I finally got to try their food the other night and it was even better than what I was expecting! The hubby and I decided to share:- Spaghettini (subtle but satisfying, with intriguing spicy pickled lemons?)- Polpette (satisfyingly meaty meatballs in bright tomato sauce with nice chunk of grilled Gusto bread)- Caesar salad (wonderfully garlicky with cheesy croutons and capers)The plates were on the smaller side, but we weren't terribly hungry so they filled us up quite nicely; had we ordered another dish, as we were thinking we might, we definitely would've been overfull. Service was friendly and prompt, and the food came out really fast. No beer and wine as of yet--they said in about another week. The prices are not cheap, but I think the quality of the food, presentation, and service doesn't make it outlandish in these times. To sum up, we were very impressed; this will definitely be in our regular neighborhood dinner rotation and we'll be bringing all our vegan/vegetarian/flexitarian friends. Mangia!

Stopped by the soft opening with the limited dinner menu. The parking lot was pretty small but we got lucky with parking. We had a short wait before sitting down. All the food we had was delicious although portion sizes are on the smaller size. We ordered the Pizza montanara - so crispy and delicious. Gnocchi was so light and purple the sauce served with it was so delicious. We also shared the Strozzapreti sausage chili which had nice flavor too. We finished it off with the olive oil cake which is served with a blueberry compote and ice cream - so delicious and a perfect way to finish off the meal They just opened so no alcohol could be served yet but you bring a bottle of wine. They are still learning so we had like 3 servers ask our water order - still, sparkling or filtered tap. But they were all very attentive and could answer questions. It's a small space and can be a little cramped with people sitting at the bar. Servers delivering food and the tables. But overall cute decor and we both would go back for when they have the full menu offering.

My partner and I ventured out and drove 1.5 hours on Saturday to get to this restaurant. We arrived at about 5:45 PM as we saw their hours on IG were from 5:30-9:00 PM, no reservations being taken. Had we known that there were actually people with reservations who kept being seated ahead of us instead of a first come first served policy as we were led to believe, we would not have driven all the way here and waited 1.5 hours standing up. They had also advertised a limited menu online, of just 4 items- meatballs, olives, one pizza and an eggplant Parmesan. So we figured expediting service would be faster and easier than a full menu. When we arrived we were given a full menu, 15 items. If we could have at least put our names down and been contacted once our table was ready, it wouldn't have been so bad. One of the worst experiences and such a waste of time. Reached out to them on IG and they did not even care to respond.Thank you to the business owner for his response. As a note we never got to enjoy dinner at this restaurant, we left after waiting standing up for 1.5 hours. The final straw was finally seeing a table opening up but then yet another group were seated as soon as they arrived instead of those of us waiting . Not one person in front of us was seated during the 1.5 hours we were standing there, only people who walked in who had "reservations". The group waiting behind us left after 30 minutes.

Such a great new addition to Long Beach! I have now been twice: once for the coffee and pastries (8 AM to 3 PM), and Dinner service (after 5 PM). I thoroughly enjoyed each visit! The pastries they have during coffee hours are simply delicious. So Italian authentic you wouldn't even know they're plant based! The food during dinner service was simply delicious! We had the Pizza Montanara (pan fried pizza), and the Caesar salad to start. Both are so unique, I had never tasted anything like it! The pizza's dough is sooo light and tasty before you know it it's gone! The romaine leaves in the Cesar salad are roasted, the dressing has a lovely tang thanks to all the capers, and the croutons are nicely roasted! We also had the Lasagna, and the Agnolotti pasta. Both dishes absolutely delicious! For dessert we took the Olive oil cake with vanilla ice cream and it was mind blowing! I can't recommend this place enough, and I can't wait to come back once they include oven pizzas to the menu. The service both times has been great. Everyone working there does a fantastic job making you feel welcome and well taken care of.

My new favorite place for coffee! The restaurant is gorgeous, staff was friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell everything was made from scratch with precision. We got the Shakerato (espresso and vanilla hard shaken) and a cold brew along with some pastries. Best coffee I've had in LB, and the treats.. I could die. Wanted to take extra home with me.I've had Paul's vegan pizzas in the past and am looking forward to coming back for the full menu!

Lasagna is great! The warm olives came out with a very small piece of bread 1 piece for 2 people). The spaghettiini was a bit undercooked. The gnocchi was cold. To their credit, they are brand new. We will come back in 6 months, hopefully, things will be worked out by then. They charge high end prices for average food. The wait was a bit long, which was strange since we came a few minutes after they opened
