenderloin was delicious. Service here was AMAZING and so fast. Even to refill the soda as swap plates which is why the review is still a 4 star. A little loud inside overall but wouldn't want to sit outside as it's kinda weird to be on the sidewalk.

We went here for a friend's birthday, and this spot is everything you'd want! The vibe is adorable with great lighting and aesthetic touches, plus they have a rotating seasonal menu that keeps things fresh and exciting. We ordered a little bit of everything: the famous biscuits, skirt steak and eggs, eggs benedict, apple cider churros, and a pear and almond brioche danish. Note: the eggs Benedict uses the same famous biscuit, so you could totally just get that instead of the biscuits a la carte. Nothing I'd say was a true standout but everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch. They accidentally messed up one of our drinks but totally made up for it comping it before fixing it, so no complaints there! Plus, they give complimentary dessert for birthdays, which made the celebration feel extra special. If you're looking for a cute and celebratory brunch spot, this place is a must-try!

Great date spot or a nice restaurant for a quieter upscale ambiance. Came on a weekday night with a couple friends, we had a reservation but I doubt we really needed one. The food was absolutely delicious. We got a whole range of dishes including the cheddar cheese and skirt steak. There's definitely something for everyone. The drinks were great too. Parking out front is limited to 24 minutes so you may need to find street parking around the area. Service was great. Will definitely come back!

I feel like this is one of those spots that you come to for the vibes, but not necessarily for the food. My boyfriend took me here for brunch a while back to celebrate my birthday. I liked how bright and open the restaurant was, and we got our own little table away from others, so it felt like we had our own little space. Service was pretty standard as well - no complaints. As for the food, to start, we ordered the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits to share. We were excited to try these because my boyfriend had heard about their "award-winning" biscuits, but maybe we set our expectations too high because we didn't think they were anything incredible (don't get me wrong, we still enjoyed them). For mains, I got the lobster avocado toast, and my boyfriend got the carnitas breakfast chimichanga with beans, both of which were pretty good. Finally, for my birthday, we got a cinnamon roll with lemon glaze "on the house", which we also thought was decent. I did notice a charge for it on our receipt, but we were able to have our waiter remove it.This is a cute brunch spot, but I wouldn't expect the food to blow your mind. Would still recommend!

My friend brought me here for my birthday dinner. I hadn't been here in a while and the last time it was for brunch. We shared the crispy fries and the Brussels sprouts as our shareable sides. Loved the fries, so crisp and tender in the inside. The best fries I've ever had. Also loved the crispy Brussels sprouts. For my main, I had the skirt steak with broccolini. It was cooked to a perfect medium. Loved it. My friend loved her hamachi crudo. I had a nice pinot noir that was recommended by our server. For dessert, my friend and I shared The Elvis. Loved it. Our server was attentive and friendly. Street metered parking is available and there's also a parking structure.

I'm giving one star because our waiter David or Dan I can't remember but he was amazing! Okay now I'm sorry but this place is NOT good. Like horrible. Menu truly truly truly SUCKS. Maybe brunch isnt the time to go here but it was like 3 pm, how is that still brunch? Anyway, save your money and go to Mastros if you're trying to pay top dollar. I literally paid $200 for 2 crackers and cheese...and a few other finger picking foods. Yikes. Oh and the little cheese plate wasn't even tasty. Wtf...
