The service here is excellent! From the time I entered till the time I left I felt welcomed and my glass was kept full . I came for the weekend buffet, it had a decent selection from salad , prime rib, ham, corn beef , ribs, shrimp , an omelet station , churros, French toast bacon , hot chocolate , coffee and assorted juices . A desert table with cookies and cheesecake bites . Some of the food I liked and some of it I didn't but For the price $39 isn't bad and unlimited mimosas for $14 . The front of the place is a sports bar with TVs where you can sit have a drink and watch the games . The back is the restaurant area for the brunch . They have a private room you can rent out for parties . A party was going on while I was there and they had a DJ so it was really loud !!!! I loved being able to sit and look out the window as I could see the boats sailing by and it was nice. If you go with a large group tables only accommodate about 4-5 people and I would recommend making a reservation. There is a 2 hour limit once you sit down .

I've only ever had drinks here and have only been twice. And both times it wasn't busy when I went. There is window seating with a nice view overlooking the water. I'd like to try their food sometime as it looks tasty from what I've seen. It's a cool place that I'll definitely go to again in the future.

We were looking for a place for happy hour in the Long Beach/Seal Beach area. Malainey's seemed like a good choice. My first surprise is there was plenty of free and easy parking. I was expecting to have to pay for parking so that's a big plus. Mulainey's is in a marina area with other shops and restaurants. There's plenty of seating and we were even allowed to sit next to a window with a great view of the marina. The happy hour menu is pretty basic, but you can certainly find something to your liking as far as food goes.We had two tacos, $4 each. They were really good and they don't skimp on the meat or ingredients. We also had the tomato basil pizza. $12 It was a good size for sharing and it had an excellent garlic flavor. Wait, it gets better. When you check in on Yelp you get a coupon for free french fries, and they're good, too!The drink deals aren't great, though. They only have two beers on the HH menu, PBR and Coors Light. $5.75 for a pint. Well drinks are $7 on the hh menu. I ordered a Coke and it was $4.95. Kinda' pricey for a Coke, and no free refill. The service was so-so. It took a long time to get our drinks, but we didn't mind. The atmosphere was nice and it was a nice place to hang out for a chat. Also, they have plenty of screens to watch whatever sports events are going on at the moment. They have live music that starts at 7:00 PM. The band was excellent...so good I got up and danced!I'd go back for hh and some good live music for sure!

We saw an incredible show by virtuoso guitar genius Greg Koch at Malainey's. The music was phenomenal - just amazing in every possible sense, the sound was incredible, and our seating was perfect. My friend ordered the Shepherd's Pie, and said it was great. Another friend had the Calamari and said it was the best. And our server, Markette, did a super job (and is a super cute young lady!). Looking forward to seeing many more shows at Malainey's, my new favorite live music venue!

Everything is exceptional, the food, the view, the service and staffs, except the bathroom. It smells and needs updates. Other than that, recommended to go here for brunch.

Came here for brunch buffet. To start off there is a mandatory 18% gratuity added on. Ouch! the food looks good but overall lacked flavor. Had a nice variety of foods but felt like most of it lacked flavor or spices needed to really sell the food. Staff is very nice and the man with the glasses at the meat carving/pasta/omelette station was really nice. At the end of the meal the check showed the mandatory gratuity but then shocked us with an extra service charge! So not only are we paying an 18% tip but even more charges! And we were not the only ones shocked by this another couple also realized as we did! It would have been nice to be informed by that before we just see it in the check. Total for two was 106, and mind you we didnt get any alcohol or anything extra. Seems a bit much for two. Overall was nice to experience it, but will not be back. Also the parking lot is very confusing.

Ambiance: beautiful view from the inside, decor was a little old and wasn't really busy for a happy hour but overall I liked it inside. Service: Our server was decent. I had to look for her a few times, but she seemed to be the only one on the floor at the time, so it wasn't bad. Food: I'm still thinking about the zucchini. It was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked! Loaded fries and wings were delicious as well. Menu had a lot to offer... enjoyed it thoroughly. Parking was kind of annoying

We visited on a Sunday for brunch, and the restaurant was extremely busy. The hostess was clearly overwhelmed by the number of guests but still took the time to come over and apologize, which we appreciated. Fortunately, we were able to sit on the outdoor patio, which offered a stunning ocean view. Our party of 10 opted for the all-you-can-drink mimosas for $15 and the buffet for $40. While the drinks were a great deal, the buffet itself was mediocre and didn't feel worth the price. Despite that, I would consider returning to try the regular menu, as the location and atmosphere were enjoyable.
